I just wanted to thank all of you for your support, and I'm sorry for not updating this in a while. I've had this giant brain fart, and no ideas wanted to come to me. But, now I have your update for those of you who for some reason like my story.
(P.S: The photos are going to have nothing to do with the chapter, they are there just because.)

"La la la, la laaaaaa!"

You could hear Renegade as he was running through the night. He just finished removing all the tracers and mics on his persona, so he was enjoying his freedom. But he knew, he would have to return to Deathstroke, his 'Master'.

He was sitting on the rooftop of a tall building, when he heard it.

"REEEENNNEEGGGGAAADDDDEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

With a snicker, Renegade said "Batman." And then laughed some more, his laugh turning into his signature crackle. That man always seemed to put a smile on Renegades face, even if he was supposed to be scary. It was just something about that cowled man that made Renegade happy.

His thought turned back to Deathstroke, causing him to scowl.

He knew he was going to be severely punished when he returned, and the longer he took to get back, the worse his punishment would be. He shivered at the thought of that metal table. With a resigned sigh, he stood up and stretched a bit. Then he was off, off to return to his Master.

Batman growled when he discovered that Renegade had removed all of his tracers and mics. He then turned to give everything in the Caves living room a bat glare, showing that he was quite unhappy at the moment (But then again, when is Batsy ever happy?). Then he glared even harder at Superman and Superboy. Both of them winced a bit when they saw the dark glare being directed on them. With a heavy sigh, Batman spoke. "I can't track him, so we're going to have to search. Everyone head to their city and look around for him, we'll meet up here." The others nodded stiffly and were gone as quickly as possible. Once the zeta beams announced their departure, Batman gave another tired sigh. He knew it was going to be difficult to find the little assassin, but that doesn't mean he won't try.

Once Batman zeta beamed himself to Gotham, he grappled to the top of Wayne Enterprises. He took a deep breath, and then shouted with all his might.

"REEEENNNEEGGGGAAADDDDEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

After a couple seconds, he heard an almost silent laughter. He immediately started trying to pinpoint which direction it came from, but the echoing and the fact that it was almost silent made that impossible. He knew what he had to do now, and he knew he might end up regretting it later. But it had to be done.

He listened intently to what Superman and Flash were telling him as they continued searching throughout Gotham. When they both told the Bat that there was no sign of Renegade, he realized that the boy was probably on his way back to Slade. He still could not believe that a child who looked no older then 12 could be such a mans apprentice. Batman had this feeling that he knew the boy from somewhere, but he just couldn't remember where. With another sigh, he seemed to be sighing a lot lately, he told the others to call of the search. His exact words were "Search is over, we're not going to find Renegade any time soon. So, get out of my city. Now." The others knew better then to wait around, so they started to leave. But Superman hesitated for a bit, before he was almost hit with a batarang. Then he flew out of there real quick, before Batman (I wrote Barman on accident XD) could do anything to him.

When Batman returned to his cave, he when up to his computer and took a seat in the giant chair. Alfred suddenly appeared behind him with a cup of coffee and looked at him. "Tough day sir?" Batman, now Bruce Wayne, looked at him and gratefully took the coffee. "Oh, you have no idea Alfred."

The Team had returned to the cave along with the rest of the Leaguers. With some convincing, they had been allowed to stay the night and were now all the in the living room, with the League long gone home. Now they were all conversing about Renegade and where he might have gone.

"He may have gone back to Slade, remember he did say he was Slade's apprentice."

Everyone looked at Wally once he said that, they may have been a little shocked at how what Wally said might actually be right. "Wow Baywatch, did you actually grow a brain?" Artemis looked at him with shock evident on her face. Wally then turned to her and pouted. "I do have good ideas time to time, ya know." Artemis snorted at that, her face slightly disbelieving. "Guys, please don't fight now. How about I make some cookies for us all?" M'gann pleaded. Conner gave a grunt in response while Kaldur looked at them all and sighed. He felt that feeling that something was missing even more now then he ever had before. The others, though they didn't mention it, felt the feeling as well. It felt like there was supposed to be someone else there, throwing a joke or a pun at them, and disappear from the room with a crackle. M'gann then looked at them and almost silently asked "Do you guys feel that? That feels that somethings missing?" The Team looked at her and nodded, all questioning why the feeling was there.

Surprisingly, it was Conner who broke the silence.
"Let's just head to the kitchen."

The others all said their agreement, and so they started off toward the kitchen. When they got there, M'gann quickly began making her cookies while the others continued their conversation.

"So, if Renegade returned to Slade, then that means that where ever Slade is, Renegade is." Artemis stated. "But that means we're trying to find where a master assassin, and a league level villain, is hiding. Not an easy feat." Wally told her. "So we must find Slade, with the leagues help or without it." Aqualad added in. "So, find all the assassiny places you can, then search them. Simple." Conner told them. Artemis gave him a fierce glare and then muttered angrily, finally telling him "It's not that easy, Slade is a crafty and dangerous man. You can never under estimate him, if you do, then your going to end up dead. He's probably found a really secretive spot, where it's going to be extremely difficult to find him." The others looked at her oddly, wondering how she knew that, but decided not to question it at the moment.

There was a ding and then M'gann came over, cookie tray in the air beside her. "They're a little bit burnt, I hope that's okay." Aqualad smiled at her softly and told her "It is fine, M'gann. It was generous of you to make them anyway." M'gann looked at him gratefully and then levitated the still hot tray of cookies on the table. Wally instantly grabbed for one, but pulled his hand back with a shout of "Ouch! They're still really hot!" Artemis glared at him, saying slightly loudly "No duh, she just pulled them out the oven! Of course they're still hot!"
