The looks, the note, the chant, the dagger, the tattoo on your left hand! It's all starting to come together NOW!!!!!" He yelled.

"Huh?!" We all shouted in confusion as Crowley raised his head up and walked over his desk where he puts his hands on my shoulders.

"Gloriane, you're not just a beast tamer. YOU, are the reincarnation of Mother Gothel!" He announced.

"Eh?! The Reincarnation of Mother Gothel?!" I shrilled looking dumbfounded where this night gets really unexpected.
———————————

"Mother Gothel...Mother Go-! Oh DAMN! I finally realized what you mean by that! My grandma read me story about her one time!" Ace finally realized.

"Now that I think about it, you do look like her and you have the same power as her!" Deuce exclaimed.

"Nggh?! Who's Mother Gothel anyway?!" Grim asked still confused. I grip my hands tightly while still conflicted.

"Gothel is a wicked crone who hides a flower that was born from the sun's dew that keeps her young whenever she sings a chant. But that all changes when the flower was found by one of the royal guards and was given to the queen of Corona so she wouldn't die from childbirth. Afterwards, the magical flower's power was now in the queen's daughter, but Gothel was desperate of keeping her youth, so she abducted her and kept her in a hidden tower for 18 years where she taught her how to sing, so she can keep her youth. But that doesn't mean she wasn't a good mother..." I explained making Grim slightly quiver.

"Wha-What did she do to her?" He stuttered. I clenched my fists while reminiscing the scenes I watched and the dreams I had as I furrow my brows.

"...She spent the following years raising Rapunzel as she daughter by implanting fear where Gothel describes to the world to her as a 'frightening, dull, selfish, cruel, and unforgiving world'." I informed with a serious tone.

"S-Scary! B-But why can't she just cut a piece of her hair? That wouldn't be too bad right?!" Grim questions.

"Tch that's what you think, by the time she cuts her hair, that sundrop power that she has wears off. That old hag had no choice, but to take her in to that gross looking tower." Ace shook his head while explaining the whole story of Gothel.

"But that happened centuries ago. Isn't she dead?" Deuce asked.

"She is. Gothel vanished into thin air after she fell out of the tower when a thief that rescued her cuts the princess's magical hair off which kept her alive for centuries. When she fell, she turned into a pile of dust instantly because of her great age." I explained.

"Whoa, that's just cold!" Grim gasped.

"Eh, she had it coming. Besides, no child should ever be put through that kind of suffering. I get her reason, but that's not an excuse." I retorted.

That I can agree on Sundrop.

"Huh?"

"Eep!"

"What the-"

"Who's there?" Deuce asked becoming defensive. That's when a small figure in a wizard outfit carrying a large staff floating in clouds appeared from the corner of Crowley's office causing all of us to freak out.

"M-Merlin?!" Crowley yelped.

"Waaaah! Who are you?!" Grim shrilled as he hop on to my arms and shivered by his sudden appearance.

"Ack! IT'S A MIDGET ELF!" Ace shrieked, but he ends up receiving a harsh bonk in the head from the tiny floating wizard.

"You'd be wise to watch your tongue young man because we prefer not use the "M" word here." The small elderly man warned.

"Why am I always getting hit?" Ace shook his head in annoyance causing Deuce and I to sweat drop at the whole situation.

"Umm am I hearing clearly? Did you just mentioned 'Merlin' as in the wizard that helped Arthur with his quests?" I asked curiously.

"Aah yes, yes, that's correct Sundrop, but now I'm a nurse at the infirmary in Night Raven College." The small elderly wizard replied.

"Merlin, you knew about this!?" Crowley shouted.

"Ho, ho, ho, Dire you silly buffoon. You've never failed to crack me up, but yes, I've been watching you this entire time Sundrop." He admitted.

"Eh?...But why and why calling me Sundrop?" I asked confusingly as Merlin floats his way to me with a grin underneath his bushy mustache.

