Chapter 26 (Edited)
***
Next morning came quickly, and we were all piled into a couple of vans, going to GreenRock Pack. A couple of the members of the pack had cars as well, so we could go somewhere. I had brought my bike, but Uncle Carter didn't want me to drive it there, which sucked.
We had made a couple of stops to get food and stuff, but we were about 30 minutes away from the pack when I started to feel antsy and queasy. The whole atmosphere was tense, and I knew that it was because of us going to somewhere that had taken my childhood innocence.
I drummed my hands on armrests and took a deep breath, trying to control my frayed nerves. I knew that I was not the same girl that I was a month ago, but all my fears and nerves were catching up on me the closer we got to my hell. "Stop the car!" I said, finally when my stomach did a flip.
Vulcan slammed on the brakes and pulled over to the side. He turned to look at me, wondering what was wrong, but I was all ready out of the car and in the grass.
I threw up what little I had in my stomach and started to shake. I could feel myself start to have a Panic Attack, and that scared me. My hands were shaking while my breath turned ragged. My heart rate picked up while something wet started to leak out of my eyes.
"Ry?" a male voice asked in concern. A warm arm wrapped around me and pulled me into a hug. "Shhh, breathe. It's going to be all right." The voice was soothing as well as the arm that rubbed up and down my back. "You are not going to be alone. You have a family now."
I hugged whomever the person was and closed my eyes, crying. "I'm scared," I whispered. "W-what i-i-if-f..."
The person squeezed me, reassuringly. "Shhhh," he said. "We'll get to the 'what ifs' when we get there. You aren't in this alone. I promise."
I whimpered and nodded my head. I took deep breaths and started to calm down. "I got your shirt wet," I muttered, looking up. I blinked to see that it was Liam who was staring at me. I could sense a lot of emotion coming from him, and the deepest one was anger.
Liam smiled, but it was forced. "It's fine," he said. "I needed a shower anyways." He smirked when I wrinkled my nose and shoved him away. "But are you all right? We can turn this party around."
I shook my head no. "We're thirty minutes away, and they are expecting us." I shrugged my shoulder. "Skylar is probably going to be staying around there, and I don't want anyone to get hurt because of him."
Liam sighed and nodded his head. "Fine." He stood and then held out his hand. "However, if anything bad happens, then we are leaving. We can just stake out in human territory and watch the pack."
I nodded my head and took his hand, hoisting myself up. "Deal," I replied. I shifted on my feet. "Can I ride my bike the rest of the way? Uncle C will be pissed with me, but I could really care less."
Liam smirked. "We're way ahead of you," he said. "Come on, we have thirty minutes before we reach the pack. You'll be behind the van with us. All right?"
I nodded my head and started to go that way. I glanced to see that almost half of the people that came with us were out of the vans, watching me. I glanced down, hating the pity that came from them. I didn't need it, so I didn't know why they would.
"Please get back to the vans," Liam said, spying that I was a bit nervous. "Rylan is fine, and we will be continuing on our journey there." There was a small growl in his voice, and I couldn't help but look at him shocked. I knew that he hated Cooper, but I didn't know that he had hated him that much.
I shook my head and went over to one of the Warriors who had my bike out. I smiled at him, even though it was kind of forced and placed on my helmet. So much for arriving there in style, I thought, bitterly while I started my bike. If they think I'm weak 'cause of the tears, then they are going to have another thing coming.

The rest of the trip there was basically boring. A couple of the Wolves that were supposed to be taking us to the pack house tried to flirt with me, which caused me almost to laugh at how stupid they looked.
Oh, they will have another thing coming when they find out it was me that they had been flirting with.
'Hey, are those Wolves still trying to catch your eye?' Addy asked, using the link.
I snorted and glanced to the side to see a wolf with light grayish fur prancing around. 'Yep, he is now looking like a show pony,' I replied, glancing forward. My hands were clutching the handlebars kind of tight. My heart rate picked up a bit, but I quickly took a couple of deep breaths to bring it back under control.
Addy giggled. 'Can you take a picture of him?'
I snickered before looking forward and saw that we were at the Pack House. I took a deep breath, calming myself down. 'I wish I could, but we are here.' I bit my lip and kept my bike back while the others started to move the cars forward.
