Francis ran through the mining yard, doing his best not to run into anyone. The Ork from eariler stared him down as he ran passed him. He entered the guards sleeping quaters, these sleeping quaters were also him and Sirens. First he checked her room but she wasnt there, her belongings were gone so he assmued that she must of been with Alpha. He opened the door to the leave the room and on the other side was Siren, she was just about to enter.
"Francis... What are you doing in my room?" She confusingly asked. Francis brushed past her and poked his head out in the hallway, he looked both directions to make sure no one was near by. Once he knew for sure thats when he pulled Siren inside, making sure the door was shut as he did so.
"Ok you better start explaining yourself." She sat on the end of her bed and stared at him. Francis thought of how to start his sentance, this silence only pissed her off even more.
"I was watching the clearing just before, beautiful like always. Anyways I heard something come from the moutains, it sounded like a large creatures roar." Siren stared at him for a few moments, not knowing if he was joking or being serious.
"So what?" She asked.
"What do you mean so what, we have to find it." Siren sighed when he said that.
"Why on earth would we try and find it."
"Because... It could be something incredible, something you would only see once in your life."
"Ok ok, let me get this straight. You suposingly heard a roar come from the moutains and your first thought is to try and locate it, even though if it were real it would probably kill you." This made him silent, Siren's face was just like his mums whenever he would suggest something stupid. He stuttered, trying to think of a good response. Before any more words could be shared the door creeked open, the both of them imedently turned to the door. Stood there with his arms crossed was Alpha. His hair was slicked back like always, being redder then ever. He wore a heavy set of dark armor, the Orders symbol being present on the chest plate.
"What are you doing here." He glared at Francis with angry eyes.
"Oh, um, sorry master. I was just talking to Siren about..." He struggled with what to say, luckily Siren finished his sentance.
"About the clearing, how beautiful it was." Her voice was calm and collected while Francis' was rushed and mumbley. Alpha looked at the two of them for a few seconds before stepping closer.
"Did I ask you to answer for him Siren." His voice was calm but had a great sense of power to it.
"No Master." Alpha stared at Siren with a look of lust. He smiled and said at loud.
"Francis. Go to your room, I'll see you tomorrow." Alpha's eyes remained glued to Siren. Francis knew that Alpha was going to do something bad to her, all he wanted to do was save her from this nightmare but he couldn't. With one arm he couldn't do a lot of things anymore, one of those was fighting. If he were to oppose Alpha one day he would need to use his mind and not his brawn. He slowly left the room, making sure the door was shut as he left. The second he was out of the room he heard a struggle from the other side. This filled him with anger, all he wanted to do now was go back in there but he knew it wasn't smart. He stood there with his hand on the door knob, contemplating whether to go back in or not. Right as he was about to enter a hand grabbed him from behind, he turned in a panic and faced whoever it was.

The woman who grabbed him was an elvish woman, young in appearance and medium length red hair.
"What are you doing in front of Sirens room." She spoke in a rushed and angry tone.
"Relax im a friend of hers. Who are you?"
"Venessa, also a friend of hers." She stared at the door then back at Francis.
"Why arent you going in?"
"Alpha..." He looked down in shame. Venessa clenched her fist tightly, just like Francis she hated how Alpha used Siren but the two of them couldnt do anything.
"Come with me." She held out her hand for him, it became akward when she realized that the arm she tried reaching for wasnt there.
"Oh i'm sorry."
"Dont be." His voice was motionless, she got the impression that everyone had made that mistake with him. The two of them walked away from the room in silence, Francis still felt bad for Siren and didnt want to say a word. Venessa looked at his stomp again and asked.
"Do you know Drake by any chance?"
"I met him eariler today, he's a scary man." Venessa laughed and replied.
"You can say that again. Well him and I are friends and he told me about the crippled boy, said that he enjoyed his company."
"Really?"
"Yeah said you were a nice kid." She went silent out of the blue, Francis turned to her. She looked as if she was hiding something so Francis simply asked.
"Something wrong?"
"Uhh, well. If I tell you something you arent allowed to tell anyone, got it."
"Yeah?"
"And I mean it, if I find out you told anyone I would have to kill you."
"Jesus alright. Just tell me." Venessa looked around in all directions before stopping, she turned to him with a serious look on her face.
"For months myself, Drake, Siren and a few others have planned an escape. We know the slave ship is arriving tomorrow so we plan to sneak aboard and later hijack it." Francis stayed silent, A look of confusion was all he had in response.
"If your a friend of Siren's like you said you were I think she would want you to come."
"If thats the case why didnt she tell me sooner?"
"I... I dont know." Francis nodded, deep down the fact that Siren would leave without saying goodbye hurt.
"So. Would you like to join us." He thought for a moment, the answer was obvious but he still wanted to think it over.
"Yeah."
"Ok good. Meet me at Sirens room tomorrow night, get there before midnight."
"Got it." He smiled and she smiled back. Not to look any more suspisous she walked off to do her own thing, he still stood there however. This seemed to good to be true, he had dreamed of escaping that hellhole and going home but never thought he actually could. Now that he thought about it, what was even left of his home. All he knew was that Evenora was under Amelia's control, his siblings could possibly be dead. Was there even anything left for him back on the main land?

