The shadow of the night had faded. The camp that he had once feared was far behind him. All night he ran through the thick fog and mud. His attempt to escape Alpha and his men seemed to work but at a cost, he was all alone. For hours he beat himself up over leaving them behind, he wanted to stay, he wanted to fight, but he knew he couldn't. The dream he had that night of the mystical dragon seemed so real, in many ways it didn't seem like a dream at all, more like a vision. But this theory of the dragon being real was the only information he had about the island. For months he had stayed in the one place, never leaving the camp not even once. Now that he was deep into the island he didn't know what to expect. The first things he saw beyond the fog was thing he expected. Dark tall trees and tiny patches of snow scattered around the place. The landscape of the island didn't seem to different from the East. Around three hours into his escape he found what appeared to be a village. Because of the rain of fog he couldn't make out much detail of it but he knew it was real and not in his hunger deprived mind. Looking deeper into it revealed that it was destroyed, not by a battle or attack but by age. Nature had completely over taken some houses, some others were withered away, only piles of wood were left behind. One house caught his attention. It was probably the biggest in the whole village but surprising the least damaged. He crawled his way inside and collapsed onto the floor, hours of running without a break had taken a tole on his body. The rain seeped through the withered roof but that didn't bother him, it was far better then being outside. He curled into a tiny ball in the corner of the room, the sadness of abandoning his friends had finally started to hit him. For hours he sobbed into his arm, the sound of the rain just barely blocking out his cries. After what seemed like an eternity to his young mind he finally fell asleep, forgetting about all the problems in his life, at peace.
The next day he woke in a panic, just like the night before he had dream. Well this one was more of a nightmare, just recaps of the horrors that plagued his life. Not wanting to dwell on the past he left the rotted house and checked his surroundings. The houses that surrounded him were now more visible. One thing he hadn't noticed during the night was the bones. There were skulls and spines littered all in the grass, seemly random. The sight of the bones sent a shiver down his spine. He thought to himself how old this village was and what was its purpose. He had no idea how long bones lasted before withering away into nothing so he had no clue how recent bones were. Once he finally stopped obsessing with the bones he looked past the village to the surrounding forest. The view of the tall, lifeless trees instantly reminded him of the dream. There was no doubt in his mind that he was on the right track, well he needed to believe or anyway. He walked away from the village and into the forest, deeper and deeper he went.
He had no way of telling the time since the fog blocked the sky. All he could do was guess over what time it was and whether he was going the right way or not. From his guess he had been walking for an hour straight in one direction. He was certain that he was heading towards the mountains, if he was wrong that he had seriously messed up. Going hours without food or water he started to hit him and badly. At random he would spot a figure out of the corner of his eye. But once he had gone for a double check nothing would be there. It was safe to say that he was starting to lose his mind, he was sure that it was due to the lack of water but he had a hunch there was something else to it, something supernatural. Something brought him to a standstill, up ahead was something new. A large hole in the ground, it looked as if something crash landed into the ground. At first he assumed that it was just his mind playing tricks on him again, but, the closer it got the more it looked real. Once he reached the creators edge he knew for certain that this was real, no illusion or trickery. He stared down into the creator below and almost gasped in shock. The ancient remains of what appeared to be a dragon were at the bottom, withered and forgotten. It was sad but also comforting sight, to him this confirmed his dream theory. The dragon he saw in the dream had to be real. Like a mad man he screamed out into the empty forest.
"HEY. HEY. I'M HERE!" He waited but heard nothing in response.
"PLEASE!" He screamed as loud as he could.
"ITS ME... FROM THE DREAM." No response. After sitting in silence for a minute he finally felt defeated. The lack of energy and will to go on were as strong as ever. The world around him started to fade away, the fog darkened and his mind slowed down. He fell limp into the creator, landing at the tail of the dragon. Although he was unwilling to move he could still slightly see. The view above was of the creators edges and the tall trees reaching the sky. He lied there for maybe another hour, just lost in his thoughts and finally accepting the fact that his dream meant nothing, that he had gotten himself killed for nothing. He thought about what if he stayed to be taken by Alpha, would death in the camp be as bad as the one he suffered here... He didn't know. An outline in the fog above caught his attention. At this point he had no interest in it. The sound of a great flapping grew louder and louder as the outline grew in size. His mind finally pieced together what it was. He erupted into a laughing fit. This was the one bit of joy in his dark world. He didn't care if the dragon came down and ate him at that point, he was just happy that it was actually real. Before he could see the dragon in its entirety he passed out. the last thing he felt was a cold grip wrap around then his body then... Nothing.