"You've possessed healing powers just like your ancestor and you glow like a Sundrop, so that's why I called you that. Furthermore, I watched you from my crystal ball and from what I've seen, you've have potential." He assured.

"But I'm not anything like Gothel! I'm not an evil person like her!" I retaliated.

"True, but you do possess some light inside of your soul and I'm glad that you received your belongings, my letter and the dagger that I gave you." He informed causing me to widen my eyes.

"Wait, YOU'RE the one who send those two things and my stuff last night!?" I shrilled in shock making the little elderly man chuckle.

"Ho, ho, ho! Indeed I am madame." He smiled.

" *sighs* always the devious one aren't you Merlin?" Crowley shook his head with a sigh as Merlin chuckled softly.

"You know me too well Dire." Merlin replied. Crowley pinches his forehead before glancing back at me.

"Well, I do have to admit. You've definitely unlock your power and not only you're some kind of beast tamer, but you also have a talent of healing others." He said making me completely shook.

"Wait, I CAN HEAL OTHERS TOO???" I asked dumbfounded.

"Indeed, but like I said before, you need extra training in order to control your powers." Merlin concurs.

"Damn, so you can tame monsters and heal people? You sure are full of surprises." Ace smirked.

"But I haven't healed anyone, I only tamed a monster just now!" I restated.

"Maybe not, but you will be eventually once I trained you." Merlin assured.

"Everyone in the Night Raven College are all talented students who would become great magicians chosen by the mirror of darkness. But because of their talents, their pride is high, and so are their ego." Crowley explains.

"Like Ace?" I pointed my thumb at him.

"Hey!" He yelled glaring at me causing Grim and Deuce to burst out of laughter.

"I mean, she's not wrong about that!" Grim cackled.

"God...I-I shouldn't be laughing, but-! Pfft!!" Deuce muffled into a chuckle.

"Shut up you two!" He barked glaring at both of them as a red vein throbs from his head.

"Well....sorta like him, but there a lot of those who are self-centered who holds no thought of working with another at all." Crowley stated.

"Almost all the things he said aren't nice you know. Ya know." Grim said with an unimpressed face.

"Well that's Dire for you alright, he holds nothing back with his words." Merlin reassured shrugging his shoulders.

"You unlock your power, yet you still need training. Usually when students like you possess such extraordinary power, they would go to Royal Swords Academy." Crowley informed.

"ROYAL SWORDS ACADEMY?!" Deuce and Ace shouted with their faces filled with shock expressions.

"THERE'S ANOTHER SCHOOL IN THIS DAMN WORLD?!" I shrilled with my eyes widened.

"EEEHHHH??? ROYAL SWORDS ACADEMY?!" Grim screamed in shock.

"Yes there is, except you have a dagger that transforms into a sword, but for you to summoned here by the Mirror of Darkness and be selected in Night Raven College is quite the interesting turn of events. Since you unlock your powers, you'll make a valuable source here in Night Raven College." Merlin added.

"Perhaps your right Merlin. In fact, the Mirror of Darkness was right about you possess such amazing power. Since you unlock your power, not only you were able to bring those who can use magic to work together just like this, but you can also heal those who are injured or in distressed. That's why a combatant healer like you was what this school needed!" Crowley suggested.

"He's totally not saying anything nice?!" Ace shouted looking dumbfounded.

"Wait, are saying..."

"Miss Corbett. You surely will be an important person that will be needed from this school, but for now, please refrain from utilizing your power extraneously since you're still inexperienced with this power you possess. So I suggest you not to strain yourself." He advised as I nod my head.

"I'll do my best Mr. Crowley." I replied while still wary about my newfound power. Then he turns back to the boys.

"Now back you men. As the headmaster of Night Raven College, I hear by declare Trappola, Spade to withdrawn you two from being expelled." He declared much to the boys' happiness.

"Yes!" Ace rejoiced.

"Thank goodness..." Deuce sighs in relief.

