The Beginning

A dark cloud hung over one's head like a storm of dark thoughts, making everyone who saw him concerned. He trudged through the snow as he kept his hands inside his coat pockets for warmth. Normally if the residents of snowdin saw someone who looks like a human walking around outside they'd be a bit confused.

These townsfolk are used to this man however, afterall, he lives there along with them. He walks past a familiar house with one mailbox being clean and kept, yet the other being stuffed past the brim with unread mail. He just sighs and keeps walking until he reaches the doorstep of what appears to be his home.

Before he can even touch the doorknob, the door flies open and a cheery voice rings out, "Welcome home Brother!"

His eyes would meet the owner of the voice, his black eyes meeting her brown. This was his sister, "Hello Ginger, it's good to see you again as well."

She'd usher him inside while he unloads the bags he had in his coat onto the table in the kitchen, whilst she'd sit on the nearby living room couch.

"So, did you get us all something?" Another voice would ask as the black haired male would turn around to see a woman with brown hair, similar to Ginger's, but was quite a bit longer. Her brown hair went down to the middle of her back, unlike Ginger's who's stayed at the back of her neck.

"Yes Toma, I did get something for everyone. I promised, didn't I?" The black haired male would respond before Toma would show a warm smile.
The man would hand Toma a brown bag containing some type of Chocolate before walking into the living room and leaning over the couch to hand Ginger a soft drink of some sort in a red can. She'd smile and thank her brother while he'd nod in response, happy to help his family.

"Don't think I forgot you, Fernel!" The male would shout to his younger Brother who seemed to be upstairs, so he walked over the set of stairs by the backdoor and headed upstairs. Three rooms 3 rooms were present in the upstairs. The room on the left was shared by Ginger and Toma, while the one on the far right was shared by The man and Fernel. The middle room was a bathroom they all shared, it was quite messy.

The door on the right clicked open and out walked a brown haired male, only a bit shorter than the black haired male who he groggily looked at as rubbed his eyes.

"Thanks bro" the brown haired boy would say as he took the medicine in the older brothers hand while he would examine the bottle to make sure it was what he needed.

"Your welcome Fernel, now maybe you can get some sleep." The man would answer as Fernel would only shrug and start walking back to their room. "Night, Sorin." Fernel would say before he retreated back into the room, closing the door after himself.

Sorin would only sigh before saying "It's morning." The male would then walk back down the stairs only to return to Ginger getting ready to go outside while Toma was sitting on the Couch, watching TV.

'Right, she's going on patrol for humans with Papyrus today. Maybe me and Sans can find something to do together. Perhaps we can say more knock knock jokes to the lady behind the door.'

Sorin's thoughts were interrupted by Ginger announcing she was ready to go with a bundle of cheer in her voice. So Sorin opened the door for her while he adjusted his coat and then they were off, he closed the door behind them and they walked next door to go meet up with the Skeleton Brothers.

Once they arrived on the doorstep, the duo rung the bell and the door was swung open by a tall skeleton wearing white and red armor.

"GREETINGS FRIEND GINGER!" He announced loudly as Sorin winced, this was definitely him.

"Greetings Papyrus! Shall we depart and begin our search?" Ginger questioned with enthusiasm as she absorbed some of the positive energy in Papyrus's attitude.

"WE SHALL! COME ON SANS YOU LAZY BONES!!" Papyrus shouted before he and Ginger raced off towards the forest of snowdin. Not even a few seconds later, a short skeleton in a blue jacket, basketball shorts, and pink slippers walked up to the door way before combing his non-existent hair with a comb he got out of seemingly nowhere.

"So, how do I look?" He grinned as he did a small spin in place for a full 360 view. Sorin deadpanned before saying "You look as lazy as usual, now let's get a move on." And so they were off, discussing different topics of what they should so as they traveled down the path into Snowdin forest.
