Chapter 8 (Edited)

You'll see that I'm writing questions for each chapter. After each chapter, then I will answer it. It can range from personal (favorite items) to something that is in the book. Please, answer, I want to know what ya'll think.

And, without any further aude, here is chapter eight.

Note: This symbol doesn't really mean death or destruction, but in my book it does. Cheers. xD

Question of Chapter: Who do you think is the bigger man-child is out of the male charries?

My hands moved around the Pup's fur, calming him down and trying to find out if he had been hurt from his early shifting or from whatever horror he had faced. A smile appeared on my face when the Wolf Pup purred and leaned back into my hand. "We need a name for you, ya? I know that you'll have problem communicating with the pack until you learn."

The Wolf Pup whined and flicked his ears back and forth. I could see the doubt in his eyes, and I knew that he was afraid. He just lost his mother, and I had no idea what he had seen, but I could tell that it would scar him.

"You will be good with our Pups," someone said from behind me. The person chuckled when I growled at him when the Pup started to try and get out of my arms, whining out in fear. "It's all right Pup, I'm not going to hurt you," the person crooned.

I turned around to see that it was Cooper and gave him a deadpanned look. "Seriously?" I asked, cocking an eyebrow. I rolled my eyes when he pouted at my hard tone. "Grow up. Can you take him outside and have Dr. Kelly check up on him? I don't trust Dr. Liz."

Cooper nodded his head and walked over to us. He didn't take the Wolf Pup out of my arms, letting him get used to the older male. "I think that we do need a new head pack doctor. She can be a nurse, but I think it is better for the Alpha to trust the pack doctor." There was a knowing smile on his face before he laughed when the Pup jumped on him and lick his face. "Be careful. I don't want you to get injured worse than you have been."

I rolled my eyes and bit back a snort. "Ya, ya. Be careful, will you? I don't need you to be injured."

Cooper smiled and kissed me on the lips. "Ya, I know. You better go. I'm sure that Liam is standing there and kind of freaking out with whatever he found."

I nodded and kissed his cheek before standing and walking towards the stairs to go where Liam was waiting for me. I could feel my mate's stare on my butt, so being the "nice mate" I was, I swayed my hips and moved my butt. A smirk appeared on my face when I heard my mate groan in sexual frustration.

"Tease!" he called after my retreating form, causing me to turn back to look at him and wink.

I laughed when he growled and hauled my ass up to Liam before Cooper did something like tease me back. A shiver ran through my body, and to be honest, I couldn't help but wait to see what he had in store for me.

"I can smell the sexual tension from here," Liam said, wiping the blood from his nose. "Yes, it is still bleeding. How can you get it to stop?" He smiled cheekily at my narrowed look and knew that I was annoyed with him.

I huffed and ripped a part of his shirt and placed it over his nose. "Lean forward and hold that on your nose," I said. "Goddess, you are such a man child," I muttered underneath my breath, causing Liam to snicker.

"No, your mate is a man child and Vulcan. I am not a man child." He grabbed the piece of his shirt and leaned a bit forward like I had told him.

I scoffed and rolled my eyes, annoyed that he commented my oldest Protector as a man child. "The twins are worse than they are. Now, cover up your nose. You are staying here?"

"Seeing as you will be "time-travelling" and your body will still be here, then yes I will be here," Liam said, sarcastically. He gave me an innocent smile, causing me to roll my eyes. "You are at your weakest point, and if someone tries to get you..."

I grunted and nodded, seeing the worry in his eyes. "Just make sure that that is on your nose," I muttered before going over to the mark on the wall. A loud growl escaped my lips when I saw the four circles together, because I knew that it meant death and destruction. "If anyone appears, then hide. I do not care if I am alone. You will protect yourself. Your daughter needs you."

"It's a boy," Liam grumbled, teasingly. He sighed and nodded his head before sitting down. "Enjoy."

I rolled my eyes before closing them. I had done this a couple of times, and I couldn't help but feel as if I was still green with it. I mean, Aednat had told me that I was able to, being that I was a fire wielder.

I took a deep breath and concentrated on my powers. Heat flew around me when I tapped into my source of power. The wind picked up, and I could feel my soul leave my body. It was a strange feeling, something that I wasn't used to.

I mean, I could feel my body and feel what goes around it, but I couldn't see nor hear what was being said. I just could feel if I was in danger or if the person around me was in danger.

As soon as I got to the point where I needed to be, the world stopped spinning and I opened to my eyes to see the West Wing completely built and no Wicca sign anywhere to be seen. "Guess means that I got to wait," I muttered, leaning against a wall and waited for something to happen.

Answer to Question of Chapter: For me, I think that it is Thaddie and Chris. They do have their serious moments, but they are the goofballs of the group. I don't know if there is a very serious person. What do ya'll think?
