And we're back to another chapter of The Resistance. This chapter is going to be in the perspective of Dipper for most of the time when he gets captured and thrown in jail. Anyways enough of my rambling let's just get on with the story.

Dipper's P.O.V.

We have been fighting Kreis's army for quite some time when I see a blast of darkness consume JJ. I stopped fighting and was left vulnerable to be captured.

After being captured with some other people I know we were sent to a maximum security prison. Where we would spend the rest of our lives.

Except I was determined to escape this prison. When the time was right I'd do it.

It was night time and there were no guards guarding my cell, so I slipped through the cell bars and sneakily made my way to the front gate.

As I approached the front gate I thought that this was too easy just to escape. Nonetheless I climbed up the gate and flung myself onto the other side.

As soon as my feet set foot on the ground I sprinted away from the prison, not caring enough to look back.

I was free. Now it was time to find my family.

Brrriiinnnggg

I woke up and sadly my escape was just a dream. Oh how much I wanted that to be real. I got out of bed to see my cell mates already up and ready to go.

"Escape dream"? That was Terrance, he was 6'2" with a bulky shape. He had the common brown eyes and he was a lizard man.

"Yeah, escape dream." I replied back to him.

"Don't worry, you'll get used to it." That was Roger, he was only 5' but had a round shape. He had pure black eyes, sclera and all and he was also a troll.

These two would be my prison buddies. The ones to back me up and the ones to keep me sane. After all, this is my first time actually going to prison, I don't know how Gideon survived.

"Hey Dipper stand up, the guards are coming." Terrance said.

I got out of the bed and stood at attention. As the guard walked in front of our cell he stopped. He turned his line of vision directly towards me. Stared me right in the eyes. Grunted then starting yelling. "DO YOU KNOW WHY YOU ARE IN HERE"?

I stood there and didn't say anything. As a result he slapped me in the face and I fell to the ground.

"I SAID DO YOU KNOW WHY YOU ARE IN HERE"? He yelled again.

I didn't want to answer but I muttered a "No sir" with a sassy tone in my voice.

"YOU ARE HERE BECAUSE YOU WERE AND STILL COULD BE A PART OF THIS SO CALLED RESISTANCE THAT WAS AND NO LONGER IS A THREAT TO OUR LORD KREIS." He shouted now spitting in my face.

After his scream-sesh he walked out and we were allowed to go to breakfast, but I had a feeling that I would be suspect number one.

A little while later

Breakfast, one of the most important meals of the day, was now the worst meal of the day as we were forced to eat nothing but slop, and even worse it was pig slop. I hadn't eaten a good meal in a few days, but I could survive.

"Dipper, you were part of the Resistance"? Roger asked me.

"Yes I was, I was actually the right hand man." I said answering his question.

"You were the right hand man, so you knew the leader. Ooh what's he like"? Terrance now asked.

"I knew the leader very well, we fought at the beginning of the war side by side. We were good friends, and we would have been a family after a few years. We agreed that our kids would be getting married."

"Man, that must be tough losing your child like that, do you think she's alive"?

"Terrance, I don't know, she's not here in the prison so she could be dead or out there in the world hiding form Kreis. I just hope she's all right."

"ALL RIGHT YOU MAGGOTS IT'S TIME FOR WORK SO GET YOUR BUTTS OUT OF YOUR CHAIR, THROW YOUR TRASH AWAY AND GET TO WORK OR THERE WILL BE CONSEQUENCES." Another guard ordered.

"I'm getting sick of this place. I just want to escape this place and see my family again."

"I feel you Dipper, I was taken away from my family when Kreis found out that I wasn't paying my taxes. Was given life time service for it."

"Roger, everyone gets life time service at this prison so quit your complaining. At least you two had a family, I lost my family at birth and never got a chance to start my own family."

"Guys enough of the sad family stories, let's just go do our jobs."

And if they understood what I was trying to say, they nodded their heads and stopped talking. As we were working Terrance came up to me.

"Dipper, I know it's a crazy idea but if we do get out of this prison alive, do you think there's enough room in the resistance for me"?

"Of course. We're always looking for others willing to rebel against Kreis."

"Thanks Dipper."

"No problem. Now get back to work before you get us all in trouble."

"Yes sir, Mr. Dipper sir."

He turned around and got back to work. Then a memory of JJ came to mind, but it wasn't a good memory, it was when he was consumed by darkness and was killed. The Resistance was broken and there was nothing I could do about it. Absolutely nothing.

???'s P.O.V.

I woke up to see a bright light and a girl with blonde hair and aqua blue eyes. "Oh thank goodness you're safe." She said embracing me in a hug. I didn't know what to think but what I did know was that I knew the girl, but her name was fuzzy in my mind, and it seemed that she thought I knew her name so I didn't bother asking.

"What happened"? I asked her.

"Well you see, you being attacked and almost died luckily I was just able to save you, but whatever I did, I won't be able to do it ever again." She looked sad, like she had lost something.

"What's wrong, you look sad."

"Well you see, I witnessed my husband get captured by Kreis's minions." She was crushed and I could tell, I don't know who this Kreis person is but all I knew is that this guy was a bad dude.

"Don't worry, you will see him again. I know it."

"Thanks but I don't even know if we was sent to prison or killed, who knows maybe he escaped and is out in the world today."

"Listen, I know you're sad but don't worry so am I."

"What are you sad about"?

"I don't remember anything, I don't even know my own name. But it looks like you do. Can you help me"?

"Of course, we can start by your name."

"Great, what's my name"?

"Your name is..."
