I slapped my hand on the snooze button. Hi I'm Lucy. I'm moving to Magnolia and I get to go to a different school! That's so exciting because I get to meet new people. Also I might find my soul mate. I never saw mine. Everyone else's red string connects but mine doesn't.

I did my morning routine and got dressed. I wear this

Then I put on my glasses. They aren't real I just like to wear them cause they bring together my whole nerd look. Yes I'm a nerd. I can't wait to go to school and meet my best friend levy.

She and I were friends since we were younger. and she moved away first. But we kept in touch. I hurried down stairs to have breakfast. " Good morning Daddy " I said to my father
" Good morning sweetheart " He said

" Where is mom? " I asked playing with my baby sister Wendy. " She already took your brothers to school. " He answered.

Oh yeah, I live with my mom and dad, then there is my younger brothers sting and rogue who are 7, and then my youngest sibling, my sister Wendy who is 2 now.

" Do you need me to drive you to school today? " My dad asked. " No, I can walk " I said. Then I kissed my dad goodbye and walked outside. I said goodbye to the Gardner and my maid Virgo, she's my personal maid but I don't really make her for a lot of things

" Hi Virgo " I said. She was helping out  the gardener. " Hime, do you need anything? " She asked. " No I'm fine, thanks for asking " I said. Then I waved before walking to school.

At school

As I walked into the courtyard I see a whole bunch of people. I change my eyes so I can I see their red strings too. When I do that my eyes turn to this pastel green color to see the strings

There's a girl with green hair connected to a guy with black hair, a girl with brown hair connected to a guy with silvery white hair.

There is a girl with short silvery white hair, she's all over some guy with salmon colored hair, but that's not who her string is connected to. It's connected to another guy with blue hair. I've never seen something like that before

I was knocked out of my thoughts by my bestie levy who hugged me. " Hey lu-chan! " She said. I return the hug.
" Levy-chan! " I said as my eyes turned back to normal. " Looking at other people's strings I see " She said.

Levy is wearing this

" Yeah, that girl with the short white hair, that's not her match " I said pointing to the girl. " Oh her, that's lisanna " She said. " She has a huge crush on natsu " Levy said.

" So who is her string attached to? " Levy asked me. " That boy over there with the blue hair " I answer pointing to him. " Bixslow? Never imagined that happening " She said. " Why not? Is there something going on with them? " I asked.

" Sorta, bixslow doesn't like lisanna cause she bullies his best friend evergreen " She said. " Who is evergreen? " I asked. " Her " She said pointing to the girl who was connected to the boy with the same hair color as lisanna

" So who is that? " I asked pointing to the boy who is connected to evergreen. " That's Elfman, he is lisanna's older brother " She told me.
" Evergreen and Elfman are connected by the string " I told her.

" Okay, let's go see juvia " She said pulling my arm. " Oh I finally get to meet her " I said. Juvia is one of Levy's friends that she tells me about. From what I hear juvia is really sweet. When we get there we meet a girl with long curly blue hair. She wears this

" Hi, I'm Lucy its nice to meet you juvia, levy tells me lots about you " I said with a smile. " Oh, hi I have a quick question for you " She said with a smile. But it faded into a scary stare. " Do you take any interest in that boy over there? "

She turned me to see a boy with Raven colored hair. I look at his string.... Not mine, I don't really think he is cute either so I guess I'm glad I'm not connected. " No " I said. " Good, then we can be friends " She said.

I look at her and her string is connected to his. It's rare to see some one who has a crush on the person that they are destined to be with. It makes me smile a little.

" Levy, that's her soulmate " I said she giggled a little. " What's so funny? " Juvia asked raising an eye brow. " Oh it's nothing " I said. " Okay lu-chan I'll show you around when you get your schedule " Levy said. I nodded as we walked to the office and juvia went to her class

When we get to the office levy told me to come find her in the library. She loves books, another reason we are besties. We both share a love of books.

I went into the office and I saw a short woman with long blonde hair, it looked like her string had been cut. I don't know how that's possible. She looked at me then smiled.

" I see you can also see the strings " She said. " How'd you know? " I asked. " Because... " She started then her eyes changed like mine. " I too have that ability " She said. " Why is your string cut? " I asked. " That's complicated " She said.

I turned my eyes back to normal and so did she. " Well I am mavis Vermillion, the assistant principal for this school, everyone calls me miss mavis " She said. I smiled back at her.

" My name is Lucy heartfilia and I transferred from Fiore academy. " I said. " Do you know anyone here yet, Lucy? " She asked. " Well I knew levy since we were little and I met juvia today " I told her.

