Charlie has been released from the medical ward and the only job they are allowed to do right now is gardening.

I asked a nurse about this and she gave a sigh, " We can't let them near dangerous objects at the moment and we can't let them around the younger kids. We just don't want them to see the fresh scars and the kids don't know how to talk to them."

I nodded and then was told that I should try to be Charlie's friend, " They aren't too much older than you and they need someone who's their age to talk too."

I told the nurse I would try. I knew Joey had talked to them a few times so I had already planned on talking to them. I mean most of the people in my gardening shift are decent friends already so I felt sure they would welcome Charlie with open arms.