"As for you Gloriane, I will give you the rights to attend to this school as a student!" He announced with a proud smile.

"Eh?!" The three gasped.

"Are you serious?!" I asked with a surprised expression.

"Yes. Besides, I, myself, am super kind." He said.

"OMG thank you so much Crowley!" I thanked him with a super joyful expression.

"Although one condition." He added.

"And that is?" I asked curiously.

"Your powers may have unlocked, but you're still inexperienced with this newfound power of yours. Which is exactly why I'm putting you in training with Merlin, so you'll able to control it." Crowley advised.

"And I'll be there in the infirmary every morning and afternoon, so I recommend you to meet me early morning and after lunch." He informed.

"I'm not gonna grow long-ass hair like Rapunzel aren't I?" I asked skeptically.

"Definitely not." Merlin replied making me sigh in relief since the thought of me carrying my long ass hair around campus 24/7 sounds exhausting.

"Thank god, but what about classes?" I asked.

"You can attend your classes, but be sure to arrive at the infirmary on time. However, you must not tell anyone about our secret meeting, understood?" He reminded as I nodded with joy.

"I will! Thank you!" I chirped with a smile. Then Merlin turns to Ace, Deuce, and Grim.

"That also includes you three whippersnappers, understood?" Merlin reminded them sending a death to them making the one-brain cell trip flinched and nodded at him.

"Y-Yes sir!" They complied while shaking a bit. Merlin smiled joyfully.

"That's exactly I wanted to hear from you two. Remember your promises." He reminded. Soon after that, Crowley turns to Grim.

"So Grim, today you've proved to me that you have enough talent to be a magician. And so, becoming a 2 as 1 student with Gloriane, I'll approve of your enrollment in Night Raven College!" Crowley declared.

"I...I can finally attend this school....? Not handymen but as a student?" Grim asked with a ecstatic tone.

"Yes, but then! You better not make a ruckus like yesterday understand?"

"Funa...funaaah...Glory...I-"

I giggled with a grin and patted his head.

"Welp you got your wish, so how does it feel?" I asked.

"Funaaaaaagggh!! I did it, ya know!" Grim cheered.

"Now, as proof that you are a student of the Night Raven College, I will give you this magic stone to you, Grim." Crowley then summon a collar that has a purple jewel in the middle shocking the little raccoon cat.

"Whoa, a magic stone?!" Grim shrilled.

"Normally, students will use a "Magical Pen" that has a magic stone, but I'm sure you won't be able to hold it with those paws of yours. It's specially custom made. Ohh...what a detailed proof of care! Aren't I too kind?" He smiled.

"Oh yes, we're quite aware since you've mentioned that multiple times already." Merlin restated rolling his eyes.

"I did it, ya know! It's so cool, ya know! My very own magic stone collar, ya know~!" Grim gushed nonstop.

"He's not listening to me at all...." Crowley muttered.

"Nope, definitely not." I sighed with shrug.

"And this is the reason why I am not a cat person." Merlin stated making Grim flinched and spun to Merlin with a scowl.

"I am not a cat you old midget crone!" Grim retorted and as a result, he ended up receiving a 'Merlin-staff-chop' from the tiny wizard himself.

"Like I said a minute ago, we don't use the 'M' word in this school, got it?" Merlin warned with a red vein throbbing from his head.

"Oww..." He whimpered while rubbing his small head.

"Ahem, moving on. Gloriane. As you can, see Grim is still not used to society of people. So I decide to have you supervise him as well, and make sure he does not cause any ruckus during his time here." He instructed.

"Oh don't worry, I won't let you down this time and I'll make sure this little demon stays his place." I replied as I glance at Grim with a threatening grin that screams "you better behave yourself this time" causing him to flinched.

"Y-Yeah...sure..." He stuttered frightened by my menacing grin.

"Aha! That's amazing. Not only you're being trained to be a healer, but you just enrolled in school and now your a supervising-student!" Ace cheered.

