"Hey hey! No standing in the middle of the road, move move!" Ruggie shouts as he runs while carrying a bunch of suitcases.

"Ruggie hi!" Glory chirps happy to see the little hyena.

"Sup kitten." He cheerily beams.

"Bucchi...Why do you have so much!? You've got a backpack and three duffle bags..." Deuce utters with widened eyes.

"Plus a giant cooler." Glory finishes his sentence.

"You mean all this? Shishishi. I got all the food that was about to expire from the cafeteria and school store. Right before long breaks like this I can get it all for free." Ruggie cheers with his ears perk up.

"What? There's no way you can go through all that." Ace states in disbelief.

"What're you talking about? Once I get home and pass this out to all the neighborhood street rats, it'll be gone in no time." He explains and Glory smiles softly at him.

"It's really sweet of you, Ruggie." Glory compliments and he grins back.

"Thanks. I've gotta make sure my grandma can eat her fill over the holidays. Oops, the frozen stuff's gonna melt. See y'all next year!" Ruggie chirps.

"Oh wait, Ruggie." Glory halts.

"Hm?" As soon as the small hyena spun around with a puzzled look, Glory pulls out small tan colored present with hyena prints wrapped around with a white ribbon from her backpack and give it to Ruggie.

***Ruggie's gift^***

"This is for you, Ruggie. Don't open it until Christmas." She reminds him. Ruggie blinks his eyes when she pulls out a present for him. He never had someone giving him a gift before due to his poor background, but this is quite new to him. Touched by her generous gift, Ruggie smiles warmly and grabs the gift with his tail wagging as he glance up at Glory.

"Thanks Kitten! I'll definitely keep this for sure!" He chirps with a big grin and Glory giggles with a smile while Deuce and Ace felt a sting in their chests when seeing Ruggie and Glory exchanging smiles to one another.

"You're welcome! Be safe out there and I'll send my prayers to you and your family!" Glory chirps shocking the hyena deeply when she shows care for him as he blushes a bit, but grins nevertheless.

"Thanks! Have fun with Raps and the others! See you!" Ruggie cheers.

And off he goes as he scampers to the mirror with belongings leaving Glory, Grim, Deuce, and Ace behind.

"There he goes...I wonder what he meant by "neighborhood street rats"?..." Deuce mutters and Glory grins softly at him.

"Everyone has hardships that they endured, but I don't blame him. Nobody likes being poor and it's very sweet of him to do this for his family." Glory stated.

"Have you seen people who are poor like Ruggie-senpai back in your world, Glory-san?" Deuce ask curiously and she nods.

"Just a few. My mom gave a homeless elderly lady a bouquet of irises and gladioluses for her grandson when she came to her shop last year. It was disheartening to see, but I hope he and his family are ok." She assumes as her grey eyes glimmer with hope as Grim, Ace and Deuce feel sympathy and agreed with her.

"He will."

"Hm?"

Soon the trio spun their heads to hear footsteps and saw Jack strolling towards them.

"There are many families stuck in poverty in Ruggie's hometown. So during these long holidays, he brings back as much food as he can so the neighborhood kids can eat." Jack explains and the ravenette nods at him.

"That makes sense." Glory agrees with grey eyes gleam with sympathy written in her face until her eyes caught at a bunch of cacti that he's holding. She lets out a gasp and smiles widely when Glory dashes up to him.

"Oh my goodness! What beautiful cacti you have! Did you grew these yourself?" Glory chirps with eyes sparkle in pure joy admiring the cacti as the wolf blushes a little before letting out a soft nod.

"Aaaahh these look so gorgeous! Can I take a picture?" Glory ask curiously with a grin as the wolf blink his eyes before averting his gaze away from her.

"...Do whatever you want." Jack mutters while blushing.

"Thanks!" Glory chirps as she pulls out phone from her backpack and takes a picture of the cacti he's holding. Afterwards, she gazes at the photo with a smile.

"Perfect! Thank you so much Jack!" Glory thanked him beaming the tall wolf with a bright smile.

"Umm...sure.." He utters stroking his head feeling flustered with his ears droop in timidity.

"Jack...Why are your hands full of potted plants? Are you gonna become a gardener?" Ace ask curiously as Jack shifts his eyes to Ace and Deuce.

