Time skip to gala

I woke up on Saturday morning. I took my shower and got ready for the gala.

My hair looked like this

With a sea green bow instead of the cream one. And I had a white fox fur shawl.

Then I walk down stairs. The sitter was already here. " Hey " I said to the woman who was playing with sting and rogue as I was walking down the stairs. " Oh hello ma'am " She said. " My name is Asuna Yuuki, I'm here to baby sit " She said. " I'm Lucy Heartfilia " I said. Then my mom came down after me with my father.

That's what they were wearing.
" Okay, let's go sweety " My mom said. I nodded and we said goodbye to the twins, Wendy, and Asuna before getting into the limo. While we went there,I was staring out the window.

" Lighten up a bit Lucy, it's just a gala with some of our old friends " My mom said. " Mom, their your friends not mine, my old friend is levy " I said. My mom giggled at my comment

At the gala

The limo driver open the door. I stepped out first, then my mom, then dad. We walked in, my dad and my mom together, and I had an escort.

But he went somewhere when we entered the building. Everything looks so expensive. Gold this and gold that, diamond chandelier here and there. They are such show offs.

This is one reason I don't like them.
" Lucy darling how have you been " She said. She grabbed my hands and pulled them, I lost my balance for a bit. Another reason I don't like them, they are too touchy. " I've been... Fine "

I said pulling my hands away from her. " Come come child " She said grabbing my hands again. How the hell can she run in heels. " Mom, help me " I said through clenched teeth. " I can't do anything honey " She said. I just sighed as she pulled me along with her. She pulled me upstairs.

Then to a room. She banged on the door. No one came out. She was about to do it again, but I stopped her. " Let... Me try okay " I said. She nodded. I lightly knock on the door. Then hibiki comes out. He looks older and taller now.

" Oh! My beloved has returned to see me! " He said jumping to kiss me. I block his mouth. " Slow down lover boy " I said. Then I walked away. I went down to my parents. " Guys can I leave now " I asked. " No we must stay Lucy " My father said.

" Yes stay " Someone said. I turn around and it's hibiki father. He hugged me. Ugh! Always so touchy. I pushed him back from me. I went to sit down. And my mother came to sit down next to me.

" Look sweetie, I know you don't want to be here but please, at least try to enjoy yourself, we haven't been to one of these gala's in a while and I want you to enjoy this time because soon your gonna be an adult, and that little boyfriend of yours will be a handsome man and then the two of you will have children. " She said

" and I'll tell them that we went to a gala with our old friends and they'll ask you about it, but you'll wish you would've enjoyed yourself so you could tell them what a good time you had here, instead of telling them that you spent the whole day sulking on the couch because you didn't wanna come here " She said.

I thought for a second. " Mom I hate how convincing you can be at times, it's really annoying " I said. She smiled and I did the same. We got up and went back to my father.

" Lucy quit pouting and have a good time " My father said to me. I rolled my eyes and smiled a bit. " I know dad, mom already told me that story of how I'll grow up and have kids and then she'll tell them about today and then they'll ask me about it and I'll wish I would've enjoyed myself so I could tell them something other than that I was sitting on the couch sulking the whole time "

I said sarcastically. My father chuckled knowing how my mom is really convincing, and she can convince anyone of anything. Soon music started playing and my mom and dad started dancing together.

I just moved to the side until someone grabbed my hand. " May I have this dance? " He asked. It was hibiki. " Okay... Fine... But no touchy feely crap. It's just a friendly dance okay? " I asked.

He grinned and nodded vigorously.
We went to the dance floor. I made sure that there was at least a foot of space between us.

I really wanted to get out of here but I look at my mom and she could somehow tell what I was thinking and gave me a look that Said. 'Lucy Heartfilia don't you dare walk out of this gala'

I sighed and continued to dance with hibiki against my own free will. He tried pulling me close but I pulled back. Finally the dance was over. I felt a. Sense if relief go through my body when that moment was over.

" You are a great dancer my beloved " Hibiki said. " P... Please stop calling me that okay " I asked. " I would do anything for you, but that is one wish that I cannot fulfill, for calling you any name other than that would be a sin on my part " He said I just rolled my eyes.

" Whatever " I said. His mother came over. " Lucy, I shall teach you how to sew and cook " She said. " Now?  " I asked. " No, but soon " She answered. I just shook my head and walked away. I almost forgot.They believe that a man should do the work while the woman cooks and cleans as a woman would do before.

Whatever. Then I hear a glass clink. We all look and Mrs lates is standing on a small stool. " I just want to say thank you all for joining this celebration if Hibiki and Lucy's engagement " She said. " My/her what?! " Me and my parents yelled at the same time
