Y/N's P.O.V

After powering up the machine, Tony has me sit in the seat.

He brings the helmet down onto my head.

Tony: Okay, Y/N, this machine is gonna look into your mind and go through your memories to get us the location of the Red Room base.

Y/N: Got it.

Tony: You may feel a little pain, but you'll be okay.

Y/N: Understood.

Natasha: Y/N, I'll be right here the whole time.

I nod.

Y/N: I know, Nat.

Stark goes over to the console.

Tony: Ready, Walker?

Y/N: Let's do it.

Tony: Okay. Activating in three, two, one.

Third person perspective

The machine activates and Y/N immediately jolts as his eyes close.

Natasha: Tony...

Tony: It's okay, Natasha. It's okay. It's part of the process.

Steve: Are you sure?

Tony: Kinda. I did say there was a chance of his brain getting fried.

Natasha: Tony!

Tony: He's okay.

Meanwhile the machine looks through Y/N's memories.

It finds an old Red Room base in a place known to the Avengers.

The base is in Siberia.

Just then the helmet sparks.

Steve: Tony!

Tony: Got it.

He hits the red button and the machine shuts down.

Cap goes over and takes the helmet off Y/N's head.

Romanoff shakes him.

Natasha: Y/N? Can you hear me? Y/N? Y/N, wake up.

Y/N gasps and his eyes shoot open.

Y/N's P.O.V

I breathe heavily and look around.

Natasha: Y/N, are you okay?

I nod.

Y/N: I'm okay. I'm good.

Stark comes over.

Tony: Did you see where the Red Room base is?

Y/N: No. But I've remembered a location that'll help us find it.

(The next day)

I'm now with Cap, Nat, Logan, Sam Wilson and Tony in his lab.

We gather around the wartable.

Tony: Okay, I've looked into the location that Y/N gave me.

Steve: And what are we looking at here?

Tony: This is an old airbase in Siberia used during the Cold War.

Natasha: And what do the Red Room use it for?

Y/N: The Red Room have used this place a refuelling station.

Logan: Okay, but why?

Y/N: Because the Red Room base is a flying fortress.

Natasha: So, it needs to be refuelled.

Y/N: Exactly.

Tony: Now, we don't know where the fortress is, but if we hit this place.

Y/N: We could find a way to track it.

Steve: Well, that's a start.

I look to Steve.

Y/N: What's the play, Cap?

Steve: We move in using the quinjet. Once we're close enough Y/N, Logan and I will go in.

He then looks to Nat and Stark.

Steve: I want you two to take out any air resistance.

Y/N: And once we're inside we can get to finding the base's location.

Steve: That's right. But I think we'll need an extra pair of hands, he should he here soon.

Y/N: Who is it?

Cap and Logan look to each other.

Logan: He's an old friend of ours.

I tilt my head.

???: Looks like I got here just in time.

I turn to see Bucky there.

I smile.

Y/N: Holy crap. Bucky.

He smirks.

Bucky: Hey, man.

Y/N: Hey. 

I walk over and we hug.

Y/N: Man, it's so good to see you.

Bucky: You too, Y/N.

We pull away.

Bucky: Damn, you got tall.

I chuckle.

Y/N: Yeah, I did.

I look at his arm.

Y/N: Nice new arm.

Bucky: Thanks.

Sam: Looks like everyone is here.

Steve: Yep. Grab your gear, everyone. We leave in ten.

They all go to get ready.

Tony: Y/N, come with me. I've got something for you.

Y/N: Okay.

I go into the next room with him.

Tony: So, when you got here Cap asked me to work on something for you.

Y/N: What is this something?

Tony: A new suit.

He presses a button and a door opens to reveal a red and blue suit.

Y/N: Whoa.

Tony: I decided to keep the spider look as it made sense to do so.

Y/N: And you wanted me back in red and blue.

He chuckles.

Tony: I thought you'd like it. I thought it'd remind you of the old days.

I step forward and put my hand on the spider emblem.

I smile.

Y/N: Thanks, Tony. I really appreciate it.

Tony: No problem. Now, suit up.

I nod.

Stark leaves the room and I look back to the suit.

Y/N: Let's do this.

I grab the suit and go to suit up.

It's time to take down the Red Room and I can finally be free.