Lucias paced around outside of the cell. In his head he thought of lines to use to win over Tara but deep down he knew he would need to improvise. After his talk with Amelia Russel had approached him and gave him some extra details for his first assignment. The main fact was that he needed to manipulate her into thinking she had always been part of the Order. With that information he knew he could easily do it, the truth was he didn't know if it wanted to. Tara was such a young girl and quite frankly he didn't feel comfortable with the assignment. But if he didn't do this one thing for the Queen then his whole deal with her would of been for nothing. He breathed in twice then entered the cell.
The first thing he noticed was how dark the room was, Tara was even visible to him. The only light came from the doors hatch behind him. It created a shadow that he assumed casted over Tara. Slowly he stepped out of the way so light could be let into the room. Just as he thought, there she was. She was sitting on the end of the bed, face down towards the ground. The second the doors light hit her face she hissed. Lucias walked over in confusion, blocking the light unintentionally. Within seconds she calmed down, it took him a few seconds to realize that something was wrong with her. The blonde hair that he knew her for was gone, instead it was pure white, much like the Queens. Her wolf ears were still intact, matching the color of her hair. One thing that stood out to him was her eyes. They were the color of a Vampires, a glowing yellow. She also had tiny fangs, everything about her appearance seemed wrong. He spoke in the calmest voice he could.
"Tara, right?" She responded in a head tilt.
"Y...Yes. That's me." Her voice sounded unsure and monotoned. Lucias breathed in and thought of what to say next.
"Do you know what your purpose Is-"
"Why am I in a cell..." She had cut him off before he could finish. The tone in her voice was harsh and demanding, much like the Queens. Lucias stuttered with his words.
"Well... um- You are here because of what you've become."
"What am I!" She asked in a scared tone.
"No No nothing bad.. Your just... different, different that's all."
"Different?" Her voice was now calm and curious.
"You..." He paused and thought of what to say.
"You are something new... Something this world has never seen before."
"Why. Why am I like this?"
"Don't you remember." He did the best fake smile he could.
"You heard of the Orders plans and wanted to contribute. You wanted to be an example of what peace between races looks like." Tara's ears flicked the word Order.
"Order?"
"Yeah, The Order of Blood. Don't be alarmed by the name its meant to represent the blood that was lost in the past. The Orders goal is to bring peace between races all over the land. You and I are in the Order." He stated.
"What is your role. If im an example of peace then who are you?" Her voice remained curious. He smiled for real and sighed.
"My role is to help you remember your past. It may take time but I will be with you every step of the way." Tara giggled and smiled. She stared at him with a look he would never forget, one of complete trust.
"Really?" Lucias looked down at the ground and nodded before replying.
"Really." She smiled and lent him and gave him a hug. This caught him by surprise, the longer the hug lasted the more the guilt ran through his body.
"Now, you and I have a job." He leaned away from her, she stared at him with a confused look.
"The Queen wants to show the people, you, since you are the first of your kind." Tara pulled away and seemed to be concerned.
"I...I don't know..."
"Don't worry Tara. Ill be with you, every step of the way." He smiled and she smiled back. With slight hesitation she grabbed his hand and he helped her off the bed. Before they left the room he wrapped his long blue scarf over her face like a hood. This was to protect her skin from the harsh suns light.
He led her through the castle, first going through the many hallways and finally reaching the throne room. The people they passed on the way gave her strange looks that made her feel unease and threatened. Every time Lucias noticed her like this he reassured her, telling her they were just surprised and she'll stop getting those sort of looks soon enough. They had reached the large door that separated the throne room to the world outside. Tara's hand shook in fear, Lucias looked down at her and gave her one more bit of reassurance.
"Just remember, I'm here, every step of the way." Although Tara was concerned deep down she nodded and tightened her grip. Seconds later the larges doors opened out, the light from outside hit Tara's eyes and she looked to the ground in pain. She wasn't able to see what was ahead but Lucias could. At the bottom of the stairs that led to the kingdom were hundreds, maybe even thousands of people. The screams of joy could be heard from the castle. Seeing a view like that made Lucias breath heavily, his palms got sweaty and he felt unease.
"Are you alright?" Tara asked.
"Yeah i'm fine." He pulled his hand away from hers to wipe his sweaty palms.
"Just a little nervous." His hand dropped back to his side.
"Don't worry. Your here for me and ill be here for you." She grabbed his hand. Lucias began to tear up a little, guilt had taken the better of him. He knew that manipulating such a sweet soul was the worst thing he had ever done, he would never be forgiven his actions. But for his Queen... He had to. He tightened his grip and slowly led her down the stairs and towards the people.
