Jan groaned softly, and opened her eyes. Then she bolted upright onto her paws.
The last thing she remembered was the net.
That horrid net, it had clung to her like spider's web, and it leeched her strength from her so she could not escape, despite all her power. She shook herself, moving around on the floor with discomfort, as its rough surface did the same through her paws, as if two hundred pounds of weight had been strapped around her ankles.
Eventually she flopped back down on the floor, the struggle to keep herself upright truly exhausting her.
The feeling of her body not being able to do what she wanted it to was truly horrific, and having her entire side on the draining floor was even more dreadful, but it was all she could do.
Her ears perked up, as she heard the sound of pawsteps approaching.
She looked more carefully at the place in which she was. It was a cage, with thick, strong bars, and about as large as her cave had been. The room around it was dark, so dark even her night-tuned eyes could not see much further than the bars.
"Good morning, Ms Jan."
"H-how do you know my name..."
The yet-disembodied voice chuckled softly. "It's my life's work to know everything."
"Who are you..."
The figure padded forward, revealing a particularly large Furfrou, perhaps ten feet tall or more. Jan's eyes widened as she looked up at him. He was not nearly as large as Abuja, but he was still more than double her size. The vast creature laid down beside her cage, looking in at her with what seemed like a kind face.
"My name is Holhollanis. Holhollanis van den Berg."
"N-nice to meet you... c-can I come out of here now...?"
Holhollanis shook his head slowly. "Soon. When we have something more pleasant for you to wear. I know the floor in there is making you feel weak, but you'll feel much better when its only a collar."
"A-a collar? Why do you want me to wear a collar...?"
Holhollanis looks in at her, and cocks his head to the side.
"Safety."

Austin opened his eyes slowly, and shook his head, looking around. An emptied tranquilizer dart stuck out from his haunch, and he pulled it out carefully, standing up slowly. His eyes widened.
Jan was gone.
It all came back to him, the net, the shot... he had passed out before finding out what had happened to Jan, and there was no sign of her having been dragged away from the shore. He sniffed around carefully, his eyes wide, his tail trembling.
Suddenly he was tackled from the side. Austin blocked his face with his paws, until he recognized the scent.
"A-Angel...?"
"What the FUCK did you think you were doing?! Leaving home without telling me?! Now I find you on this beach that stinks of Jan! You know what she could have done to you..."
Angel hugged him tightly, so tight that it hurt. Austin whimpered, and nuzzled her gently.
"S-sorry sis... I-I had to..."
Angel looked at him carefully. "Had to what?"
"Come here... I don't know what I was thinking, I just ran out, and ended up here, and Jan was here, and... She's somewhere, I don't know where she is, we have to get her!"
"Get her? If she's gone, then good riddance," Angel huffed. "If she had a hold of you and something snatched her away-"
"You don't understand! I can't leave her! I can't..."
Austin held his head in his paws, trembling.
"I do love her..."
Angel stared down at him, blinking a few times. So many emotions ran through her mind, and she huffed.
"Fuck it, okay. Let's figure out where she is."
Austin looked back up at her. "I-I'm sorry sis-"
"Don't, don't. Let's just get this over with. We'll talk more about this later."
