It had been three months since he first arrived at Dragons End, Siren also told him that they had been traveling for a total of two months before that. The amount of time that had passed since the demon escaped didn't feel real, nothing felt real anymore to him. The day he arrived at the camp was full of dread, because of his physical state he feared that the guards would torture him, after all he had no use. To his surprise the leader of the camp treated him with kindness, his name was Alpha. Alpha was a wolf like he was, around the same age as Elliot was. Every word he spoke was soothing, his voice was like silk and it provided Francis with the kindness he deserved. Alpha was warned of Francis' condition and had made a special role at the camp for him, it was to be Alpha's personal servant. Francis accepted this role right away, compared to mining endlessly he seemed to have lucked out. The following three months on a surface level were great for him, he was treated with kindness by Alpha, never talked down on. But in a deeper level he knew this place wasn't right, the prisoners were treated poorly and it was common for at least two to die a week. That didn't matter anyway because twenty new prisoners were shipped in every month. Francis being the kid he was tried to make friends with some of the other prisoners, he had no luck however. All of the prisoners saw Francis as a spoiled kid who should be in the caves with him, not beside their master. The first month Francis was happy to have the role he had but over time knew that it wasn't right, he could tell something was off about Alpha. Everyone he had met in the Order were cold and unforgiving, Alpha was everything opposite. As much as he didn't want to believe it he could tell Alpha was fake, he new something evil lingered in that wolf, he was just lucky not to see it. Siren stayed at Francis' side during all those months, she to was also assigned to be Alpha's personal assistant. When Francis was in the same room as them both everything seemed fine, he acted kind towards her just he like had done the same for Francis. But every once and a while Siren would give him a concerned look, her eyes were always tired and every other day she would have a new bruise somewhere on her body. Once Francis pieced together that Alpha must of been doing that to her was when he finally realized that he was a fake. Escaping from the island, which he thought of many times, was impossible. If you could get past the hundred guards where would you go, beyond the camp was an endless sea. Francis had considered escaping deeper into the island. Most of the time the path that led further into Dragons End would be shrouded in fog, but once a month the fog would clear and the true scale of the island would be revealed. It was a sight to behold for everyone in the camp, prisoners and guards alike would stop what they were doing and look at the view. Mountains that reached the skies, a forest of dead tries that covered the landscape of the island, it was beautiful to see. It was known as the clearing and only lasted a few hours during on day of the month. The latest clearing was coming up very shortly for Francis, this and Sirens company were now the only things he looked forward to in life. Although him and Siren had the same job they would very rarely spent time together, Alpha preferred to only have one assistant at a time.

Francis walked through the mining yard, trying his best to avoid little holes and forgotten tools. In his hand was a large bowl filled with a disgusting soup, he was unsure on what was in it but knew it was probably the worst thing you could ever have. He reached one of the largest holes in the whole yard, every few seconds a grunt from down below could be heard, followed by dirt flying out of the hole.
"Excuse me sir, I've got your food." His voice was shy and timed. The grunting from below stopped, seconds later a pickaxe flew out of the hole and landed on the ground, narrowly avoiding Francis. Two large grey hands reached out and grabbed the soil. What pulled itself out was a massive monster of a man. His whole body was a grey color but it was hard to tell from all the mud and dirt. Two sets of large tusks shot out from his bottom jaw, they too had mud on them. The large man had no hair and a face full of scars. His chest also had scars scattered all over it, even in the freezing conditions the man had no need for a shirt.
"Let me guess, the same old shit." The mans voice was unnaturally deep, it had a little lisp every time he spoke. Francis didn't dare speak in case the man would snap him in two, he just handed him the bowl and walked off. The large man tipped his food into the dirt then stared at Francis.
"Oi, come back here." As much as he feared the man he complied, turned to face him but still keeping distance between the two.
"What's the story." He pointed his large meaty finger towards Francis' stump. Looking down at the stump reminded him of everything bad that happened the past five months, thinking about it almost sent him into a panic. He did his best to reply without sounding scared or weak.
"The King. He took it as punishment." The man nodded and stepped closer.
"Punishment for what?" He asked. Francis didn't respond, he didn't know how to respond, the only crime he committed was being related to the previous Queen.
"Ah so nothing. Don't worry that's the answer for most of the people here, including me. The kings men found me naked in a bed with ten guys and girls, oh what a night. According to them I was being arrested for treason, I didn't even fucking know we had a new king. No, in truth they arrested me because I'm an Ork." Francis seemed to be confused by what an Ork meant, the man sighed in response and explained.
"Orks like myself come from the Land of The Phoenix, being honest it wasn't the best place so I left. I visited Karn before I got to Staeso, that place was alright but not somewhere I would settle down. I liked Staeso till this change in leader ship."
"I can agree with that." Francis said with a small smile on his face. The Ork turned towards the hole he was working on and started to climb back down, Francis understood that he didn't want to talk anymore, but deep down he had one more question.
"Hey, um, What's your name?" The Ork stopped climbing down and turned towards him, his face was emotionless and gave Francis the sense of fear.
"Drake." He grabbed the tool next to him and dropped down.

