(Two days later)

Y/N's P.O.V

I'm now in the city with Natasha walking through the streets.

I haven't been in the city since the 1940s when I was working with Eskine.

Natasha: So, how does it feel to be back home?

I sigh.

Y/N: Weird. Really weird. I mean this isn't the same New York I remember.

Natasha: That makes sense.

Y/N: But the city seems to be doing well.

Natasha: I wish I could say you were right.

I look at her.

Y/N: What do you mean?

Natasha: Well, the crime rate in this city isn't low these days. The city needs help, but the Avengers aren't able to help in the way the city needs.

Y/N: Oh, damn.

Natasha: Maybe this city just needs the right hero.

Y/N: You mean me?

She nods.

I sigh.

Y/N: Nat, I'm not a hero. Not after everything I've done.

We stop and she points to my chest.

Natasha: That suit under your clothes says differently.

Y/N: I don't know, Nat.

Natasha: All I'm saying is that maybe being the hero this city needs is a way to make up for the bad you've done.

Y/N: Maybe...

Just then we hear sirens.

We look back to see cop cars speeding past.

Y/N: Maybe this is my chance to find out.

I look to her.

Y/N: I...

Natasha: I know. Go. I'll see you back at the Compound.

I nod.

Y/N: Got it.

I run off to a nearby alleyway to change into my suit.

(Ten minutes later)

I've just made it to where the cops are going.

And it's a bank robbery on 41st Street.

I land on a streetlight in my superhero suit.

Y/N: Okay, where are these guys?

I look around to see one guy leave the bank and run down a nearby alleyway.

Y/N: It's just one guy. I gotta stop him.

I web swing over to catch up to him.

A moment later I catch up to him and land down infront of the guy.

I see that it's just some random guy.

Y/N: Hey there, pal. I'm no expert, but I don't think that money belongs to you.

???: I'm Weather Wizard. And who the hell are you supposed to be?

Y/N: Uh, well... I... I'm... well, I don't know yet. Do you have an suggestions?

???: How about, "The Kid with an Ice Pic in his chest?"

Y/N: Hmm. That doesn't really roll off the tongue.

He fires multiple ice pics at me, but I jump into the air to dodge them.

Y/N: Too slow.

I land behind him and kick him in the back.

He turns and fires a fire ball at me, but I drop back to avoid it.

Weather Wizard: Walk away, freak. I don't wanna hurt you.

Y/N: If you say so.

I web zip towards him and we fly back through a fence.

We land in the street and Wizard hits a car.

I get up.

Y/N: Well, I didn't mean to do that.

Weather Wizard gets up too.

Weather Wizard: You're done, Web-Head.

Y/N: Nah. You're done.

I jump into the air and come down, hitting him with a left hook to knock him out.

After that I use webs to tie him up.

Y/N: Hmm. How about Ass-Kicker?

I shake my head.

Y/N: No, no. That's really childish.

I look around to see people looking at me.

They start cheering and clapping for me while taking pictures.

I wave to them.

Y/N: Thank you.

After that I jump onto the side of a building to stick to it.

A guy then comes over holding a phone up.

Man: Hey, dude! That was so awesome! Who are you?

I think for a moment and the perfect name for my new hero persona.

Y/N: I'm Spider-Man.

I jump into the air before web swinging away.

(One hour later)

(Upstate New York)

I'm now back at the Avengers Compound.

I swing down and walk through the door.

???: Hey there, Spider-Man.

I look over to see Tony, Steve and Natasha.

Y/N: Hi. How'd you know already?

Tony: News travels fast these days, buddy.

Steve: He's right. I had to learn that lesson too.

Natasha: So, Spider-Man, huh?

Y/N: Yeah. It just felt right. And...

I pojnt to the spider on my chest.

Y/N: I've got the spider on my chest.

I look to Nat.

Y/N: You were right.

She smiles.

Natasha: Ah, I do love to hear that. But right about what?

Y/N: I think I can be the hero New York needs. The Winter Spider was an assassin, but Spider-Man can... is a hero.

Steve: Being a hero suits you.

Y/N: Thanks, Cap.

Tony: Well, if you're gonna be staying in New York... you'll need a place to work out of.

I tilt my head.

Y/N: Do you have a place in mind?

Tony: As a matter of fact, I do. Give me a few days and it'll be ready for you.

Y/N: Understood. Thank you, Tony.

He nods.

Tony: Of course.

He then leaves with Cap.

Natasha: You're right, you know.

Y/N: About what?

Natasha: Spider-Man is a hero.

I smile.

Y/N: Well, I do my best.

We then go to join the other's.

Looks like my new life is gonna be an exciting one.

I'm now gonna protect my home city from anyone who tries to hurt it.

I am Spider-Man.