'Stay back, we'll announce you,' Liam said, while he got out of the van. He looked around and frowned when he didn't see me. 'Wait, where are you?'
I smirked while I kicked the bike stand and started to get off my bike. 'Way ahead of you, Cous,' I replied, sending him an image of me behind a couple of the vans. 'Some of them got the same idea and moved around me, so that they were blocking me from view.'
Liam glanced around to see that I was protected and smirked. He quickly turned to the front and it turned into a frown when he saw that Cooper was looking at them. "Alpha Cooper," he said, shaking his hand. There was a small growl in his voice. "It is nice to see you again."
"It's nice to see you, again, also," Cooper said, looking slightly wary. He cleared his throat. "This is my Beta Rhett and his mate, Giselle." He gestured to my brother and my best friend. He gestured to the girl beside him. "And this is my girlfriend, Mitchie."
"Nice to meet you," Liam said, nodding his head to my brother and best friend. There was a slight smirk in his voice, causing me to roll my eyes. He cleared his throat and gestured to Luke and Addy. "This is my late Beta Luke and his mate, Addy."
"Late?" Copper asked, frowning. "What do you mean by that?"
"It means, that I'm working on getting the trust of the pack and-"
"Well," Giselle said, interrupting him. "Where is she?" She was bouncing around and looking for me.
"Who?" Luke asked, feeling slightly tense. He moved slightly to the left, trying to block me from view while another Warrior moved towards me also. "Who are you talkin-"
Giselle had spotted where they were moving towards and squealed happily, seeing that it was me. She started to run towards me, making most of the pack growl a warning and started to move towards me.
'Easy,' I said, causing them to glance at me. I tried to prepare myself for Gigi's tackle, but it didn't work out, and I ended up on the ground with her on top of me. I couldn't help but laugh as I made sure that she didn't get hurt.
"You are a fucking bitch!" she exclaimed while she started to punch me, not hard. "Why did you have to leave on my birthday?!"
"I didn't leave on your birthday, Gigi," I laughed, grabbing her hands. "I left before it."
"Without a goodbye," she replied, pouting. Her hazel eyes had this weird glint in them. "Now, we all can go shopping."
"Let her get settled in, Gi, first," my brother said, coming over. He grabbed hold of her and pulled her off of me. "How are you feeling?" He glanced me up and down, a smile on his face.
I shrugged my shoulder. "Like crap," I replied, sitting up. I pulled off my helmet and shook out my hair. I took hold of one of the Warrior's hands and pulled myself up. "Thanks, Brick." I smiled up at the older male.
Brick nodded his head. "Anything for you, Beta," he said, smirking. Brick looked like a brick wall. He had brown, almost black, eyes and dark gray hair. He was built of muscle upon muscle, making him look scarier than he was. He stood at 6'8 and towered everyone that he met.
"Beta?" Mitchie sputtered, glaring at me with her dull brown eyes. "She's nothing more than a fraud.
"I raised an eyebrow. "Fraud?" I asked, my voice holding warning. "Is that what I am?"
"Yes," Mitchie replied. "You did kill your parents."
I shook my head in amusement. "Ah, you are the first one to bring it up." I faked a cheerful smile. "Congratulations, you are on my hit list." I looked at Cooper, who was staring at me with his mouth opening and closing like a fish out of water. "Nice to see you, Alpha. I am sorry for your loss."
Mitchie snorted and rolled her eyes. "I'm sure you are," she said, sarcastically.
I glared at her. I could feel my anger start to boil over, which was not a good thing. "I suggest you learn not to make me angry," I said, growling slightly. I could sense Brick and others start to back up from me, while my eyes started to shift into a red color. I closed my eyes and took deep breaths. "I'll be back. I need to go for a run before I do kill an Innocent."
"Be careful," Liam said. He caught my helmet and my keys. "Yes, I'll put your bike up. No need to throw them at me." He teased, causing me to growl a warning.
I turned around and started to run away from them, not wanting them to see my red eyes. This is going to be fun, I thought sarcastically, weaving through the people that were gathered. I kept my eyes closed, knowing that my eyes were still red.