Francis left the mining field and went to one of the tallest buildings in all the camp, it was the prisoners sleeping quarters but the building itself was unfinished. The prisoners quarters at that moment were in the mines deep below the camp, he had never actually seen the cave systems below the base but always was reminded of them. According to Alpha they were a place of darkness and decay, he always reminded him how he's lucky to be his servant and he should always treat him as his Alpha. The reason why Francis went to this building in specific was to witness the clearing from the best possible view. He went up the half built stairs and reached the top floor, a large wall facing towards the clearing was missing, the perfect view for him. He carefully stepped across the wooden boards and made it to the open wall, carefully sitting down and hanging his legs over the side. From this angle most people would be able to see him from down below but that didn't worry him, he knew all their attention would be directed at something else.

He waited for ten minutes for the event to happen, it felt like years to his young mind but eventually he saw what he was waiting for. The thick layer of mist cleared all around the camp. The sight he grew to love blessed his eyes again. The landscape was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen, even more beautiful then his home. The large mountain tops and the dead forests were all in view. They were amazing to look at but also haunting. The fact that no one had truely explored this place bewildered him. If he was ever free from this camp he would explore all of it, that was one of his goals. He looked down below only for a moment, like always all the other workers had stopped what they were doing to observe the clearing. One thing he could see from this height was a old path, most of it looked to be over grown but he could still make it out what it was. This made him rethink the fact that the island was explored, maybe people did venture through Dragons End, if so, where were they now. A faint cry from the clearing caught his attention, causing his wolf ears to spike up. He looked down at the people below to see if they responded to the noise, they stood there motionless. He glared towards the clearing again and waited, hoping to hear the noise again. After a minute of nothing his hope quickly faded, but then there it was a again. This time it sounded louder, this really peaked his interest. A few seconds after he heard the noise one more time, after that, silence. Thinking about it more raised questions, it was some sort of creatures roar he heard there was no doubt about it, the question was, what creature. After five months of hell this quickly became the most exciting thing to happen to him, theorizing about this gave him hope, maybe something more rested in the mountain tops. He believed it was his job to find out.

The sound of the metal hatch sliding woke her up, the bright light she had grown to hate beamed onto her face. She groaned as she sat up, since her and Amelia's last encounter she hadn't said a word. She had no fear, all she knew was she followed the Queens orders and stayed silent. Two unknown voices from the other side of the door could be heard, she couldn't make out what they were said. Seconds later the door flew open, the two guards lunged towards her. She kicked back at the men, tried everything to stop them but it was no use, they easily overpowered her. One of the men detached the chain from her ankle while the other threw her over his shoulder. She screamed and begged for them to let her go but no one listened. They left her cell and walked down a long hallway, it felt like hours for her young troubled mind.

