I smiled when I saw the familiar face of Gigi looking at me. However, it turned to a frown when I saw how exhausted she looked. "Alright, Spill," I said, getting serious. I knew that she was hiding something.
"You look beautiful, Ry," Gigi said, smiling. She looked down, and I knew that she was trying to steer the conversation away from whatever made her upset.
"Gi, you are my best friend. I know when you are hurting. What is up?" I asked, glaring at her.
"The ceiling," she replied, causing me to growl softly. A smirk appeared on her face before she yawned, covering her mouth. "So, how are you doing, Wafilia?" she asked, ignoring the glare that I sent her.
"Good," she replied.
"You look beautiful."
Wafilia blushed and looked down. "Thank you," she mumbled. "Bailey did my make up and hair. Addy was picking on Ry."
"Hey, not my fault," Addy said, nudging my shoulder. "This girl didn't want to have her hair or makeup done."
"Oh, you should see her when she is shopping. She is usually going for the baggy-"
"We know," Addy and Bailey said in unison, cutting her off.
"When she isn't wearing her leather jacket that makes her look like a bad-" Addy stopped and glanced at Wafilia who was smirking "-uh one of those hot chicks in those magazines, she wears baggy jeans, shoes, and a sweatshirt."
Gigi giggled. "Trying not to cuss in front of her?" she teased. "How is that going for you?"
I grimaced. "Horrible," I replied, causing Gigi to laugh. "Hey, you are not going to be cussing in front of her either."
"Da-" She glanced at Wafilia "-ng it."
I snorted. "Welcome to my world," I muttered. "Anyways, how are things going there?"
Gigi got quiet and glanced down. "Uh well..."
Warning bells went through my head, making me tense. "Gi-"
I was interrupted by a knock on Gigi's door and then a voice that I really didn't want to hear. "Giselle? Open up." My heart rate started to increase because it was Cooper.
Gigi looked at the door, her eyes wide and her face pale. She turned to look at me. 'Put mike on mute and turn off your camera,' she mouthed. "In a minute," she called out.
I nodded my head and did as I was told to do just as soon as Cooper opened the door.
"Didn't I say in a minute?" she asked.
Cooper growled loudly, causing Gigi to instantly bow her head. Thankfully Addy took that minute to cough really loud so that it covered it. "Do you dare disrespect me?" His eyes flickered slightly, causing me to tense.
"No," she said. Her eyes went blank while she mindlinked him and said the Alpha part.
"Be glad that you are my best friends mate. I do not tolerate disrespect. Now, who are you talking to?"
"My friend Wafilia," she replied. "One of my other friends had given her a makeover, and I wanted to see what she looked like."
"I want to see her." Curiosity filled his voice, making me tense.
I moved the computer into her lap before moving over to the window seat. A small growl caught my attention, and I looked down to see the little mutt of a dog, that Wafilia had, glaring up at me from underneath the bed. I lifted my upper lip and growled softly, causing the mutt to move under the bed and leave my sight.
I looked up when I heard Cooper laughing, my whole body tensing.
"You are talking to that piece of shit?" he sneered. "Why the hell are you talking to her? She is nothing but-"
That did it. I growled and wrenched the laptop from Wafilia's grasp. I could feel my anger getting the best of me. "Listen here, Fucker and listen good," I snarled, not caring that I was cussing. I could tell that Cooper was surprised that I was there.
"Ry-"
"No, don't you dare say anything, Boy. You can make my life hell with everything you got, but you will never make someone else's life miserable. You are an asshole, and you need to grow the fuck up. My brother has been only been your friend because I told him to."
Cooper snorted. "I-"
"Who do you think he chooses, Coop?" I interrupted him. "Me or you? Who do you think he will back up and die for?"
"Me of course. I mean you did-"
"Eeeenh. Wrong answer, Bucko," I said. "He would choose me. Know why? It's because I'm still a better person than you. The only reason that you are not in the ground right now is because I told him not to beat you up when you had beaten me up." I snarled. "I can't believe that I am supposed to be with someone the likes of you. She is different, yes. That doesn't mean that you have to be a piece of shit because of it."
Cooper didn't say a word. His mouth was open and he had this shocked look on his face. "He..."
"He would choose me in a heartbeat just what I would do with him." I sighed, feeling my anger start to fade. "You need to get off of your high horse. You've all ready lost the one that was made for you, so I don't know why you are hanging on." I glanced at Gigi. "Gi, I'll talk to you later. Tell my brother to call me sometime tomorrow. I need to know what's happening." With that I hung up the call before placing the laptop down.
"Ry?" Addy asked, cautiously.
I glanced at her, causing her to shut up. "Not now," I said. "I'm tired. I'm going to wipe this makeup off and go to bed." With that, I went into the adjoining bathroom and washed my face before going to where I had laid out my quilt. I laid down and pulled the cover to my chin before falling asleep.
A small whimper and something warm pushed up against me, causing me to open one eye. The small mutt was laying by my side, probably knowing that I needed some comfort. He placed his head on my shoulder before he closed his eyes.I sighed and closed my eyes, falling back asleep.

The next morning, I woke up early and left, knowing that I couldn't stay. I was still pretty angry about what had happened and needed to leave. Yes, I did leave a note for them to tell them that I had left, but I did feel slightly guilty for not staying.
I shook my head and sighed when I saw Vulcan with my helmet and bike. "How long were you here?" I asked, even though I knew that he wouldn't answer. "Don't tell me that you had stayed here all night."
He shook his head no before he handed me the helmet. After I placed it on, he handed me the keys.
"Did you just know that I was waking up, needing to ride?" I placed the keys into the motorcycle and looked at him.