"These are the cacti I grow for fun. They'd wilt if nobody watered them over the break. ...Never mind!" Jack utters shifting his head away with a blush crept from his cheeks.

"I never expected Ruggie to be the type to share his food with others. He's a pretty good guy." Grim compliments.

"Hyenas are the sort to share prey with the weak or sick without discrimination. I'm sure raised like that too." Jack assumes and Glory nods to agree with him.

Just like in the movie Lion King....

Glory thought remembering scenes of the hyenas where they were mistreated by the animals from the Prides Lands especially the royal lions themselves. Plus, hyenas and lions are one of her favorite animals besides Octopi and eels along with wolves and peacocks.

"I'm sure Ruggie was raised like that too." Grim chirps.

"Same goes for me. Leona mentioned his background back in the Magift Tournament and last week at the savanaclaw dorm. I would say, it was quite rough for him to go through." Glory sympathizes, but soon remembers something.

"Oh right, Jack I got something something for you!" Glory chirps.

"Hm?" Jack looked puzzled as he watches Glory pull something out of her bag until she reveals a yellow present with wolf paw prints wrapped with a red ribbon.

"Here's a gift a for you, Jack. It's my way of saying thank you for inviting me to hang with you at the track and field club yesterday and offering me to stay at your dorm a few weeks back. Don't open it till Christmas, Kay?" Glory reminds him. Jack stood silently as he grabs the present while averting his eyes and a blush crept from his cheeks.

"...Y-You don't have to do this for me, but..." Jack stutters while blushing before he could finished his sentence.

"...Thanks." He mutters as his tail is wagging happily while hiding his smile under the ribbon. Soon footsteps have appeared.

"Hmph. Just thinking about handling out food to a bunch of brats makes my skin crawl. Just one is more than annoying." Leona grumbles.

"Hey Leona." Glory greets him.

"Oh, Leona...are you not going home?" Jack ask curiously.

"If only. But if I don't I'll never hear the end of it, so I'm going home." Leona told him as he lets out a sigh.

"...What a pain." He grumbles.

"Are you going home without bringing anything from your dorm? Don't you need clothes?" Glory ask curiously.

"Huh? I'm fine with just my wallet and smartphone. I've got plenty of clothes at home." Leona assures.

"This guy is other extreme." Grim snarks.

"He's not even bringing his homework with him...." Ace mumbles.

"Homework can be done right as the holiday ends. My job over break is to rest. Also why are you guys holding presents?" Leona ask curiously.

"Glory-san, gave us presents before we head home." Deuce explains to him.

"Yup." Ace firmly nods as he wraps an arm around with a sh#t-eating grin.

"And she's a total angel!~" Ace marvels. Glory chortles softly before pinching his cheek.

"Ow!" He winces.

"An angel that could bite back any second, so I would advises to unwrap your arm around me if you don't want me to flip you over." Glory warns him.

"Yeah ok! I'll stop! Sorry!" Ace shrieks and did what she told him as he rubs his cheek.

"You're so mean, Glor." Ace mutters with a pout while rubbing his cheek as Deuce and Grim snicker and Jack sighs with Glory rolling her eyes and turns back to Leona.

"Anyways, I got you and Cheka gifts too." She said.

"For me?" Leona curls his brows as he watches Glory pulls out two gifts from her bag where it contains a white present with yellow lion prints wrapped around in yellow ribbon and a white present with black lion paw prints wrapped in a golden ribbon.

"This is my way of saying thank you for the flower that you gave me yesterday and for letting me stay at your dorm few weeks ago." She expresses before smiling warmly at him.

"Remember not to open it until Christmas, Kay? And be sure to tell Cheka about that." Glory reminds him and Leona nods firmly and grabs two gifts.

"Thanks Lioness." He casually replies and pats her head triggering the envy of Ace and Deuce while Jack is suppressing his jealousy. Glory giggles and smiled gently at him.

"No problem. Have a nice holiday." Glory assures smiling sweetly at him and he nods.

"You too." Leona informs. Then he turns to her friends.

"See ya, herbivores." Leona nonchalantly said as he walked off hiding a small smile as soon as he turns his head away.

"He could do anything he wanted if he actually applied himself so why does he always laze around?...." Jack mumbles.

