Chapter Two
"What the hell am I supposed to do?"
Fushimi had followed closly behind, making sure that the Prince didn't get any ideas of running away the second he got out of the throne room.
Yata looked over at the tall figure and smirked, "You can leave now if you want. I don't need a baby-sitter following me around, and I'm sure you'd like to leave anyway." He said, crossing his arms.
Fushimi gave a small chuckle, "You really think I'm just gonna straight up walk right out of this castle disobeying direct orders from the king himself? I think not." He gazed at the Prince with amusement. "I can see why the king wants me to be your guard. You're as close to reckless as you can get."
Yata growled, "Watch who you're talking to or else-"
Yatas sentence got cut off as his breath got caught in his throat, watching as Fushimi walked up to him. He took a step back but that didn't change the distance between them, for Fushimi only got closer. "Or else what?" He smirked. "Don't think your royalty will scare me, little prince."
Little Prince?! Yata thought to himself angrily. He glared at Fushimi but soon realized how close they actually were to each other. A hint of red dusted his face and he averted his gaze to glare at the ground.
"Now- why don't you show me around the castle. Im sure it'll be pretty important if I'm to be chasing you around." Fushimi spoke stepping away as if standing three inches away from the Prince was normal.
Yata rolled his eyes, "Fine..."

After showing Fushimi around the castle, along with the irritating swooning of the maids who seemed to track Fushimi's every move, they finally made it around the castle.
"I believe that's it..." Yata shrugged looking around the halls. Just outside the window, It had grown dark outside, the sun setting making the sky beautiful oranges and pinks. Suddenly, Yatas eyes lit up with excitement and he grabbed Fushimi by the arm, tugging him down the hall towards the back.
"Hey! What are you doing?!" Fushimi yelled at him, stumbling as Yata tugged him towards the large glass doors.
"You'll see!" Yata said happily, letting go of Fushimi's arm and opening the doors.
Yata ran outside, leading to the large garden he had been in this morning. The garden had a gravel path running straight through it, on either side Red tulips lining the walkway. Overhead, there were a few archways with rose vines draping over, leading to a pond filled with koi fish.
Fushimi was caught in his tracks as he gazed in amazement, taking in the scenery. The sun had gone down and stars started to sparkle in the sky, giving the garden a breath taking beauty. "Wow..." Fushimi muttered.
Yata headed toward the path, heading under the archway and towards the koi pond. "You coming or not?" He said, smiling brightly. Fushimi headed over to him and they walked under the archway together.
When they reached the koi pond, Yata immediately walked over to the water, looking into the pond. The bottom was lined with pebbles and the koi swam around happily. He sat down on the lush grass next to the pond, watching as the fish swam around.
"This gardens very pretty." Fushimi said sitting down next to Yata, slightly behind him. Yata smiled as he continued to watch the fish, "I come here a lot. I've never had a day where I haven't visited this garden, even if it was for a few minutes."
Fushimi glanced over at him, "Didn't think someone like you would be so committed to something like that."
"Hey! What's that supposed to mean?!" Yata said irritably, turning around to to face him, a slight frown on his face.
Fushimi chuckled, "I just never thought a rich little prince like you would have a commitment to something at all really."
Yata huffed, nudging him roughly with his arm, "Cut it out!"
"Alright alright." Fushimi said, a faint smile painting his face. He had this strange feeling in his chest, a feeling he'd never felt before. It was like he was already connecting to the Prince, like they'd been friends that were just reunited for the first time in years... and he liked that feeling.
Fushimi flinched as he felt something lean against his shoulder. He looked to his left, seeing the Princes head resting against him. It seemed like he had fallen asleep... Fushimi groaned, picking him up and bringing him back to the castle.
I honestly thought this would be longer and I'm sorry it isn't >.> I tried to make it as long as I could but I didn't have a lot of inspiration for this chapter in the first place which is why it took so long..
