Chapter 18 (Edited)

I grunted when I was slammed into a tree before ducking as my opponent slammed his fist into the tree. "Try not to break your hand," I said as the male cussed and held his hand. A small smirk appeared on my face when he playfully glared at me.

Ardi shook his hand before coming at me with a well thought out punch. Unfortunately for him, he took a step forward, so I was able to knock him off balance and almost caused him to fall down hard. "Would you stop," Arfi said in mock anger as I set him somewhat gently on the ground. He tried to grab my legs, only to be kicked back to the ground. "Let me take a hard fall. Your opponent could easily use that against you."

"Good thing that I know when my opponent is an Innocent or not," I said, sarcastically. I ducked underneath his punch and punched his side. I knew that we had said that we were both going to use our full strength for this fight, but I thought better of it. I could easily hurt him, and I wanted to make sure that I would still be "trusted".

"Was that your full strength?" Ardi groaned, clutching his side. He grimaced and pursed his lips as he tried to find a weakness from me. "That ducking hurt." He stood but didn't try to attack just yet.

"Ducking?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. "And, no." I nodded to where the Alpha and his son were watching me like hawks. I could sense all of the pack Warriors watching me, and I knew that I had to hold back. "They would try to kill me if I did."

Ardi frowned at his Alpha's before cursing when I slammed my fist into his nose, causing it to bleed. "Damn it," he said, clutching his nose. "That hurt."

"That wasn't my full strength either," I said, kicking his legs from underneath him. "Vulcan is the only one that I used my full strength on. Bastard keeps taunting me."

"But I taunt you," Liam called out from where he was leaning against a tree. "You don't use your full strength on me. Nor, Rhett."

It's because I know that you two don't mean it, I thought, glancing up into the tree to see Vulcan and his Beloved, Meridia looking over us. Some days, I don't know if he is or not. I groaned when Ardi slammed his fist into my jaw, breaking it. I quickly grabbed his arm before he had time to bring it back and flipped him over me before putting my feet on his back and holding onto his arm as if to break it.

"Oowww, sorry, I thought you were paying attention," Ardi groaned out. "I submit. Don't break my arm."

I scoffed and let him up only to be pushed by this wind that I couldn't escape. My only thought was to protect the group, so I made a fire wall around them as I started to choke on the air around me.

When I was on the verge of passing out, I was somehow allowed to get air into my lungs. My whole body shook from exhaustion as I took in a deep and painful breath.

"You stupid bitch!" a familiar female voice yelled. "You almost killed her!"

I let my power die down some, still making sure that the pack was away from whatever the hell that just happened. My whole body was shaking, and I didn't even try to lift my head up. I had no energy to lift my head up to see who was yelling and in too much pain to tell them to shut up.

"Why did you let yer not pass out, Tabitha?" another female asked, seething. "She was hurting him."

'Ry let down your please please,' Coop said, his voice strained. Anger and fear filled it, and I knew that he thought I was badly injured.

I let the fire wall die down around everyone and collapsed because of the amount of energy I had used. I growled a warning when someone touched me and was about to punch them when the person chuckled.

"Easy there, Holmes," the person teased. "Open your eyes."

I opened my eyes to see Percy and Perry staring at me, both of them nervous, because they knew I did not want to see them. I glared at Percy, because I had specifically told him to stay with the packs. I did not know if they would try to do something, but I didn't want to find out.

Percy held his hands up in mock surrender. "My parents wanted me to come," he saId, nodding his head in greeting to my mate as he walked over to us. "Don't worry, I left some trusted Warlocks with the pack

"Parents?" Cooper asked, pulling me towards him. He took in my scent, relaxing himself before he looked at Percy and Perry. Both of us were confused, because we didn't know his parents.

"Ya, his parents are the King and Queen," Perry said. He took hold of my jaw and shook his head. "You need to pay attention," he teased. "We had told you about the King and Queen, and I can see that you didn't remember."

Percy scoffed and shoved Perry away before taking a look at my jaw. "I am going to have my mom take care of that. I still can't heal properly." He smild apologetically, and I just waved him off, telling him that it was fine.

I glanced to where I heard the yelling and saw two females, the Witch Queen and the Fae Queen, about to fight. Both of their mates were glaring at each other, and i knew that they would start a fight as well. The Werewolf King, Queen, and their... son stood to the side and watched everything that was going on.

"She is the cause of our pain," the Fae Queen said. "Why are you protecting her?"

"She saved my daughter's life, even if it was an accident to getting there in the first place," the Witch Queen said. "And, what had happened is not her fault, nor is it Aednat's." She was about to attack but stopped when I made a firewall between them and their mates. The Witch Queen turned to look at me and scowled. Rage filled her eyes, and I knew that she didn't like it that I stopped them both from fighting.

"Mom, can you just heal her jaw please?" Percy asked, slightly amused. "And where is Callie?" He looked around, his brow furrowing when he didn't spy her.

I looked around and didn't find my son. My heart pounded in my chest, and I was nervous as to what he gotten into. I didn't want to lose him, like I had lost his mother in the accident. I had sworn to protect her son and treat him like my own, which was exactly what I was planning on doing.

Cooper caught my look and whistled a tune that his dad used to call the four of us when we were younger. 'Jonah is our son, not just yours, Ry,' he said, teasingly. He nodded to where rustling came from a bush and out popped both a pup and a girl. 'And that is why I took him out, also. I want him to know when to come to us.'

I sent him a grateful look and scowled at the Pup that came over to me, and I couldn't help but smile when he gave me an apologetic look. A grunt escaped my lips when I was plowed over and hugged Percy's sister closer to me. It had been a while since I had seen her, and I was glad that she was doing all right.

"Callie, get off of her please. Let me heal that jaw for her," the Queen said. She watched as Callie got off but stayed close to me as well as Jonah. "It's good to see you again, Red Wolf," she said, touching my jaw.

The pain in my jaw stopped hurting, and I sighed with relief when I was able to move it. "It is good to see you again, Your Highness," I said. "I forgot you were Percy's mom."
