The scavengers went out yesterday. They brought my sister her blueberry seeds, and she was so happy.

The scavengers saw Joey's dad, he didn't make it. One of them managed to get his wedding ring, it was all they could get. Joey is really messed up about it, he keeps trying to act like its okay but I know it's not. I tried to talk to him but he keeps pushing me away.

They are holding a funeral for his dad tomorrow. They don't have a body but they think they should have a service honoring him.

Some people are worrying that we will starve before help arrives. We have seeds and about a months worth of food. So we should be able to make it till the government arrives.
