'I think that it would be nice if you hide your package, Your Highness,' I said, linking the Prince. I covered my eyes and smirked when the Prince glared at me because I had interrupted him from holding his mate. 'Bay is turning into a tomato.'

"Ry," Bay warned, and I didn't need to remove my paws from my eyes to know that she was red. She cleared her throat, and I could sense her shifting on her feet. "Shut up."

"We both know that isn't going to happen, unfortunately," Cooper said, dropping a shirt on my head. "Why don't you go and get changed into that? I don't want anyone to see what is mine." He growled protectively, causing me to snort and set fire to his foot. "Ouch, damn it, Ry."

I shook the shirt off of my head and looked to see that he was trying to scowl at me but there was a smile playing on his lips. I gave him a wolfish grin before picking up the shirt and shifted into my human form.

I bit back a groan of pain because of my ribs and let out a sigh when I finally completed shifting back into human form. I pulled the shirt over my head before stepping out to see a cowering TJ with Mavrick glaring at him. "Before I set both of your asses on fire, I suggest you two back up, now," I growled, showing my rank. I stood tall and proud, even though I was just wearing my mate's shirt.

Mavrick turned his glare towards me and pointed at TJ. Anger and hatred burned in his eyes, and I knew that it was taking a lot out of him to not attack. "He almost killed-"

I raised my hand, silencing him. "We will talk about it when we get everyone checked out and settled. After that, we can talk. I suggest you listen before you try something." I kept my gaze trained on him. My heart beat steadily in my chest, and I was ready to protect TJ even if it meant losing the Wolf King.

"See? She is dangerous she-"

"You have no room to speak, Meridia," I said, interrupting her. I kept my voice leveled, but there was an underlying tone of anger in it. "You are the one that is trying to turn one of my trusted Protectors against me." I stared at her, and I knew my eyes were gray and red. I was sick and tired of her treating me like crap, and all I wanted to do was punch the living shit out of her.

"No, you are the one that is turning him away from you," she replied. She sneered and looked me up and down. Disgust filled her eyes, and I could see that she hated me just as much as I hated her. "You were the one-"

"Because, she wanted to help in any way that she could," I snapped, my patience with her growing thin. "She doesn't care about what he does or did to her. She wanted to help." I sensed Vulcan stiffen beside her, but I did not turn to look at him. "Yes, I know what happens behind closed doors. Don't act like that I don't care about people. I care so much about people that in the end, I am sure that that it will kill me."

"Ry-"

I shook my head, interrupting whomever was trying to speak to me. "If you can, Aloha Barker, have your doctor start looking at the people, I would be grateful. If you all will excuse me, I need a shower." And with a nod of the head, I left, still trying to control my anger.

I knew the reason as to why Vulcan didn't want his sister there, but I didn't know why he hid it from me. Was it because he thought that I wouldn't care, or did he want to get rid of a past that he tried to forget?

"You are keeping information from us, Miss Reece," King Merist said. He leaned back in his seat and stared at me. His face was a blank mask, and I could tell that he was debating with himself. "Why?"

I looked up from the golden tube I had been playing with while we had our meeting. I knew that there were things better left unsaid if it was to keep the group safe. My face felt heavy, and I knew that it was because I hadn't gotten enough sleep as well as crying in the bathroom. I was drained, emotionally and physically, but I knew that I had to keep trekking along.

"Because," I replied, looking down. I tried a different combination and huffed when it didn't open. "If you know too much, then the ex-Elder will know. He knows that you are here and talking to me. If it wasn't for both Queen Tabitha and Queen Whisper, then I wouldn't be able to speak as openly as I have been."

"You just want us dead. You want us killed," Meridia said. She turned to look at her mate and placed a hand on him. "I keep trying to tell you that, Vulcan."

I stared at her blankly. "Ya, because I didn't cry and try to break free from whatever was holding me to save him when I thought he was dying," I replied, sarcastically. "Thankfully, that wasn't the case. Those assholes had just given me something that made me hallucinate the death of my loved ones." I looked down at the tube and tried a different combination. "It almost fully killed me in the process," I muttered underneath my breath.

"You should have died. It would have saved us so much trouble," Meridia said. She looked at her nails but jumped when I slammed my hands against the table. Pure fear filled her eyes as she caught sight of how I looked, and I could tell that she was having second doubts on pushing my buttons.

Anger, pain, fury, and agony filled my body as I stared at her. My whole body was shaking, and I was having trouble on keeping a tight rein on my wolf. I could feel my teeth start to elongate, and all I wanted to do was sink my teeth into her petty neck. "I almost did," I said, my voice sounding rather rough from the growling. "Three times, I have attempted suicide. Only once, I had almost succeeded."

"Ry-"

I held my hand, stopping my brother from talking. I had not told them this, and this was one thing that I had wanted to keep to my grave. "Has Vulcan told you that I started cutting at the age of seven? No? Well, I did. I heard all what you had said to me before, and I do not find it funny. You should be glad that you are Vulcan's mate, because I would have dropped kicked your sorry ass into next week. Don't believe me? Ask Mitchie."

People shifted in their seats, and I knew that they did not like seeing this. Right now, I knew that I became a true monster to them, and it took all of my self control not to just lurch across this table and attack her.

"I have asked myself as to why I am alive so many times that I could write a book. I could write about my journey about trying to become the Red Wolf and let them decide your fate." I shook my head and chuckled, darkly. "But alas, my story is book, and I can't let people decide your fate."

She gulped but didn't say a word.

"This is your wake up call, Sweetheart," I said in mock politeness. "Please, change your attitude, or I will change it for you." I stood and grabbed the tube. "I am sorry that that I have to cut this meeting short, and that you had to see me like this. Excuse me." And with that, I left, slamming the door shut.

A/N: I think I lowkeyed or whatever saying that that this was a book or something. But, what do ya'll think of Meridia? Should Vulcan let Ry beat the shit out of her? What is Vulcan's problem? Did Meridia get him underneath her spell?

Also. Don't be afraid to comment on my book(s). I want to know what ya'll think. I want to know ya'lls shipnames for charries etc. I want to be spammed with messages, even if it is bad. I want to know what ya'll like about the book or don't like about the book. I know my books aren't the best ya'll will find on watt, but I do try. And, I think that that should count. I love talking to people even though I am the most socially awkward person you'll ever meet. xD

Say what you want. Just don't get mad at me if I say something sarcastic or go 'meh oh well'. Just be yourself. :3 I want to know what book you want me to update or don't want me to update. I want love from others just as much as I try to love everyone (including my books).

I think that's it.

Thanks