"He maybe lazy, but he's quite chill to hang out with once you get to know him more." Glory reassures making the Deuce and Ace curl their brows at her.

"You're only saying that cuz Leona has a soft spot for you." Grim snarks.

"Cuz he drinks respect women juice, Grim." Glory reassures him.

"Respect women juice?" Deuce mutters tilting his head with a puzzled look.

"You know exactly what I mean, Ace." Glory implies with a blank look. Jack sighs through his nostrils and rolls his eyes.

"Mine will be done perfectly so don't you guys slack off. Bye." Jack reminds them.

"Don't forget to water them!" She chirps with a bright smile making the wolf avert his eyes with a tint blush flared from his cheeks.

"..Yeah..." He mutters as he turns around and left. Glory giggles softly.

Glory thought with a grin. Grim then leans to her ear.

"Psst. Jack really loves you doesn't he?" Grim whispers and she turns to him with a smile.

"Jack is indeed quite fond of me despite claiming that he prefers alone. Ironic isn't?" Glory snarks wiggling her brow at Grim making the grey gremlin snicker at her statement.

"True!" Grim snickers.

"There goes our Mr. Serious. Yeah, yeah, see you next year." Ace playfully remarks.

"Kingscholar...When he says it, I actually want to believe him." Deuce mutters tilting his head a bit with a curious look until footsteps have appeared once more. This time is Cater and Trey.

"Hey now, freshmen. You shouldn't follow that bad upperclassman's example." Cater warns them.

"Anyone in our dorm that doesn't turn in their homework will lose their heads to Riddle." Trey informs them.

"Trey, Cay. Hi guys!!" Glory chirps with a sunny smile.

"Trey. Cater." Ace greets them with a smile and Cater lets out a sigh.

"Going home makes me kinda depressed too." Cater complains causing Glory to tilt her head at him.

"Hm? Why?" Glory ask curiously.

"My sisters will be home too so I'll be worked to death even though it's a holiday." Cater whines and turns to Trey.

"But I also wanna do a home stay at your place, Trey." He pleads with puppy dog eyes.

"I don't mind, but you'll get worked to death here, too. Winter is the busiest time for cake shops." Trey informs flinching they ginger.

"Oh yeah. Your family runs a cake shop. No escape for me." Cater whines as he turns to Glory and lays his head on her shoulder.

"Aaah~ isn't that sad, Angel-chan? I'll be working to the bone throughout the break! Boohoohoo." He sobs using crocodile tears nuzzling his head against her shoulder triggering daggers from the A-Deuce duo including Trey, who is keeping his cool on tact. Glory shakes her head rolling her eyes with a side grin and gingerly shoves his head away.

"I'm sure you'll do fine Cay, but if it makes you feel better. I brought you a gift for you to take home." Glory reassures perking up the ginger and spun to the ravenette.

"Eeh? Really!? For me? Awww Angel-chan you shouldn't have!" Cater coos and she nods.

"Yup!" Glory chirps as she pulls out white present with red diamonds wrapped in a pink ribbon a from her backpack.

"Be sure to open it during Christmas okay?" Glory reminds him. Awed by her generous gift, Cater snatches the gift and clings it against his chest smiling in joy.

"Awww this looks so cute! Thank you, Angel-chan!" Cater chirps as he brings her into a hug causing Ace and Deuce to send jealous daggers at Cater while Trey is trying not to get to jealous from Cater hugging Glory.

"I wasn't wrong about you since the moment we've met! You're such a sweet angel! This makes me feel better already!!" Cater purrs while cuddling her as Glory giggles and smiles softly at him.

"Glad you love it, Cay. Oh! That reminds me!" Glory then pulls something out of her backpack again with the boys looked puzzled again until she pulls out a cylindrical present with black clovers wrapped in a green ribbon. She then hands it to Trey.

"I also wrapped this for you, Trey. Don't open it until Christmas. Remember that." Glory reminds him. Touched by her generosity, Trey smiles warmly and grabs the gift.

"Thank you, Gloriane-san. I'll wait for Christmas to open it." Trey told her as she smiles brightly at him.

