Hope's P.O.V.

"Ok, so what you're saying is, we're not actually real"? Elise had ran up to me after the battle and explained to me what she's been doing the past few weeks.

"Yes, precisely. We are just made up people in what others would call a 'fanfiction.' Pretty much a weird guy or girl makes up a story based off of something they love."

"But why is this something we have to worry about?"

"Because this is where the book ends, just a couple more lines and we start to disappear."

"Then that must means, this book doesn't have a happy ending."

"That's right, a happy ending would require everyone to be alive and the enemy to be stopped, but we only had one of those outcomes. We're the only ones left."

I looked around and saw that there were only three of us. Me, Elise, and Pacifica. There was no denying that this wasn't a tragic ending.

"What is there left to do?"

"Well, there is only one thing to do, fade away. Our purpose has been fulfilled and all we have left to do let the story end." As she said those words she slowly started to fade away until she was no longer existent.

Pacifica slowly started to fade as well and I was the last one to fade, as my body started turning transparent and the book came to an end.

This is how our legacy ends.

What a terrible way to end a book right? Yeah, I had no idea how to properly end the story so I just stormed my way through with hardly any words. Sorry not sorry for the trashy ending.
