Ok, quick catch up because even I'm confused with the characters that are alive. On the resistance 'Lost Hope' we have Zephyr, Hope, Elise, Dipper, Mabel, Xander, Wendy, Brianna (Zephyr and Hope's Mom who probably won't speak much in this story), and also JJ and Pacifica who are alive just not grouped up with the others. And on Kreis's side, it's just her and her right hand man Jarold. Oh and this is explained later on in the story. Now that all of this is taken care of let's move on to the story.

Xander's P.O.V.

"*sigh* Here I am pouring gas into a ship that keeps us alive from an inter-dimensional dream demon that wants all of us dead. Can't she just give up, we're not going to continue to fight her we're just going to keep running away. We're only mortal and our fears are getting the best of us."

"Xander hun, are you okay? You're speaking to yourself again." My girlfriend Mabel chimed up.

"Yes dear I'm fine, just complaining to myself."

"You've been doing it a lot though lately. I'm getting worried."

"Don't worry about me, I'll be fine. I probably just need a few hours of sleep."

"Okay, well when you're done with this you have to take a nap, deal"?

"Yes, that sounds like a deal." She walked back into the ship and I continued filling it up with gas.

After I finished filling the ship up with gas I walked into the ship and went to bed.

Elise's P.O.V.

I was reading the books we had to figure out what this author was that Kreis had said before I vanished away from her and into my room. I had read about that thing near her shoulder and I found out what it does. I would have to tell Zephyr before we go into our final battle.

After reading every book we had there was nothing about this author anywhere. Think Elise think, what is the definition of an author?

Dipper's P.O.V.

I am getting way too old for this war, but I am one of the only ones left that knows Kreis well enough to where she's almost unstoppable. I mean she's a cipher after all, and I've fought enough ciphers when I was only 12.

"Hey Dipper, set course for Globulin will you." Zephyr told me.

"Yeah, I got it." I responded back after putting the ship in hyper-drive. It won't take us long to make it to Globulin, after all it was only in the next galaxy.

After making it to Globulin we encountered another ship so I decided to reach out to them through the radio Comcast.

"Hello, this is Dipper Pines with the resistance known as 'Lost Hope' are you friend or foe"? I waited a while to see if they would respond back but I got nothing. "I repeat,  this is Dipper Pines with the resistance known as 'Lost Hope' are you friend or foe"? Nothing responded. "If there is anyone on the ship we are coming in to dock, be prepared for some company."

I docked the ship onto the mysterious ship and nothing weird happened. I met up with Zephyr and we walked into the ship, cautious of our surroundings. We steadily crept towards the cock pit to see who was in this ship.

We stalked into the door frame and saw two bodies on the ground unconscious. We ran over and checked each of their pulses, both of them were alive, barely though. I jumped into the pilots seat and started the ship and flew to the closest planet around to land.

After landing we were able to wake the strangers up, I had a few questions to ask them. "Excuse me, but what are your names"?

Through struggling breathing he managed to answer me. "I'm...Sammy...and...this is...my sister...Jennifer. We're...castaways...please...help us." I help Sammy and make sure he's sitting up straight. 

It's complicated to treat their wounds because it seems like they're not there but they still seem hurt. I get Sammy to stand up and help him walk a little. "Just make sure your taking it easy, okay."

"Yeah, I'll be fine. Check on my sister though, she is unable to speak so she can not tell you where it hurts."

"Do you two have twin telepathy"?

"I've never though we did during our childhood but lately I've been feeling certain things whenever Jennifer does. It's kind of weird actually, she knows exactly what I'm thinking at all times."

"Ok, I'm going to try and find the POP."

"The POP"?

The Point of Pain, it's where pain builds up and spreads throughout the body, I need you to tell me when you can feel it."

"How do I know when you find it"?

"Trust me, you'll know."

I start to feel around the main points where pain builds up the most. Sammy starts to have a little bit of pain shown on his face, and I know that twin telepathy pain is worse than normal pain being a twin myself.

"Why is this pain so bad, I feel like I'm going to die."

"That means I found the POP, hang tight while I start to tend to the wound." I start to massage the spot and realize that her leg is experiencing critical muscle spraining. "We're going to have to bring her aboard our ship where we have the necessary tools for this job. Zephyr, give me a hand with her."

Zephyr comes and hoists one of her arms on his shoulders and we walk step by step and advance to out ship.

Monster roar.

"By any chance Sammy did you two have some sort of creature on board during your expenditures"?

"Well, we did have something like that. It was a demon with sharp claws and had tentacles for a mouth. It was 7 feet tall and had a wingspan of 5 feet wide. It's a killer and killed everyone else on board."

"Wait, there were others on board? How many"?

"Well not counting us two there were about fifteen hundred people on board."

"Well no wonder this ship was so much bigger than ours. Come on Dipper, we've got to get her to safety." Zephyr spoke up worried about the monster coming our way. So we started to pick up the pace.

We made it to the final hallway to the docking area but as we started to continue walking the creature was sighted exiting another doorway leading right to us, we tried to stay as quiet as possible so we wouldn't get sighted.

"Hey you, bird breath, we're over here you stupid son of a ..." I covered his mouth before he could finish his sentence but it was too late, the creature shot his head at us and begun charging.

"Dipper, go around I'll take care of this creature."

"Are you sure, I mean I know how strong you are but we don't have the first-aid to heal Jennifer and you."

