Chapter 25 (Edited)
As soon as the door closed and locked, Elder Jeff turned to look at me and folded his arms across his chest. Anger filled his eyes, and I couldn't help but internally wince. "Rylan Regina Reece," he scowled, his voice deadly and calm. "What the fuck were you thinking?"
"Oh, Dear," Delilah said in shock. She placed her hand over her mouth, her eyes wide as she looked between Elder Jeff and I.
"That TJ was hiding something when he came was dressed up like the Prince and knew that I needed to get here, wherever here is," I replied. I blinked, keeping my emotions in check because I did not want Elder Jeff to know what I was thinking.
Elder Jeff huffed and shook his head, rubbing the bridge of his nose. His whole body was tense, and I could tell that this was aging him. "You didn't think of a plan, didn't you? You just threw your-"
"We both know that I do that a lot," I said, interrupting him. "Now, is there anything new besides the Prince being kidnapped." I gave him a look, causing him to grumble about me being stupid.
"I was trying to come up with a plan to ge-"
"We both know that that could cause more people to die," I said, interrupting him, again. "Or your cover blown."
"We need you alive. It doesn't matter if my cover is blown, or if I am dead, Rylan," he said.
"But, I need you alive," I said, snapping. I narrowed my eyes, my Wolf waking. I gritted my teeth together and growled. "You are the only Elder that I can trust. I need you to be here to keep me posted on issues that I need to take care of."
"You haven't talked to any of the others," Elder Jeff grumbled, sighing. He shook his head and huffed. "You are still going to put yourself in danger, aren't you?"
I tried to shrug, but that was kind of hard with my hands above my heads. "Of course," I replied. "Now, is there anything that I need to know?"
"There are people here that have been captured by the Elders. Some of them are to make an army, but others are here to try and change you to..." He glanced at the others in the room.
I grimaced and huffed. "I guess that means that I'm gonna have to try and rescue them. Do you have the keys that I can use to open up the cages? I'd like to save my strength for fighting off guards."
"And, who says that there will be guards?" Elder Jeff asked, raising eyebrow.
"You have to keep your cover, and if you are coming..." I smirked, causing him to groan. "Well, you are going to have to punch me around a bit. We don't want Andrew to think that you are on my side."
"Wait... what is going on?" TJ asked, cocking his head. He looked at me and Elder Jeff, confusion in his eyes. "Am I missing something?"
"Not really," I replied. "Elder Jeff is on my side. He pretends to be on Andrew's side to get information for me." I gave him a pointed look. "Which he hasn't been doing."
"I'll start getting information to you," he muttered. "Or, you can hack into my computer and get it yourself." He narrowed his eyes, amusement flickering through them. "It's not like I haven't noticed."
I shrugged. "To-ma-to, to-mah-to," I replied. "There are more times that I had hacked into your computer, and you haven't noticed it."
Elder Jeff didn't say a word but nodded his head. Worry and apology filled his eyes as he smacked me across my face before punching me in the gut. He ignored the growls from TJ and Marvick before walking away. He pointed at me after he opened the gate door. "And, never forget that you can't win." He winked before walking away.
I spat some blood on the ground and groaned. "I'm so going to hurt him," I mumbled. I huffed and looked at the three others in the cell. "Get ready. We will leave at dawn."

I had my eyes closed when I heard the door being opened, my whole body aching from being in the same position for Goddess knows how long. I moved my hands until I was clutching chains and ripped them out of the ceiling, using some of my strength. I opened my eyes to see a terrified Elder in front of me and smirked when he gulped.
"Shit, that was hot," Mavrick muttered as I launched myself onto the Elder.
Elder Jeff threw the pan he had in his hand at me, causing me to duck and flick the chain at him. A painful groan escaped his lips as the chain wrapped around his leg and fell when I pulled it back. He tried to get his leg untangled but wasn't able to when I launched myself on him.
A painful groan escaped my lips as he delivered a hard kick to my ribs that caused me to back up a few steps. "Fucking hell," I wheezed as he got loose from the chain and attacked me.
Elders were known for their strength and wit when it came to fighting, or were supposed to be known for them. Not only had Elders been top Warriors, but they had been great Alphas during their regime. And, I knew that Elder Jeff knew of my weaknesses but didn't use them to his advantage. He merely made it look like that he had fought me, and I had the upper hand. Even though... I was in chains.
I grabbed his arm when he punched at me and twisted it behind his back. I slammed him against the wall near Delilah, causing her to screech. "Shush," I hissed at her before trying to wrap the silver chain around his neck. I grunted my thanks when he helped put the chain around his neck and felt slightly guilty when I heard him whine out in pain.
Elder Jeff still put up a fight by slamming me into the back of the cell before trying to get out of the chain. He was choking, and I could hear his heart start thunder fast in his chest as he struggled to breathe before he started to relax and slump against me.
"Easy there, big guy," I grunted when I felt him go unconscious. I moved back and let him lay on the ground before taking the silver chains and moving them away from him. After I made sure that he was still breathing, I started to pat him down, hoping that he had stuff for me.
"What are you doing?" Delilah asked amazed as I was trying to find stuff on the Elder.
"Elder Jeff has stuff for me," I replied. I found the keys and was glad to find some that were able to take the chains off of my wrists and tied them around my waist. They would be a good weapon for Werewolves because they were made of silver. After I had found the keys, I found two guns as well as a tranq gun. "Do you know how to shoot, Delilah?" I asked, making sure that there were bullets in both and darts in the tranq gun.
"Yes, why?" Delilah asked, and I could tell that she was cocking her head.
"Because I am going to need you to shoot the gun," I replied. I stuffed one in the back of my jeans and handed the other to her. "If I don't shoot someone with a tranq or knock them out, then they are bad and need to be shot." I stuffed the tranq gun the near my side, because I knew I was going to need that first.
"And, why can't I do that?" TJ asked, raising an eyebrow. He scowled when Delilah took the gun, ignoring his look.
"You need to help carry Princey Boy," I replied. I shifted through his pockets and found a couple of knives and placed them in my boots. After that, I pulled off his shoes to see that there were papers.
"I am not a Prince," Marvick said.
"You sure about that?" I asked, hiding the papers in my boot, also. I looked up at him and smirked when he scowled. "Exactly." I found the secret compartment on his left shoe that he told me about and pulled out three USB drives.
"Then, if I was a Prince, why aren't you respecting me?"
"Because, I don't grovel and grime. I respect you if you respect me. Mine is earned not given," I replied. I stood and went to see what he had on the tray, praying that whatever it was was still good. "Ooh thank Goddess," I said, spying packaged sandwiches. I opened one of them and ate it before stuffing the rest of the food in my pockets. I was going to give it to the people when they were out, but I needed to get out first. "All right. Let's go."
"We can't leave him like that," Delilah said, gesturing to the unconscious Elder.
I looked at him and pursed my lips. "You are right," I said. I took tranq gun and slammed it against the Elder's head to make it look like that I had found a weapon and tried to finish the "job". As soon as I done with that, I dragged the male and hung him to the only non-silver chains in the room. "Now, let's go."
With that, I left room followed by Delilah, TJ and Marvick. I was feeling slightly guilty about leaving Elder Jeff like that, but I needed to make sure that Andrew didn't suspect Jeff was on my side. It was bad enough that the Demon Prince knew...
