A loud cannon echoed in the distance.
A woman was at the swivel gun. She had long hair that was the color of blood red roses tied back with a red bandana decorated with emeralds while the rest of her hair was in a low ponytail in a black silk ribbon. her dark green jewel-like eyes narrowed as she aimed the gun at an oncoming ship as a smirk formed on her rosy lips and shot with impecable aim. she dusted her hands on her blood red knee-length dress with black ankle boots as there was a golden belt incrusted with rubies around her waist.
She went up to the steering wheel and got her ship, The red rose out of the waters once she and her crew got slaves away from the ship they were being transported on. "Is everyone alright?" she called out, her voice having an Irish accent to it as she spoke. Many slaves let out confirmations as the woman swung down to the deck, her boots making a clicking sound to it. She pulled out a silver flask and opened the top, handing it to a child. "here, little one. give this to your mother, ok?" she whispered, her kind heart towards the child coming out as she smiled. One of her crew members, Rosa came up to her. "Captain, we have prepared the quarters for the slaves since it will be a long trip to get them back home." The green-eyed Irishwoman turned to look at her.
"Good. Thank you for telling me, Rosa."
She turned back to the slaves and got their attention. "Ok, everyone! Rosa has prepared where you all will be sleeping! if you would be so kind as to follow her, she'll get you there." The slaves got up and followed Rosa in single file as the Irishwoman went to the railing of her ship, her palms touching the rosewood of her ship. She touched a small golden locket with a single green gem which was resting on her collarbone. 'Camilla, you are a pirate princess, you need to make sure you follow your sister's footsteps and not fall in love with anyone.' Camilla thought as she looked at the sea spreading in front of her eyes which were like emerald jewels.
She once longed to find love, but none really caught her eye. She knew her sister, a certain red-haired green-eyed pirate queen had two loves and did not judge. Camilla hoped she would not be caught.. she really did not want to lose her sister, not after everything they were put through. A strand of her blood red hair fell in front of her eyes as she brought the red curl back into the bandana as her once fair skin had been tanned by the sun, giving her more of an allure than in the town of Carolina back then when she and her sister were born identical twins. both girls had long red hair, green eyes and fair skin, untouched by the sun.
However, one could easily tell that the sisters were different. Anne had an fiery temper when she stabbed a servant girl with a knife while Camilla had a sweet and gentle temperment which people adored. She smiled faintly, Anne was always calmed by her sister's gentleness when they were little. she placed a hand on her own cheek as she tore her gaze from the sea and she went back to steering the ship. A while later, She decided to rest while another of her crew members steered.
As Camilla was taking off her bandana and ribbon, her hair comes tumbling down her shoulders and covers her back as some strands cover her revealed curves. She looked like Eve and anyone who saw her would think of her as Lilith, tempting them to join her crew. she slipped on a white laced-up top and black cotton pants as she slipped into her bed, her dark jewel eyes meeting the ceiling as she smiled, opening her locket, revealing a miniature portrait of the sisters when they were younger. That day of the portrait, Anne had brought her sister outside to show her off to many boys and girls as they all stared at the youngest Bonny sister and one man stopped the both of them and asked to take a picture of them.
The sisters agreed and the portrait was created, gifted to her by her sister, Anne. She longed for the days when she and Anne were like peas in a pod when they were younger since they were attached to the hip. Camilla sighed softly and sadly, knowing that she would never get back those moments with her sister but she would remember the moments she had with her.. She began to hum an Irish lullaby she learned from her sister as she held the locket close to her heart, knowing she will always treasure the memories she had with Anne.
The gentle rocking of the ship soothed her as lids began to fall over dark emerald green jewel eyes, her long rose petal colored hair sprawled out on her pillow as gentle breaths escaped her lips and would be heard by herself, turning her head to the left side of her pillow. She was perfection even when she was resting.. She had the locket still tightly gripped in her hand as she wasn't about to risk losing the treasure of her past. She continued gripping the locket tightly in her tanned fist, not wanting to lose the golden and green piece of jewelry with a strap of red velvet acting as a chain for her neck which she kept in perfect condition.
She dreamed seeing a person wearing a golden dress with white lace but their face was blurred. she could tell from their curves they were a female. She could feel her heart racing from the dream as her cheeks turned a slight pink from the dream. She wanted to know who they were...