"I've never been more sure in my life, I'll keep it busy long enough for you to get to the door, when you exit wait for my signal to start to close it."

"Ok, be careful, Zephyr. We need you." And with that I took Sammy and Jennifer the long way around but Sammy had to lead us the way we needed to go. Something though, didn't seem right about him.

Zephyr's P.O.V.

I stood my ground as the monster charged at me, ready for any blow it might have. It swung it's claws at me but I blocked it with ease. but what I didn't expect was that it continuously swung at me with it's claws, left and right for a good minute.

Finally it was my turn to strike, I slid under it's legs and struck it with all my might, but the sword broke on his back. At first I was devastated that the sword my father bought for me was destroyed, the last memory I had, gone.

Then an arm hit me right in the gut and I was thrown into the wall. Clutching on to my stomach and breathing heavily I attempted to look at the creature but all I could see was a blur. Eventually my sight became clear and I saw the beast about to strike once more. I avoided the strike and attempted to stand up.

My legs were weak and my heart was pounding, but something inside me told me to keep going and to keep fighting. Next thing I know I'm hit with another strike into yet another wall. Now contemplating death I realize the dangers of my life ending, the world that Kreis destroys and the people enslaved. I stand up and shake my head clearing all thoughts of giving up and filling myself with determination.

I sprint behind the monster and I bash some of the broken sword into his skull only for it to be absorbed into his head, I stagger back and watch as the beast grows another foot in height, but I notice he's almost a little too big for the hallway that we're in so I pick up more shards and continue to stick them into it's body.

The creature continues to grow in size and he eventually can't move from the position that its in. I stare at it as it struggles to move, but I knew that this fight was no where near over.

Dipper's P.O.V.

"Sammy, where are we going, this can't be the way to the docking door."

"You're right, it's not. We're on our way to the control room."

"Wait, why"? Then a fist plunges into my stomach and I collapse to the floor in pain. I look up and I see Jennifer and Sammy standing there looking just fine, as if nothing bad happened to them. "Who. Are. You. And are you friend or foe"?

"We're demons hired by Kreis to kill you fools, hence the monster that was in the hallway that I called out to. Your friend should be dead by now and you're going to be next." My mind shifts to Zephyr and the only thing that I can think about is if he's ok. "And if you haven't figured it out yet, we are your foes."

"You both will pay for what you have done. Making us feel sorry for you, making us help you, and especially for underestimating the both of us." I stand up and strike one of them and kick the other one back.

"I'll admit Mr. Pines, I did not expect you to fight back after that blow. It looks like we're actually going to have to try to kill you this time."

They both attacked me but I grabbed both of their attacks and threw them backwards. This fight would indeed be tough but nothing too much for me. I started taking care of Sammy first then deal with Jennifer. I start to kick and punch blocking and avoiding any attacks Sammy throws at me.

I push him away and start dealing with Jennifer. She's a little bit stronger than her brother but I still manage to fend her off. Each swing and block I grow weaker and more tired, and I eventually feel like I'm going to lose this battle but I keep in mind what the goal is, to defeat Kreis Cipher, not these two.

I push them back and make a dead sprint to the exit where I manage to escape them for a little bit. "Dipper, where are you going, we're not done having fun."

"Well I am, so I hope I see you never." I keep running as I say these things. I can hear them behind me though, I get to the door and close it, afterwards I lock it and break the lock. "Good luck getting through this one." I mumble to myself.

I continue running and hope that Zephyr is doing ok.

Zephyr's P.O.V.

So I'm running and eventually I run into Dipper. "Dipper, what are you doing here"?

"Looking for you and..." a metal sheet flew over our heads. "Apparently running from that thing now." We start to run and I thankfully get a hold of Hope.

"Hope hey it's me listen I need you to be ready to undock with the ship we are docked to. Dipper and I are running for our lives from some sort of Cthulhu thing and when we get on the ship we need to hopefully be ready to escape."

"I read you loud and clear already heading to the cockpit."

"Thank you so much." We continue running for what seemed like forever but we eventually make it back to the loading docks and we get back on our ship. "Now Hope."

Hope pushes the button to undock and we escape the clutches of the monster chasing us. "At least now we know we have more foes."

"At least now we know to trust no one but ourselves. For all we know we might have a mole with us, I'd keep my guard up if I were you."

Elise's P.O.V.

"Not now dad. I'm busy."

"Elise, I just want to know that you're okay cooped up in your room all day."

"Yes I'm fine now leave." It felt bad to be this rude to my father but I need concentration on to what Kreis was talking about when she said something about an author sending me back to my room. I've been reading book after book just to figure out something about an author but I can't find anything.

Nothing seems to adding up but I feel like there's something to all of this that is so simple but I'm overlooking something. JJ always said everything within the same genre has at least one thing in common sometimes you just have to figure out what that one thing is.

I re-read all of the books we have on the ship but nothing new comes up so I throw the book into the wall in a sight of frustration knocking down one of the rest of the books creating a domino effect in my room, the scary part was that they were telling me something.

The last book to fall caught my eye on something, the title was small but where the author wrote their name was huge. Than it hit me, I gathered all of the books and started looking at the covers of them and they all had one thing in common. They were all written by an... author. 

Oh. My. Goodness. Elise is slowly putting the pieces together. Anyways guys this book is almost at the good part, where the final battle takes place, forgive me for not writing much school has been rough so there's that but I'm getting through it. See you guys next time.
