- STAND UP! STAND UP! STAND UP!

I'm startled.

- BIANA! what's wrong with your head?

- my head is fine! get up!

- only if you stop shouting!

- Sophie, have you forgotten what day it is?

- it's the 23rd of May.

- YOUR WEDDING !!!

- Do you really think I could have forgotten such a day! I say with a smile. Biana is exasperated and blows her nose.

- Hurry up! Edaline, Linh, Marella and Della are waiting for us!

she pulls me out of bed and drags me into an adjacent room.

- Well, Sophie, it took you long enough!

- I was sleeping well for once.

- Let's get started, now that the bride is here!

I'm off to put on my dress.

Ample, with lace, with diamonds... I come back and the girls sit me down. Edaline and Della take care of my hair, while Linh and Biana take care of the make-up, Marella takes care of the jewellery.

- Oh no ... I exclaimed when I saw Biana arrive with a pot of glitter eye shadow...

- Ah Sophie! you let yourself go!

after a loooooong hour, to say the least, here I am ready 

- Wow! Sophie, you look wonderful!  exclaims Edaline.

- And why don't you go and get changed too?

- you're absolutely right!

POS Keefe

All our guests have already arrived at the ceremony site. We had taken care to do it outside at Evergleen. Actually Fitz and Alden had insisted on doing it here.

Everything is decorated with beautiful blue, white, pink and gold flowers. I'm standing under an arch of roses, I'm wringing my hands, I don't know why, but I'm panicking... what if Sophie doesn't want to... but what am I saying! Sophie loves me and I love her even more.

- And calm down! exclaims a voice. It's Fitz. You're so tense!

- exactly ! adds Dex.

- I can't help it!

- Come on, Keefe! exclaimed Alden. Why are you so tense?

- Why were you so tense on your wedding day?

- Well... And no, I wasn't tense that day.

- But of course... you looked like a broomstick. I laughed.

- And you?" replied my best friend's father.  You were shaking like a leaf in the wind.

The matchmaker arrived, followed by the advisors, who came to greet me.

Then I saw Edaline, Della, Marella, Linh and Biana arrive and silence fell. Sophie had arrived more beautiful than ever in her wedding dress and my heart missed a beat.

I smiled... My foster comes forward... Her smile is sparkling. Edaline sheds a tear.

When I reach the altar, I hold out my hand and she delicately grasps it.

- You are beautiful my love .

- and you have an elegance that makes my heart skip a beat.

The matchmaker begins a long speech. I confess that I am not listening. but my eyes dive into those of my fiancée. I feel all her love...

- Do you, Lady Sophie Foster, take Lord Keefe Sencen to be your lawful wedded husband, to love, cherish and protect till death do you part?

- I do.

- And do you, Lord Keefe Sencen, take Lady Sophie Foster to be your lawful wedded husband, to love, cherish and protect till death do you part?

- Ah, one condition, I said, smiling, "I notice a change in my Sophie's mood, a change of fear.

- It's no longer Sencen but Foster! Yes, I do with all my heart!

- I now pronounce you husband and wife!

I kiss her, our guests applaud.

- You fool... You scared me. She whispers to me.