"Definitely." Glory chirps with a sweet smile making Trey smiled sheepishly with a blush crept from his cheeks and the boys became envious of him. Suddenly footsteps are heard as they all turned to see Riddle sauntering with a troubled look.

"Oh, Riddle..." Glory utters noticing his distressed look.

"Ah, Dorm head Rosehearts! My apologies for standing in the middle of the hallway!" Deuce apologies as he Now's his head to the redhead dorm head. Riddle glance at Deuce.

"...Hm? Oh, it's you guys. If you plan to keep talking then please move over by the wall." Riddle solemnly advises him.

"Huh? That guy seems down in the dumps." Grim mutters.

"That's because he doesn't want to go back home cuz you-know-who." Glory points out.

"Oh, that's right. The dorm head has a tiger mom waiting for him at home. That's bound to bring anyone down." Ace mumbled. Then the trio looked back at Riddle where he and Trey are discussing about break.

"...Riddle. I'm forbidden from stepping foot in your house so I can't bring over a cake or anything but you're welcome at the shop anytime. I'm sure Che'nya will show up too." Trey reassures and Riddle nods.

"That's right, I think I need to...have a good talk my mother. Yet...I don't know if she has the ears to listen though..." Riddle mutters.

"...I see. Good luck." Trey comforts him. Empathizing the young redhead, Glory saunters towards Riddle.

"Riddle." Glory uttered with Riddle glancing at her.

"Hm? Oh, Rabbit. Something you need before I go?" Riddle asked curiously.

"Well since you're going home just like the other boys, I brought you a gift." She said as Glory pulls out a red present with pink roses wrapped in a white ribbon.

"I've bought this gift from Sam's shop yesterday or should I say Vivi bought this gift for you for me as a way of saying "everything is going to be fine" and showing my appreciation for the things you'd done for me in the past weekend." She told him as she beams him with a sweet smile and grabs his hands.

"Don't forget what I said to you. Follow what your heart is telling you." She reassured.

"I hope you enjoy this parting gift before you head home. Please be sure to open this during Christmas time, Riddle." Glory assures with a smile. Deeply moved by her generous gift, Riddle gently grabs the gift as he stares in awe feeling his heart swell with joy. Touched, Riddle glance up at Glory bows his head to her.

"Thank you, Rabbit. I appreciate the sentiment. This makes me feel better a bit." Riddle stated and Glory lays a hand on his shoulder and gently strokes him.

"I know it's tough to be returning home to your family, but just be strong. And if you feel the need to talk, then you can call me. Kay?" Glory reassures him with a gentle smile. Riddle smiles warmly at her.

"...Thank you, Rabbit." Riddle assures with a small smile. Soon he glance down at the floor a little before glancing back at Glory.

"Rabbit...I always-." 

"What's wrong, Kingyo-chan?~" Suddenly Floyd cuts into the conversation when the eel crept behind him and lays an arm on his head.

"You don't wanna go home? Then just don't. We aren't going either so you should just stay at school with us. Ahhah." He chuckles causing Riddle and others to freak out by his sudden presence.

"Floyd..." Glory mutters as the redheaded dorm head whip his head at the eccentric eel.

"...What do you want out of the blue? Could you not barge into things you know nothing about? It's unpleasant." Riddle sternly chides.

"He's right. You shouldn't go sticking your neck into others' business." Jade calmly reassures him.

"Why? Jade, I'm bored of the same ol' faces we get stuck over the holiday. I'm sure Azul would let me keep Kingyo-chan since he's so tiny." Floyd merrily teases, but this does not soothed Riddle at all when he furrows his brows together that has Glory gulping.

"Oh boy...." Glory mutters feeling like he's going to explode any second.

"Care to repeat what you just said? ...You sure have some nerve to say that about the head of Heartslabyul...." And cue the signature red face from the redhead dorm head himself.

"I'LL HAVE YOUR HEAD!!!" Riddle bellows as he prepares to tackle Floyd, but was stopped by Trey and Cater who both grabbed his arms and Glory gets in between him and the perky eel.

"Whoa there, Riddle! Calm down for a sec!" Glory assures him extending her arms out to prevent Riddle from tackling Floyd.

"Eeeh?~ Lionfish~." Out of the blue, Floyd wraps his arms around her and pulls her close shocking her as he lays his head on to her shoulder.

