Xander's P.O.V.

I met up with Dipper and Zephyr after they got back from their adventure into another ship. Apparently they almost died and we've got more people to worry about that can oppose a threat to us.

"So what you're saying is that more dangers to look out for"? I asked them.

"What we're saying is, or at least I'm saying is that we're one step closer to ending this war, for 'The Lost Hope.'" Zephyr explained.

We parted ways and I went to find Mabel hanging around trying to find ways to keep herself preoccupied. As I was walking I walked past Elise's room and there were stacks of books everywhere, it was as if she was trying to figure something out. I casually knocked on her door.

Knock. Knock. Knock. "Hey Elise what are you up to"?

"Xander, um, it's nothing. Just reading that's all."

"No one keeps stacks of books in their room to just read to pass time, especially during a war. What is all of this for"?

"Ok, I'm doing some research. A while back Kreis captured me and said something about an author sending me away. I've been trying to figure out what it was she was talking about, I starting to think that we're just made up characters used to please an audience of readers into an imagination in anyone's point of view. Does this make sense or have I lost you"?

"No no no no no, I'm still here and I think you may be onto something, I've always felt like something doesn't feel right like JJ shouldn't be like super human, he says he's a normal human being just like the rest of us."

"That's it." She sounded excited as if she had a breaking point.

"What's it"?

"Xander, thanks to you I may be one step closer into figuring all of this out. Can you cover for me, I want to do this alone."

"Yeah, I can do that. Your secret is my secret, I won't tell a soul."

"Thank you so much."

I walked out and heard the door lock behind me. I remembered that I was going to go meet up with Mabel to see what she was doing. As I grew closer to her I started to feel dizzy, "Mabel, help."

Mabel's P.O.V.

I saw Xander fall onto the ground after asking for help. I checked his pulse and made sure he was still alive, he was fine. He might have passed out from lack of sleep, I called Dipper in and he picked Xander up and brought him to bed.

"Thanks Dipper. It means a lot to me."

"No problem sis, we may be in the middle of a war but we can at least look after each other."

"Dipper, do you think we'll live to the end of this war"?

"Yes, of course I do. Me and Zephyr were talking about that ourselves and we were actually talking about attacking in the next few days or so. We're just one step closer to ending this war."

"That's great, I can't wait to have my normal life back."

"Don't worry Mabel, after this war is over our lives will be perfect."

Kreis's P.O.V.

"There lives will be ruined after I have killed them all and won the war."

"Um, master? What if we don't win the war"?

As soon as he had said that I had my kumu eat him, alive at that fact. "That'll show you not to underestimate me with my army, we are winning this war."

"Master, it's time to head out, the mortals are on their way as we speak."

"Perfect, we're just one step closer to eradicating all life in the universes."

Sorry for the short chapter but I wanted to get something out before everyone hates me. So I have something out now, next chapter will be so much longer, it'll be the start of the final battle of the war everyone is in.
