Six months after the battle and death of Gajeel, life had begun to somewhat return to normal.

Levy stayed quiet most of the time, but her children helped her keep going. She knew that she would overcome her depression over losing her husband, but it would take time. Lots of time.

Yajee and Neve had grown very close to one another, and they now lived in their own small home.

Nashi and Ur had begun to spend more time together. Everyone noted the blushes they wore while wandering the guild hall. And Dax was never far behind them, fascinated with the boobs that Nashi had begun to grow.

The other next generation kids had learned a valuable lesson from this experience, and the entire group as a whole had grown closer.

Jutla, like her mother, had been very badly affected by Gajeel's death. She preferred sitting in the forest alone at times, but her lover always managed to find her.

"Jutla, you can't keep wandering into the forest like this. Anything could hurt you out here!" Jareth scolded her.

But the blunette didn't move. "No matter where you are, danger can always find you. There is no reason to hide behind walls. They provide nothing but a cowardly shell."

The redhead sat next to his lover, knowing that he wouldn't win this argument. "What are you doing out here?"

"Thinking," she replied.

"About what?" Jareth asked.

A soft, shaky sigh escaped from the girl's mouth. "If I had been stronger or smart enough to--"

"Hey, shh, hey...it is not your fault. Do you understand me? Hey, look at me," he commanded softly.

Hazel eyes met his green ones. "It is not your fault, Little Dragon. The ones at fault here are dead, and they will never be a threat to us again. Okay?"

"Okay...and I guess you're right. Besides, in my condition, I really shouldn't be stressing," she huffed out.

Her lover chuckled, rubbing her swollen belly. "I wonder if its a boy or a girl."

Jutla snorted. "With my luck, we may have both."

"I wouldn't complain," Jareth said with a smile, wrapping his arms around his fiance, "as long as my family is safe."

A smile formed on the blunette's face, tears threatening to spill. "I love you."

"I love you too."