"I see. You two are the only ones in your dorm. That's why you, who are chosen to be Merlin's student and supervise Grim according to the headmaster, will become the supervising-students." Deuce stated with an intriguing smile.

"Pfft...Maybe this has never happened before? A supervisor that wields a dagger that turns a badass sword and heals people. Nice, it's cool. A supervising student who can beat monsters and heals people." Ace complimented. I stroke my head with a small grin letting out a soft giggle.

"I'm still new to this type of power, but...I'll do my best!" I chirped and spun to Merlin as I bow my head to my chosen tutor.

"And I'm looking forward of meeting you tomorrow. I'll do whatever I can to learn from you, so I could be stronger and smarter. You have my word." I reassured him as he grinned back.

"Same here, my sundrop student. I'll be looking forward of teaching you how to control your powers as well as protecting you from harm." He informed as I nod.

"Thank you." I replied kindly.

"Aha, can't wait to see what you have in store for us, supervising-healer!" Ace chuckled.

"Now, it's already late, so I'll talk to you about more of it tomorrow. In the meantime, I'd advise your all to go back to your dorm and get some rest." He instructed as we all nod.

"Well, excuse us." Deuce stated.

"Thank you very much, goodnight Merlin. See you tomorrow." I waved.

"Sleep well Sundrop, and remember: come to the infirmary room early morning." He reminded and I nod.

"Of course, bye." I stated as we all left Crowley's office.
——————————————

While we strolled through the halls, I couldn't ignore the back of my head where I kept on looking back at the ominous presence that I felt back in the forest.

I wonder who was following me while on our way back?...but I wonder what the others think about this?

I pondered as I glance up at the three who are discussing about this exhausted ordeal that we've been through.

"Haaaaaaah....My stamina's ran out......I don't have any more energy..." Ace sighed looking very exhausted.

"Good grief." Deuce sighs shaking his head.

"La lala~ I'm going to be a student of the Night Raven College too tomorrow, ya know! I'm going to beat you all and become a top student, ya know~~!" Grim marveled as I snickered and rolled my eyes at his usual cockiness.

"You're saying a lot even though you're a 2 in 1 student with Glor, but yeah, good for you, Huh?" Ace stated.

"We're classmates tomorrow, supervisor, Grim." Deuce restated.

"Hehe...yeah...." I awkwardly replied while still looking troubled. Unluckily, Deuce, Ace, and Grim noticed something's up with me.

"Something the matter?" Ace asked causing me to flinch a little.

"Well...don't laugh me when I say this but....do you guys see me as Gothel?" I asked curiously while staring down at the floor dreading the fact that I'm Gothel's reincarnation. However, their reactions were unexpected when Ace approach me to flick my forehead.

"Ow!"

"Don't say stupid stuff will ya, it's embarrassing. Gothel's blood or not, you're still cool in our book." Ace bluntly assured. I blinked my eyes at his compliment.

"Ace...."

"Yeah, I don't care who this 'Gothel' person is, but I bet she's not as good as you and you are ten times better than her! Besides, you're the best henchman I ever have and you definitely kicked that monster's ass!" Grim complimented making me giggle at his slightly cocky but genuine statement.

"Jesus..so egotistical, but I'll take the compliment this time." I said with a small grin.

"They're right you know. You may have the same resemblance of Gothel, but that doesn't mean you're evil like her." Deuce agreed as he walks up to me and holds my shoulders.

"You're you, Glory-san, that power you possess belongs to you now. You are your own individual. You can decide who you wanna be, what goals you wanna chase, and most importantly what power would you use it for. So don't talk yourself down like that Glory-san because no matter what, we'll always be there." Deuce reassured with a genuine smile. Touched by his kind words, I smiled warmly.

"Thanks Deuce, you too Ace." I thanked them.

"Yeah, yeah, just stop crying will ya?" Ace joked making me giggle.

"I'm not even crying you doofus!" I giggled.

