So this is a little summary of what happened, ok? Ok.

So after Arie's radars go boop boop, Brynn blows off a door with her bare hands and they both check outside for the two intruders. Brynn shoots the wind, (Because she doesn't know how to fight (and fuck the wind)) and ends up being pinned to the wall by Gerrard. He was that guy from the prologue, remember? The pussy that ran from the Ironwrights? Yeah, that guy.

Anyway, he's here to warn Brynn about the psycho sisters that are on their way. He says that he's not here to hurt him, and he also pinky swears to it.!She wants to believe him, but doesn't know if he's lying cause she's been away from people for so long. Anyway, she ends up deciding to trust him and leave, packing her stuff. She also surprises Robo wyfu with a pair of wings, a pair that will eventually lead to her Robo wyfu death.

Well, after winging it, Arie brings up the fact of her sensing two people. Then they all realize that he was followed.

Ok, ima stop right here. I actually do have something to say about this chapter.

So Gerrard is an assassin. And a damn good one at that. He has hinted that he is better then the sisters, yet he still gets his ass followed.

I mean, it's not the sisters even have to follow him in the first place. If Gerrard got Brynn's address, then I'd be dammed if psycho bitch didn't get it as well.

And even if they HAD to follow Gerrard, then something still doesn't add up.

Wouldn't Arie have picked up three different heat signatures???

So when it comes down to it, either Gerrard is a fucking dumbass that actually didn't realize he was being followed, or Arie's scan thing covers a shit ton of area but is fucking broke. Point is, this makes no sense. I rest my case.

Back to the story.

So when everyone had that "o shit he was followed" moment, the two bust in the place. Brynn get one hit on em, and Gerrard and Arie cary the team. After getting stabbed and burned a few times, Gerrard tells the ladies to go, and they go. Fin.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not mad with this chapter. I love the whole damn story. But all I can really do is summarize it. No background or lore or little hints of the future. Well, Brynn did say that she sure wasn't going to fight to the death with him yet. So sure, a little hint at the future. Kind of.