" Okay well I'm glad you are making friends " She said with a smile. I hear a small beep coming from the printer behind her. She goes there and she gets the paper. She comes from behind her desk and hands me the schedule

" Here you go Lucy " She said. I thanked her before walking out of the office. I turned the corner and I bumped into that salmon haired boy that I saw outside and fell.

" Watch it blondie " He said. Jeez lucy, ran into someone on your first day great going.I got up and dusted off.
" Oh, I'm sorry " I said. " Are you dumb? " He asked. What's his problem? I said sorry I thought

" I said sorry jeez " I told him getting pretty annoyed. " Whatever your just some dumb blonde anyways. " He said. The nerve of him! I thought
" How rude! " I said fixing my glasses.

" Dumb nerd Blondie " He muttered.
" Hmph! " I said crossing my arms.
" Tch " He said before walking past me. " I wonder what unlucky soul ends up with him " I thought out loud

I look at his red string, it's coming back this way. Maybe someone is in one of these classes. I follow it back to my own finger. " No. no no no no no, not me! " I said with frustration. I stormed away to the library to where Levy was.

" Oh hey lu-chan " She said closing her book. " Let's get going with this tour " She said pulling me out of the library. " Levy you will not believe what just happened to me! " I said. " What? " She asked.

But before I could answer she gasps and says. " Did you run into lisanna just now?! " She said. " Nope. Worse " I told her. " What could be worse than that? " She asked. " I ran into that salmon haired idiot! " I said.

" Oh you mean natsu? What'd he do to you? " She said. " We bumped into each other and I fell on the floor. he didn't even help me up and also called me a 'dumb nerd Blondie' and didn't even apologize for bumping into me! " I yelled infuriated.

" Wow that's bad " She said. " Yeah well it gets even worse than that levy trust me " I said. " Well it can't get any worse than that? " She asked.

" Oh it can, and it did " I said " Well what happened?" She asked. " Our strings are connected! " I told her
" Wow, it did get worse " She said.
" Whatever, just lemme show you around gimme your schedule " She said

I hand her the piece of paper that Mrs Mavis gave me. " Well the good new is that we have all our classes together " She said " Well what's the bad news? " I asked. " Natsu is there " She said.

Great. I met the biggest jackass ever. I find out that he is my soul mate. And to top all of that bad luck off, I have him in all if my classes. Why would you do this to me god? I thought

In my first class

" Okay class quiet down " I heard the teacher say. My first class was math with Mr Gildarts " We have a new student today, be respectful to her " He added.

" Okay come in now " He said looking at me through the window. I nodded to him. I walked through the door and I earned stares from the boys and some girls and glares from the other girls

" Introduce yourself please " He said. I nodded. " Hi, my name is Lucy heartfilia, 17 and just moved here the other day " I said. The teacher looked at me with shock in his eyes. Then he eyes natsu and than his gaze shifted to an empty seat

" Sit there " He said pointing to an empty seat. I nodded and went there. The class was pretty boring. It's history and I don't really like it at all. My favorite subject is math.

At lunch

Levy took me to a table. There were a few people there. It was Juvia, a redhead girl, an a girl with long Silvery white hair. They all look at me and smile which I returned

" Guys this is Lucy, the girl I've been telling you about " Levy said. They all quickly get up and surrounded me.
" Can you really see out soul mates? " The redhead asked. I nodded.

" Can you tell us? " The girl with white hair. " I'm sorry but I can't do that " I said. " What not? " Juvia asked. " Well, if I were to tell you, then you would know who that person is and just develop feelings for them just cause your supposed to " I said.

" But what if we date others? " The redhead asked. " Yes, that's supposed to happen, cause you need heartbreak and pain to grow, if everyone has perfect happy endings with no sadness that would cause an imbalance in the world " I said.

" Not following you here " The girl with white hair said. " Okay so it's like this... " I started. " Humanity's feelings are on a scale kind of, and that scale is the earth " I added.

" one side is the happiness and the other side is the pain, when there is too much of one or the other, then the world will be imbalanced and if the scale tips too much, then the things on that side will fall out and nothing will be able to replace it " I explain

" Okay I get it, so if we know then we won't experience our pain to keep the world balanced the world will be very bad " The one with the white hair said. " Exactly " I told her

" I'm Mira by the way " She said. " And I'm Erza " The red head added. " You already know me " Juvia said. " Well, I guess you all know my name, Lucy " I said. We hang out during lunch.

After school

" Lucy!! " My younger brothers said running up to hug me as I walked inside. " Hey guys " I said hugging them back. " Mom, dad I'm home! " I said taking off my shoes.

" Hey sweety dinners almost ready " My mom said. " Okay I'll get washed up " I said before going upstairs to my bathroom to wash my hands. After u eat dinner I do my homework and take my shower and get ready for bed.