"Now there's that stupid smile we all know." Ace grinned.

"Call me 'stupid' again and I'll make sure you won't see the light." I threatened with a glare while grinning causing him to flinch and back away a bit.

"Jeez, I was just exaggerating, damn!" He retorted making me laugh at his face. Deuce chuckled as well.

"Pfft, that's true. Even if we don't want to, we're going to keep on seeing each other everyday." Deuce implied.

"Oh yeah. That's right, aren't you guys in Heartslabyul dorm?" I asked curiously.

"Sadly yes, I guess I'm in the same dorm with this jerk." He shook his head with a shrug.

"Thinking about seeing your serious mug everyday, no thanks." Ace joked.

"That's my line, truant Ace." Deuce frown.

"Sure, sure, Almost-expelled-crybaby Deuce." Ace teased. I snicker and roll my eyes at their banter.

So typical of them.

I thought with a grin while shaking my head at them. I glance back at them where Ace shoots me with a genuine smile.

"Alrighty, see you tomorrow, supervisor healer." Ace waved. As me and Grim watched them leave, I grin at the unlikely duo.

"They sure made a good combo, don't you agree Grim?" I turned Grim who is on my right shoulder.

"They certainly do. They're the 'fight because they're so close type'." Grim stayed and I giggled at the name.

"Accurate description of them." I complimented with Grim nod at my reply.

"We better get back to the dorm, because tomorrow we're no longer handymen..."

Grim then jumps down to do his a victory pose.

"WE ARE NOW MAGICIAN AND HEALER!" Grim cheered as I giggled at his cute victory pose.

"Finally...FINALLY. Our bright and shiny academy life at Night Raven College begins!" He marveled as he turns to me with a huge grin.

"Come on henchman, let's get some rest!" Grim ordered as I roll my eyes with a grin and shrug my shoulders.

"Well do Great Grim." I casually replied as we both left the campus and head straight to the Ramshackle dorm.
————————————————

While Grim asleep, I sat down on my desk writing a second entry in my journal.

Dear mom and dad,

Today has been hectic. I got insulted by a obnoxious jerk that was name after a deck of card, caught between in a cross fire between Grim and that troublemaker, then a boy with blue was caught into our chaotic antics, then those two idiots broke the chandelier in the cafeteria, and later we got ourselves in a sticky situation when we all travel to the Dwarf's Mine where we work together as a team to defeat that vile monster so we could get the crystal. Most importantly, I just found out that I'm Mother Gothel's reincarnation. Crazy right? I even have healing powers like Rapunzel and Gothel! That definitely caught me by surprise! I always thought I was human. Sure I may look like her, but I'm definitely not like her at all. We're not the same! But don't worry about that, I'm being trained under a tiny wizard named Merlin so I can control my awaken power.

It was a huge pain in the ass, but I got big news for you. ME AND GRIM ARE ATTENDING TO NIGHT RAVEN COLLEGE! YASSS! I have to admit, it was pretty insane day for us, but I did made two new friends today. Their names are Ace and Deuce. Yup, the same two guys that I've just talked about. At first, Ace was a jerk when I first met him at the Main Street, but as the day goes by, he's actually a pretty cool dude. Deuce on the other hand, he was pretty reserved and relaxed when I first met him, but he caught me by surprise when he unleashed his 'bad boy' mode. Despite that, he's a sweet and caring guy deep down. Overall, this is a crazy yet fun day for me, but hopefully tomorrow will get better. Love you both!

Love, your awesome shining daughter,
Gloriane Corbett.

After finishing my second entry, I let out a sigh and close my journal. Once I place the journal in the drawer, I glance at the night sky to see no tears gleaming in the night. Such a disappointment, but maybe next time.

I shrug my shoulders and head straight to bed where my day in Twisted Wonderland has just begun....

Sorry for the hiatus, I was fixing up the prologue this morning and afternoon. I hope you guys are safe inside your homes and I'll see you guys in the next chapter bye!