"Why come in front of me? Did you came here to get squeezed?~" Floyd teases flustering ravenette as she squirms her way out of his grip.

"Wha!? No! I wasn't! Please let go of me!" Glory pleads while struggling to break out of Floyd's strong grip as he lets out a cackle.

"You're so cute when you squirm like that! It makes me want to eat you up!" He chirps as he starts nuzzling her neck making her cheeks to flare up and this ignites the redhead's rage when Floyd nuzzles Glory.

"Hey! Release her at once Floyd! I will have your head chopped if you don't!" Riddle snaps while Trey and Cater restrains him from attacking the eel.

"R-Riddle! Don't lose your temper here!" Cater whispers with a worried look.

"Calm down, Riddle. You're letting him get under your skin again." Trey reassures him as Riddle let's out an irritable growl. Jade then let's out a sigh.

"Floyd, release her now. You're clearly making her uncomfortable right now."

"Eeeeh~ But she's so cute!" Floyd complained with a pout.

"Floyd." Jade sternly reminded him making the twin eel roll his eyes.

"Fiiine..." He groans as Floyd releases Glory from his tight grip as she sighs out breathing to regain oxygen. Then Riddle harshly yanks away from Cater and Trey as the redhead dorm leader grabs Glory's wrist and pull her close to him.

"Honestly, you're quite shameless for an eel." Riddle curtly snaps while holding her hand.

"Floyd is just a clingy eel. It's just his way of showing affection towards her." Jade reassures, but neither Riddle and Glory don't buy his reassurance.

"Right..." Glory sarcastically snarks with a skeptical look as Riddle scoffs at his acclaims. Afterwards, Cater turns to the twins.

"Ummm, Floyd, you're from the Coral Sea right? That means you're staying here in Night Raven, right?" He ask curiously.

"Correct. As we addressed yesterday, the three of, including Azul, come from the Coral Sea our hometown is actually far to the north. This time of year the surface is completely covered by a glacier." Jade explains.

"Yeah...Getting around the glacier sucks and once we get there, there's nothing fun to do. So we'll head back during spring vacation after the ice melts." Floyd told them with a perky smile.

"Hmmmh. Living under the sea comes with it's own flaws, I guess." Trey mutters and Riddle whips his head letting out a huff.

"Hmph. I would never spend New Years with the likes of Octavinelle!" He retorts and spun to Glory.

"Thank you for the gift Gloriane. I'll be patient until Christmas time and tell Rapunzel and her crew that I send my praises to them." Riddle informs her and she smiled warmly at him.

"No problem, Riddle." Glory replies sweetly and Riddle turns back to the group.

"I'll take my leave. I wish you all happy holidays." He said as he spun around and marches off while taking a serious look on Trey as a reminder of last night before turning away and left. Trey then sighs and folds his arms.

"...My goodness, have you gotten back to normal a little? I hope you guys don't completely forget to be students over vacation." Trey reminds them and turns to Glory with a smile.

"Thanks for the gift, Gloriane-san. Be sure to tell Rapunzel and her gang that I said happy holidays too. See you guys." Trey said as he spun around and walks off.

"Bye Trey! I will!" She chirps.

"I suppose it's time for me to get moving too. Let's take a pic and then I'll go." Cater suggest and she nods.

"Sure thing, Cay." Glory chirps with a bright grin as she and the rest of the gang get together when Cater snaps a pic of them with smiles. Afterwards, Cater types hashtags on his phone.

"#finaldayoffallterm #withfreshman #happynewyear #timeflkeslol." Cater said as soon as he finishes typing, Cater turns to Glory with a perky smile.

"Thanks for the lovely gift, Angel-chan! You're the best!~" Cater sang merrily making Glory giggle and smiled warmly at him.

"You're welcome, Cay. Have a good holiday." Glory chirps lightheartedly and he grins back.

"Thanks! Tell Raps and her friends that I said happy holidays too!!" Cater cheers and turns back to everyone.

"Happy holidays everyone!" He chirps as he spun around and left the mirror chamber leaving Glory. As soon as they left, Glory sends a concern look.

There they go, but...I hope Riddle is doing ok over there....

She thought with an empathic look, but soon her thoughts are snapped when an arm wraps around her shoulder.

