- ... let's have fun ! Let's see how my puppets are doing... Keefe cringed in pain. Sophie instilled Keefe with sweetness. This seemed to give him some relief.

- I wonder what will happen to you if I squeeze more! laughed the red phantom.

- AAAH! Stop it! begged the empath. Two goblins rushed at the oppressor. Just as they were about to jump he disappeared leaving the two guards to slump to the ground with a metallic clang. The Red Phantom reappeared alongside Sophie and Oralie.

- Did you know? That your dearest counsellor Oralie was the mother of your little Moonlark ? From the looks of you I'd say no. Oralie felt uncomfortable... she paled even more. Emery spoke up.

- Is this true? he asked in honour of his colleague. Oralie remained silent and met Sophie's eyes as she helped Keefe to his feet. With a lump in her throat she nodded and took a deep breath.

- Yes ! I am Sophie's biological mother!

Without anyone noticing, Sophie jumped on the neck of the Red Phantom . They both disappeared into a cloud before reappearing in the centre of the room. Sophie tried to pull out Keefe's heart which the oppressor was holding tightly. They rolled around several times, disappearing and reappearing in the room. Keefe screamed in pain.

- I'M SORRY, KEEFE!

- it's all right, darling... AAH!

They disappeared and reappeared in the middle of the councillors. Bronte also threw himself on top of the red Phantom to help Sophie hold him down. The three of them vanished.

Everyone looked for them. Shouts came from outside. Everyone ran to the square. The crowd dissipated. Sophie held her boyfriend's heart gently in her hands. The red Phantom was holding Bronte up. Sophie summoned Keefe's heart into Fitz's hands.

- Fitz put Keefe's heart back in its place. Sophie shouted.

- And how? Fitz asked.

- You'll see! Stab him in the chest, I don't know! PUT US DOWN! shouted Sophie who was now levitating with Bronte.

- No, it's funny.

Biana, Dex and all their friends rushed at the oppressor with their weapons in hand and he disappeared, leaving the two elves to fall to the ground. Bronte landed in a bush nearby and Sophie was barely caught by Tam.

- Thank you for this.

- You're welcome.

- Where is he? exclaimed Alina.

- Right here... to serve you. Alina turned around with a start and gave him a monumental slap.

-That's not nice.  he tried to rip the heart out of the counsellor Alina but Oralie pushed her away just in time.

- miss! she exclaimed. She in turn slapped him.

- You want to play it that way. Okay. The game will get funnier. The end for me!

He took Oralie's heart out of his pocket.

It emitted a golden light. The Red Phantom squeezed the empath's heart and she shouted.

- You're being less of a smart-ass counsellor. Sophie signalled to Biana to slip away behind him. The vacker jumped on the Red Phantom. He stumbled. He let go of the heart, which rolled down the stairs. Wylie caught it. The red Phantom appeared at his side. He threw the heart to Sophie who threw it to Marella. Velia then caught it and gave it back to Oralie, the red phantom was now standing in front of her. A red mist spread around them.

- MOTHER! Sophie shouted. The councillor was now face to face with the oppressor.

- You've kept me waiting long enough! I'm getting seriously pissed off!

- Why are you causing so much trouble? The ghost didn't answer and strode towards her. The empath had to do something, and fast.

She noticed that her heart was glowing more and more with every step the Red Phantom took, a black glow was coming from the oppressor's heart. It was then that an idea popped into her head.

- I'm sorry Sophie... she whispered...
