"I just walked in Tim" Matt replied helping Edd put the cans in the fridge. A chill ran down Tom's spine and he whipped his head around to face the door, he held the other shoe tightly his blood feeling thicc (forgive me). "Why were you two so jumpy anyway?" Matt questioned, "There was a man at the door trying to get in" Edd replied noticing his friend still on high alert. "Oh spooky, don't worry there's no one out there now, hey guys you won't believe what I saw today!" Matt chirped. "What happened?" Edd said in a motherly voice. "I saw a guy, awful fashion sense might I add, he shoplifted some bolts and left! I went after him but I guess his arm wasn't in his hoodie sleeve because when I grabbed him it was just material...he escaped". Tom's eyes widened a little " Was the hoodie brown?". "Yeah, were you spying on me or something Tom?" Matt joked catching Edd's attention. Tom shook his head as if to clear it looking back toward the door. He sighed and got up wobbling towards the shoe he threw not used to standing as he had been sitting with Edd for so long. He heard a soft thud as he picked up his shoe and his eyes turned pure white. In the crack beneath the door Tom could see the silhouette of a pair of shoes waiting outside the door, Tom panicked and grabbed the handle holding it in place as he saw it jiggle slightly.
Edd heard the commotion and ran towards the door followed closely by the tall ginger. Matt put both hands on the door using all his strength to keep it shut, Edd franticly ran to the kitchen grabbing a chair to barricade the door with. All three stopped in their tracks as a bullet flew through the door, splintering some of the wood and grazing Tom's cheek cutting some of the skin. Tom cupped his cheek and stumbled backwards in shock, Matt's eyes widened and his focus shifter to his eyeless friend only breaking once the door was kicked open throwing him back. In the doorway stood the old man Tord had shot, holding a gun and wearing a sadistic smile. "Hello again".