Francis tossed and turned in his bed, winds howled outside and rain hit hard against the wooden walls. It had been a full day since his talk with Venessa, during that time he acted normal around Alpha, doing his best to not raise any alarm. the whole time he pondered on the escape plan. Even in his sleep he still had fears regarding the plan, if it didn't work what would they do to him. Whatever it was it probably wasn't as bad as what's already happened. It was still somewhat light out so he didn't need to leave yet, he had a few hours before midnight. His curious mind drifted to many different places. First he could see the wolf village again, in its prime not ashes. That memory faded away into the Trident Fall ruins. He stood on the bridge looking towards the castle. In this dream he was having he had both his arms, it felt like he had never lost one. The demons words he had heard all those months ago could be heard all around him, he tried to pin point what once said but couldn't, there were to many. The landscape started to shift again, in only seconds the bridge turned into a thick forest. Instantly he remember his surrounds, it was the same forest from the dream caused by the demon. In the distance was also the same pond that he saw the man in blue, this time the man was no where to be seen. Unlike the other dream he couldn't move around, it was like he was a spectator to whatever show this was. Without warning a great flame from the sky surrounded him, the whole forest caught fire in seconds while he stood in a circle, the fire swirled around him but never touched him. He heard the same roar from earlier but only louder, it echoed through the burning forest. His vision darkened for only a second, after the darkness lifted the surrounding had changed. The once lively forest he was in now was one of dead trees and torment. He turned to his side and observed the view, just by seeing snow covered mountains he could tell where he was... Dragons End. The mist that normally covered the whole island had vanished. From where he stood he could easily see the camp in the distant, it looked beautiful from where he stood, making him forget the horrors that dwelled there. A massive gust of wind coming from behind him knocked him down to the ground. He turned to see what caused it and was surprised, really surprised. A large white dragon hoovered high above the ground, its wings were slightly ripped and it had armor on its head, silver armor. Every flap of its wings almost tore down the rotten trees. The dragon stared at him with its black eyes. If a normal person was put in the situation they would normally scream or run but this was different. He had always wanted to see a dragon, as a kid he heard all the stories of the battle of Winter and the Dragon Wars. Seeing one even in a dream was incredible. The dragon began to lower to the ground, once it landed it crawled its way over to Francis. He still didn't fear, still had a large smile across his face. The dragon stopped and leaned his head in, Francis was in arms distant of its giant snout. His smile fell once he heard the dragon speak.
"Daniel?" This shock Francis to his core, why did it speak and why did it ask for his father. Francis tried everything he could to respond but no words came from his mouth.
"No. Not Daniel. Someone new." The dragons voice resembled Drakes but in only the fact that it was deep. This dragons voice was like nothing he had ever heard before. Francis started to scream now, still nothing came out. He tried over and over but to no avail. In seconds the world around him started to darken, first the mountains vanished, then the trees, then the dragon and finally himself.

He woke in a sweat, he looked in all directions to make sure he wasn't in another dream. What he had just dreamt was like nothing he had ever experienced before, it felt so real. More then anything he wanted to relive the dream but knew that was highly unlikely. The rain still hit hard on the walls, just from the lack of light he could tell that quite a bit of time had passed. He got up and put on his green leather jacket in a rush. The second he opened the sound of rain and wind got stronger, the ceiling leaked quite a lot, beneath him were puddles of rain water. This just added on to how much he hated this place. Quietly he snuck around the hallway, doubling checking each door to see which one Sirens was. Since he just woke up and the fact it was so dark made it hard for him to tell. He walked for a few minutes before a door on his right caught his attention. The faintest of lights shone through under the door, the location of this door also felt familiar to him. With carefully knocked twice and whispered.
"Its me Francis." When he spoke he made sure to look to around, just in case a guard was around. Suddenly the door opened and a hand pulled him inside. In Siren small room were five people not including him. There were the people he already knew like Siren, Drake and Venessa. But the two others were strangers to him, he might of seen them around the camp before but he didn't know them by name.
"Thought you would never come kid." Drake stated.
"Sorry."
"It's all good." Said Siren. When he noticed the bruised eye and the cuts on her checks it enraged him, but he kept his thoughts to himself, not wanting to cause a scene. Venessa spoke in her rough outgoing voice.
"Right, what we need to do is very simple. We take out the guards at the gate, open it up slightly so we can get to the pier, sneak aboard the boat and take out anyone on it, then we should be good." One of the strangers spoke up.
"How are we meant to sail in this weather." The guy who spoke was a normal human and looked to be in his late forties.
"Well before I was taken here I was a pirate. Well before this camp was built I used to come to Dragons End, mainly to collect special items hidden way deep in the dead forests." Just hearing about the forest reminded Francis of his dream, he knew it was something best kept to himself. Venessa continued with her speech.
"I should be able to get us out of here easily, day or night, rainy or dry." She smiled and leaned back in the chair, obviously proud with her little speech. The man who questioned her went silent.
"Does everyone have their belongings." Everyone in the room nodded. Drake continued.
"Good. If your worried about food then don't be. Earlier today the ship was restocked for its trip back to Ravenmire." Everyone nodded once more.
"Well if that's everything then lets just go." Everyone apart from Francis wrapped their bags around their bags, he didn't have any personal belongings to take. They all left the room quietly walked through the hallway. The six of them didn't know if this plan would work but they all knew they at least had to try, if they died they still won, death was worse then the caves below they all thought. Francis thought differently however, he had been treated slightly better then the others but still bad. All he knew was that he had no home to go back too, it was taken by the Order. His only hope was to start anew with these people, hopefully anyway.