He nodded his head. He cocked his head, and I could tell that he was worried as well as wondering what had happened.
"Cooper," I replied, not wanting to go into details. I backed up onto the street and left, knowing that he would follow. After a few minutes of the road, I went into the woods and started to drive there, glad that my bike was made for both on and off road.
For a few minutes, I zoomed on the path with Vulcan following behind me. My whole body was relaxing from the speed, and I was glad that I was able to forget what had happened for a little while.
I groaned when I got a phone call from the bluetooth system in my helmet. "Accept call," I said, making the thing ding. "Yo?"
"Where are you?" Liam growled, sounding rather worried. "And where is Vulcan?"
"In the woods riding my bike," I replied. "And he is behind me." I sighed. "I had a rough night. Cooper kinda sorta made me lose my cool."
"Oh?" Liam asked, and I could tell that he raised his eyebrow.
"Mmmhmm. I cussed and didn't try to change the words."
Liam sighed. "I need you back at the pack house. Rogues were spotted-" He was interrupted by someone saying 'Alpha'. After a few minutes he growled and picked up the phone. "Change of plans. Some of the Rogues had gotten into the city. You or Vulcan needs to kill them before they reveal our secret to the Humans."
"Roger that," I replied, turning my bike around and started back into town. "Send someone when you can."
"All right. Be careful."
"Always am," I replied, causing him to laugh before he hung up. I glanced beside me to see that Vulcan was there. "There are Rogues in town. We gotta make sure that they don't show our secret to the Humans."
Vulcan nodded his head, following me.

After a few minutes, I made it into town and spotted the Rogues closing in on some female. A small growl escaped my lips when I saw that the female was Wafilia. Quickly, I pressed a button on my bike and shot two silver bullets at the group before pushing my way through, causing people to move out of my way.
I grabbed hold of Wafilia and pulled her onto my bike before going in the direction she went, finding an alleyway a couple of blocks away. I turned the bike around before turning it off. "Ok, I need you to get off the bike, Lia," I said. I took off my helmet after pushing some buttons so that she couldn't see or hear. "Sit down in the corner and put this on." I handed it to her.
"What about you?" Wafilia asked, worriedly.
"Don't worry. I've been training for this." I smirked at her. "Oh, I placed a visor down and you won't be able to hear. That is why I want you to do it when you sit down."
"But-"
"No buts. We are running out of time. Do as I say."
Wafilia nodded her head and went into the corner and placed the helmet on. She didn't say a word, trying to make sure that she was hidden from view.
I placed my bike in front of her and waited for them come. I was certain that Vulcan had caused some havoc to the Rogues, so that was why they were taking so long.
A couple of growls sounded the air before twenty Rogues moved into my line of sight, all of them in human form for now.
The first one looked me up and down before smirking. He looked to be around his late forties, but Werewolves aged slower than normal humans, so it was hard to tell. He had black hair that was slowly turning gray. He had dark brown eyes with something in then that made me stiffen. He stood probably at 6'5 and looked muscular.
I shifted on my feet slightly, letting two daggers slip out of my sleeves. I stayed silent while I felt Vulcan appear behind me, standing in front of Wafilia.
"Ah, the Red Wolf," the male said. He mocked bowed. "I am sure that you don't remember me."
I blinked not saying anything.
The male smirked. "I'm Skylar and-"
I busted out laughing. I couldn't help myself. He had a flipping girl's name. "I'm sorry, Skylar," I teased after I calmed down a few minutes later. "Continue."
The male, Skylar, growled and gritted his teeth. "Why you little bitch," he snarled, causing me to smirk. "You should be glad that I need you. I could kill you right now with a snap of my fingers."
I snorted. "I am not joining your group. And yes, I all ready know that I'm a bitch. Now, why don't we get this battle done all ready?"
Skylar growled. "Too bad after killing your parents, you didn't lose that damn spirit of yours."
I sneered, knowing that he was the one that had killed my parents. "And I'm sure that you are the reason why those innocent people have died, also. Yes? If so, then I want to give you my humble gratitude, 'cause I am close."
"I know that is why-" He gestured to one of his members who started to cut himself with a knife "-is going to make sure that you drink some evil blood."
The guy started to mutter something under his breath but didn't get too far because a dagger ended in his throat, killing him instantly.
I glanced at Skylar. "Over your dead body," I snarled before lunging at the group and started to attack them.
By the time the reinforcement got there, half of the Wolves were killed and half had left. I was about to chase after them when I felt them close by. I glanced around, my whole body tense while Liam and Luke came into view and saw the 10 dead wolves.
"Damn, Ry. Did you do this by yourself?" Liam asked.
I popped my shoulder back into place. "Ya," I said. "Ten escaped, and the person that killed my parents is leading them."Liam frowned. "Do you know where they are going to go?"
"Probably back to GreenRock. This was just a distraction. For what, I don't know."
Liam nodded. "We'll check to make sure there aren't any lingering Wolves. Take Wafilia back to her house before going back. We have some things... to discuss."
I frowned and nodded my head. "All right." I turned to look at Vulcan. "Go back to the house. I'll be there in fifteen."
Vulcan nodded his head and disappeared. I was a bit surprised that he didn't fight me on it, but I didn't say anything about it.
I glanced at Liam and Luke to see that they were uncomfortable about something. "Well, get going. You might want to see if you can't secure the borders and then get back." With that, I turned around and moved to Wafilia, who was shaking. I sighed and pressed the buttons on the side of the helmet so that she could see and hear me. "Come on, let's get you home."
She nodded her head and followed me to my bike. She didn't say a word while she got on and buried her head into my back while I drove back gently, knowing that she was afraid.