"Lionfish, Seally, are staying here? Then you should come to Octavinelle. I'll hang out with you." Floyd chirps causing Glory to curl her brows at them.

"You would?" Glory ask in disbelief, but Jade gently grabs her hand and plants a kiss on it.

"We do, Angelfish. Besides it's a great idea. Since you're staying with Rapunzel and her companions over the break, we could all have fun over the holidays so please come over at anytime. Good-bye..." Jade assures but as soon as they turn around, Glory shouts.

"Oh. Hey wait!" Glory halts and the two stop and spun their heads to see her pulling out three gifts. Two gifts are a teal present with eels on it from left and right wrapped in a white ribbon and

"Both of these gifts are for you guys, so be sure not to open it until Christmas. The third gift is Azul's by the way so could you please give this to him and tell him the same thing that I told you guys?" Glory ask curiously. Jade and Floyd both looked surprised, but also flattered by her generous gifts as Jade grabs three gifts and he smiles softly at her.

"Why thank you very much, Angelfish. We appreciate the sentiment. I'll be sure to inform Azul as soon as we return. As well as returning your generosity once break is over." Jade told her and Glory smiled warmly.

"Thanks, I appreciate it!" Glory chirps and soon Floyd tackles her and wraps his arms around her.

"Kyaaah~!!! Lionfish, you're too cute! Giving me a sweet gift for me!" Floyd coos nuzzling his head against her neck making her giggle igniting the jealous glares from Ace and Deuce.

"Ahem. Well, we better head back to our dorm. Azul must be waiting for us to return." Jade said.

"Bye bye, Lionfish! Tell Sunfish and her fishies that I said hi! And Come visit us if you want too and I'll play with you!" Floyd chirps with his childish grin and she grins back.

"Will do, guys." Glory said and soon they turn around and walk off as they let out a soft snicker.

"Ugh, seeing their faces brings back all my trauma from Mostro Lounge, y'know." Grim whimpers suffering from sea trauma.

"Yeah, that was rough." Deuce agrees grimacing the awful memories back in Octavinelle last week.

"Don't remind me." Ace mumbles cringing from his slave days at Octavinelle from last week. Then Deuce lays his hand under his chin.

"...Most of the other students have cleared out so we should probably be on our way too. Thank you for the gift, Glory-san." Deuce thanked her and she smiled warmly at him.

"Anytime Deuce." Glory replies.

"You're right. Oh yeah, thanks for the gift you got for me. Feel free to text me over the break whenever you feel bored." Ace reminds her and Deuce nods.

"Me too! Let's keep in touch." Deuce chirps and Glory giggles and nods at them.

"Thanks guys, I will." She replies.

"Go ahead and hit me up if you get lonely~." Ace teases flashing a wink at her causing Deuce to frown at him out of jealousy. Glory giggles as she curls her brows.

"Oh?~ But I won't message you without an explanation." Glory purrs playfully yet mercilessly with a smirk making Ace groan.

"There's our mood killer. It was a joke." Ace snaps making Deuce snicker a bit at her snarky comeback before he talks.

"His joke may have been in poor taste but, really, you can message us if you need anything. My mom is probably waiting so I should head out. Glory-san, Grim, have a nice vacation. Be sure to tell Rapunzel and her gang the same thing too."

"Same with me, tell them that we all say happy holiday. See ya next year." Ace said and she nods.

"I will, have fun at your break!" Glory chirps with a bright smile as she waves her hand at them. As soon as Deuce and Ace left, Grim tilts his head slightly to the left.

"There's never a dull moment with those guys around but you know...Now that they're gone, I just noticed that they really never shut the hell up!" Grim whines making Glory sigh and shake her head at his typical whining before smiling at him.

"Come on, Grim. Raps and the others are probably waiting for us to come back to the dorm. Let's get going." Glory advises him.

"Yeah yeah whatever. I'm with ya." Grim casually replies, but as soon as they were about to march their way back to the ramshackle dorm, a voice has emit through the hall.

"Moonchild."

"Hm?"

Glory and Grim turn their heads to see the brunette lake goddess standing before them.

"Ffgya!? Lake lady!!" Grim shrieks while clinging on to Glory's shoulder.

"Vivi...." She utters where things are about to get intense in the room.