Minutes passed and they finally reached their destination, the room they were in used to be Tara's own room, now it was empty and only had a large stone table in it. The guard threw her onto the tables hard surface, she tried to get up again but the other guard held her down. She started screaming again, all those days of silence seemed to had been for nothing. One of the guards walked over to her flailing body and slapped her across the face, it was hard and had power behind it. Tara fell silent, trying her best not to freak out and lunge out for the guy. The door that they entered through opened once more. Amelia and some strange man in a mask walked in, Amelia glared at Tara with a look of sin.
"Amelia, what the fuck is happening." Amelia stayed silent while she walked over to Tara. Grabbing her by the chin and moving her face around like a toy, it seemed like she was studying her features.
"Yes I think this will work quite nicely."
"What will!" Tara screamed at the twisted queens comments. Amelia didn't respond to Tara but she did call over the masked man. Up close the man was horrifying. He wore a strange mask with a beak on it, it stretched out far and had a smell of rot to it. Below his nose was all visible, his teeth were a deep black and his skin was a lifeless pale. The eyes of the mask were transparent so she could stare into them. They were completely black, no white, no color, just black.
"So this is the girl you've been telling me about." The creepy man bent down to get a closer look a Tara, his eyes seemed to grow bigger through the goggles and a smile grew on his face.
"My Queen, we are going to make history." He said in a demented voice, every word he spoke sounded like he was choking. Amelia nodded and held out her arm.
"Lets get this over with then." The man laughed with glee and almost crawled over to his Queen, every movement this guy took seemed wrong. From his pocket he pulled out a long make shift syringe. He ran his long nailed hang along Amelia's arm, trying to find the right spot. Once he saw he target he quickly jabbed the long needle deep into her arm. The next few seconds was him extracting Amelia's blood, it was the first time Tara had even seen the blood of a vampire. For the most part is was black, it was hard to tell if there even was any red in it. After the syringe was full he carefully took it out, he ran his finger across the tiny hole on her arm and collected some blood, just on the tip of his finger. Like a creature he licked up the blood and smiled. Amelia stared down at him with hate in her eyes.
"Sorry my Queen." He crawled back over to Tara and looked intensely into her eyes.
"Everyone hold her down." The second she heard this she tried fighting back. The other guard now held down her legs while the one from earlier held back her arms. Tara struggled around for a bit before she felt the large syringe enter into her neck. Almost instantly the effects had started to hit her. Vision was becoming brighter, a ringing sound started to play in her head and she became more pale. The creature of a man called over to one of the other guards, they quickly retrieved an old looking book for him. The man crawled back over to Tara's side while he flicked through the pages of the book.
"Ah, there it is." He happily giggled to himself. Amelia walked over to the bench and stared down on the dazed Tara.
"Things will only get more painful from here, but after that you will feel amazing."
"What... What are you doing." Tara mumbled.
"We need a symbol for the people, to show them that werewolves and vampires can live in peace. What better way to show them then to have a hybrid, someone both a werewolf and a vampire. Hearing this Tara began to panic again, she tried moving but the guards held her down tight.
"Please. Don't. FUCKING DONT." Amelia ignored her words, she turned to the man and nodded.
The man placed his finger and where he was meant to read and traced it along as he spoke.
"La Sotee tee mee meeteela so sola teeteetee so meeso teesosotee mee ray lamee, so teesosotee soso tee dohteeso ray meeso lamee tee so teela soso meeso ray fa." Once the sentence entered a sharp pain ran over Tara's whole body, she screamed like she had never screamed before. Her veins turned to a dark black and they covered her whole body. Her blue eyes faded to a pale white and she began to shake violently.
"Are you sure this will work Crawler?" Amelia asked the strange man.
"I don't know, this is the first time this has ever been done." He grinned and turned back to Tara, every violent shake he had seemed to please him. Tara's dark colored wolf eyes turned white, matching the color of Amelia's hair. Her nails grew at an unnaturally fast rate. Her lively skin faded into a pale, much like her brothers. She began howling like a wolf, that howl slowly turned back into a scream. Her eyes met with Amelias only for a second, Tara's white eyes had slowly formed into the trademark yellow eyes of a Vampire. Out of no where her body fell limp, all screaming and struggling stopped.
"It worked" Said Crawler as he turned to his Queen.
"Good. If this works for a child imagine what it could do for our prisoners, we could make them our best fighters." Amelia's voice had a sense of wonder to it. Crawler nodded his head a few times before looking over at Tara again.
"You think she'll join our side?"
"I hope so. If not then this experiment would of been for nothing."

Rex was hot on the killers tail. They had ran through the market place and past the tavern from earlier. Not one moment did he look back to see if his friends followed, he knew that this was a mission he would do alone. The killer ran out of the slums and towards the forest, Rex stayed close behind. Once they were far enough out of the slums the killer made his move. Out of nowhere he stopped running and turned to Rex. The same red mist from earlier surrounded his hand, in seconds a large scythe was formed, its design was ancient and unknown to Rex. Rex stopped in his tracks, he saw the size of the weapon and knew that it would be a good fight. He pulled two small axes from his belt and held them to his side.
"Come on then, fucking attack." The killer ran forward, once he was in range his swept his scythe at stomach level, narrowly missing Rex. He stroke back by repeatedly bringing his axes down on him, each time the killer blocked with the handle of the scythe. Rex began to tire and the killer used this chance to strike. He dodged the next blow, ducking left and staying low. He struck his scythe in an upwards motion, Rex barely managed to block it with one of his axes. Rex had been slightly cut along the stomach, enough to get him pissed.
"You little shit." Rex kicked the man away, the killer fell onto his back but jump back onto his feet with ease. Rex held both his axes at his side then rushed at him. The killer held out his other hand on the mist shot out towards him. Rex didn't have time to dodge. The mist hit his face and quickly traveled around his whole body. He fell to his knees, paralyzed and scared. The killer calmly walked over to the frozen Rex and looked down on him.
"Get it... Over with." Rex said, struggling with every word because of the mist. A sniffing sound came from the man, Rex couldn't look up to him but knew he was still staring, he could feel his eyes watching him.
"You're different. You have no use." Before Rex could reply the man swung his scythe down on Rex and brought him to the ground. He laid there motionless, the killer stood there for a few minutes, watching the strange flaming blood pour from the wound. Once he was satisfied he turned away and walked off, heading deep into the forest. Once Rex knew he was gone he looked up. The scythe had cut one side of his face to the other, blinding him in the right eye. With the one working eye he stared at the killer as he vanished, deep into the forest.
"Bitch." Were the only words be managed to get out before collapsing again, this time falling unconscious. The flaming blood that dripped down into the grass and burnt it slightly.
