Yajee barged into his house, rushing up the stairs towards his bedroom. Levy and Gajeel were sitting down on the couch listening to music, staring in the direction that Yajee ran. A pair of smaller footsteps were heard, the middle-aged couple glancing back to find Neve waltzing into their house without a trace of emotion on her face.

"Oh, hello Neve! Can we uh...help you?" Levy asked hesitantly, having always been afraid of Neve's emotionless and cold stares.

The teen merely shrugged. "He's going with me."

"Yajee? Ya sure about that, kid? He's shitty to deal with," Gajeel blurted out, receiving a smack from Levy, "Ow! Well, he is!"

"He acts just like you! So can it!" Levy screeched out.

Neve watched the older couple argue for several minutes, not batting an eye or bothering to stop them. Instead, she was becoming rather annoyed with the fact that it was taking Yajee a long time with packing his things. Walking away from the couple, she trotted up the stairs and barged into Yajee's room, discovering him in nothing but a pair of tight black boxer shorts. However, she neither blushed nor freaked out about his nearly nude form.

Yajee, hearing his door open, turned around to find his life-long crush leaning against the wall, staring at his half-naked body. "U-um...what are ya doin' in here?!"

"You are taking too long. Hurry up, " she said robotically.

Blushing, he scurried to stuff all of his clothes and maps in his pack, nearly jumping out of his skin when Neve walked over towards him.

"Here, let me help," she told him, grabbing a black tshirt and slipping it over his head.

She gave him a pair of black jeans to slip on as well, sitting down on his bed.

"Does this...not bother ya?" the blunette asked while slipping his pants and shoes on.

Neve merely shook her head. "I dress Dax a lot."

Just the thought of that little four year old grabbing onto Neve's boobs made Yajee furious, but he didn't say anything.

"I'm ready now," he said.

With a slight nod, Neve grabbed his pack and walked out of his room, passing a stunned Gajeel and Levy and she opened the door and exited the house.

Yajee entered the living room, his cheeks red.

"Son, are ya sure you can handle her?" Gajeel asked.

The male blunette nodded, placing his hands on his hips. "Oh, yeah. I can handle anything."

As Yajee left the house, Levy grabbed Gajeel's arm.

"He's gonna die!" she sobbed out, burying her face into Gajeel's side.

The iron dragon slayer patted the top of his wife's head, sighing. "He'll be fine. Neve's  with 'em."

"That's why he's going to die!" she wailed, her tears leaving a stain on Gajeel's shirt.

"So...where exactly are we going?" Yajee asked as they waited for the train to arrive.

Neve sat down on one of the benches, staring straight ahead. "Crocus."

His eyes widened. "Why the capital city? I mean, that sounds cool, but shouldn't they--"

"You ask too many questions," she said without a hint of emotion.

"Right...sorry," he choked out, sitting down next to her.

The two sat in silence for around half an hour. Eventually, the train arrived, various passengers stepping off. Neve stood up, grabbing their bags. The sound of soft snoring was heard behind her, and she turned around to find Yajee curled up and asleep. She was somewhat surprised that she didn't realize that he was asleep. Leaning down towards him, she tapped his shoulder in an attempt to wake him up, but nothing happened. She tried again by shaking him, but he didn't wake up. The passengers started boarding the train, and Neve knew that she needed to wake him up now or else they would miss their ride. She turned around and bent down to get something out of her pack; however, a hand glided its way over her butt, grabbing it.

"So...squishy," Yajee mumbled in his sleep.

Immediately, Neve spun around and slapped Yajee across the face. "You need to control your dream hormones."

Yajee fell off the bench, holding his cheek. "I can't help it!"

"Let's just get on the train," Neve nearly whispered, grabbing their packs.

"Oh, there is one thing that I should warn ya about..." Yajee trailed off.

~~

"So...yer a dragon slayer too?" Yajee sickly asked as Neve puked into one of the doggy bags she brought.

"Ice dragon slayer. It is a long story that I'd rather not talk about," she said emotionlessly despite being green in the face.

Yajee gagged as the train traveled over a curved rail. "I-I find that pretty awesome! I thought Jutla and I were the only ones, ya know."

Neve hurled into her doggy bag again. "Never assume until you already know."

~~

The train ride lasted a couple of hours. Eventually, it docked at the capital train station, the passengers all leaving the train as quickly as they could. The smell of the combined vomit of Yajee and Neve had become too much for the more squeamish citizens.

As Neve exited the train, she tossed all of their doggy bags out, actually managing to hit a poor man with them. Yajee winced at the guy's reaction to being covered in their vomit.

"That wasn't very nice," he somewhat scolded her.

She merely shrugged. "The man needs to learn how to understand when something is traveling his way."

"Anyways...where are we goin'?" he asked.

"Bar Sun," Neve replied.

~~

"--and that's why you need to help us!" A short and stubby man sobbed out.

"Don't worry yer small face, Malachi! We'll--"

"So let me get this straight. There's a dark mage making death threats to the queen by sending curses to this town? I don't understand. Where are the curses?" Neve asked, though showing very little emotion as usual.

Malachi gulped, lowering his voice. "The queen has disappeared, along with many of the council. They just...vanished into thin air! We don't know what to do!"

"Well, where can we start looking?" Yajee asked.

"The queen was last seen taking a stroll with her guards by the south mountains. You could start here," he offered.

Neve stood up, slightly bowing. "We will do whatever it takes to return the queen and council home. But we need to rest in order to achieve this. Is there a...nice quality inn nearby?"

"Down the street. You'll see it, and thank you again!" he boasted.

Yajee and Neve left the bar and made their way down the paved street.

"We will leave at dawn tomorrow, so be ready," Neve informed her partner.

The blunette nodded. "Yeah, you got it!"
