Chapter 15 (Edited)
A/N: So, I think the next chapter I planned out is in ya'lls favorite vampire's POV. Idk If not, then it might be Ry's. I need to go over what I want to write.

I made it back to the packhouse with no more injuries, thankfully. My shoulder was still bleeding, and I knew that I was going to have to get stitches.
"So, what do you do as the Red Wolf?" a pack warrior asked, walking up to me. "I am Adrian by the way. I go by Ardi."
I glanced at the male, and I could tell that he was around twenty years. He stood at 6'4 and was muscular built with brown eyes and wavy blonde hair. He looked relaxed around my presence, unlike the rest of the pack. "Rylan, and I go by Ry," I said. "And, I do basically the same thing as other Wolves. I train, cook, clean, and play pranks on my friends." I shrugged my shoulder. "The only thing that is special about me is the fact that I can control fire."
"And, you get captured plenty of times but manage to escape with little to no help," Rhett said, walking over to me. He gave the 6'4 a glance over, becoming protective. His whole body was tense, and I could tell that he did not like Ardi hanging around me.
"You have a super power too," I retorted, causing the male to raise his eyebrow. "Big brother mode activated." I rolled my eyes, frowning. "You know I can take care of myself."
"And get bullied. You still don't trust people that well, even if you help them." He gave me a pointed look.
Adri snorted, and I could tell that he was shocked. "You get bullied? Why?"
"Being a "Dud" and having people say that I killed my parents is pretty much a big reason," I replied. I shook my head and sighed, my fingers itching to touch my scars. "One of the big people that I am after killed them when I was five. I was fairly well liked before then."
"I have heard about that," another pack member said. "Is that why you didn't train with the pack?"
"Sorta," I said, honestly. "I had started training when I was I think thirteen years old and trained with my old Alpha, whom I had called Uncle." My heart ached for my adopted father, and I missed him so much. One of the reasons why I trained so hard was because I didn't want the people that died for me to die in vain.
"We are going to do some hard training for a couple of days, Ry. You're going to need it with all the planning and stuff you have been doing."
I rolled my eyes at him and turned to where both Melina and Dominic were watching us. "See, I have a protective brother too. The only difference is that I protect him more than he does me."
"No, you don't," Rhett argued. "My title and position is basically "Protector"." He gave me a duh look, causing me to push his face away.
"Yes, I do. I protected you from that bee."
Rhett shut up, and I saw his neck turned red as he started to blush. "I thought you said you wouldn't talk about that," he mumbled as some of the Warriors snickered.
I shrugged. "I am your little sis," I replied. "I have to embarrass you."
Rhett raised an eyebrow. "Oh, do you want to talk about embarrassing things?" he asked. "I know a couple of good stories about you."
"And I know some good stories about you," I replied. I looked to the front to see my mate, the actual Alpha of this pack, and his Beta. "And, we will have to talk about it later."
Rhett took a hold of my hand and squeezed it reassuringly. He could tell that I was nervous about facing the actual Alpha, because he was the one that I had to convince of being good and working in the interest of the pack.

"Red Wolf Rylan," the Alpha said. He scowled and looked me up and down, and I could tell that he was going to be tough to persuade.
"Alpha Barker," I said, nodding my head and taking my hand out of my brother's. "Thank you for the invitation to come." I frowned when i heard a 'yip' and a black Pup ran out of the house and jumped up on me. "Jonah," I scowled, picking him up. "I thought we had placed you with my Aunt."
Jonah whined and laid his head on my shoulder. He tried to move closer to me, and I knew that he was trying to say that he wanted to stay with me.
I huffed and looked at Coop to see that he was watching us with a goofy grin. 'Someone wants Pups,' I said to Rhett, causing him to snort.
'Ya, me. I want to-'
The door opened and Gigi looked around with frantic eyes. "Did a Pup jus-" She stopped when she saw Jonah in my arms. Relief filled her eyes and she let out a sigh of relief, placing her hand on her heart. "Thank Goddess," she said. "He scared me running off like that."
"Don't stress out our son too much," Rhett said. Love and adoration appeared on his face while his mate and mine walked over to us. He grinned innocently when Gigi glared at him and kissed the glare off. "I am going with my sister on this one. She has guessed the genders of babies in the past."
Gigi rubbed her belly and glared playfully at me. "I hate you sometimes."
"You love me." I turned to look at Alpha Barker and saw him giving us a thoughtful look. He placed a blank look over his face when he caught me staring and raised an eyebrow. "Would it be alright if I get my shoulder checked out and take a shower before we do our meeting? I know that you want to see what I have to offer as protection and stuff before the Royals come tomorrow."
"What happened to your shoulder?" He frowned, looking confused.
'I think we need to make sure that their borders are protected and both Alpha's know what is going on in their Pack. I do not know why those Rogues got in,' I said to the group of Protectors.
"There was a Rogue problem," Dominic said. "The Red Wolf killed them all before we could question any." He glared and sneered at me in disgust.
"I can still be turned to evil, Young Alpha," I warned. "If the people really want me to turn, then all they need me to do is drink an Uninnocent's blood. That is why I did not let any of them stay alive."
"Are all Red Wolves born evil?" Ardi asked. He was curious, and I could tell that he meant no harm with the question.
"If they terrorize their older siblings, then they are," Rhett replied, playfully glaring at me.
"I love you, Brudder," I said. I smiled innocently, causing him to snort. "To answer your question, Ardi, is no. They can only become evil when they drink the blood of an Uninnocent. That is how Aedant became evil."
"And why should we help you, if you become evil? You are just going to kill us," Dominic said.
"I have ordered one of my Protectors to kill me before that happened," I said. "I can not let someone die by my own hands. Too many people all ready died because I did not know what I was." I let that sink in and sighed, running my forehead. "Can we get my shoulder checked out? I know that you have questions but I want a shower and my arm to not keep bleeding."
Alpha Barker nodded his head before moving to the side. "Of course," he said. "Enjoy your stay, Red Wolf." He gestured for Ardi to move forward. "Ardi will show you around."
I nodded and started to follow Ardi as he lead us. "Thank you, Alpha Barker," I said when I got level with him. "I hope that you will be able to see that I will not hurt you."
"I hope that you can prove that to me."
