Yata Misaki is a prince living in in the Red Kingdom. When he was young, he was poor and lived by himself, having to fend for himself in the harsh streets of the kingdom. When the King, King Mikoto Suoh, refused to fined a Queen and produce an heir, he took to the streets to forget his bad decisions. Mikoto stumbled upon Yata, who he adopted and took to his kingdom, pronouncing him Heir to the throne. To the Kingdom, it seemed like a desperate attempt to fix his problems, but in reality, he really did want to help the kid he'd found on the streets. Not many people know this, but when Mikoto brought Yata in, his guards could tell it wasn't just to fix the problem he created. You could tell that Mikoto had grown attached to the boy, even if his grumpy temper didn't show it.
