( 1 year later)
The sound of cars honking and sirens of police cars on the chase in the city of Seoul. The light rain hit the window of the Jeon's Company as the thunder rolled in with a loud boom. "CEO Jeon, the meeting is canceled, Mr. Kim can't make it today due to his wife's illness." The young secretary with round specs, hair spiked up, dressed nicely in a navy blue suit.
The chair that was facing the big window turn around to face Secretary Lee. Jungkook stood up from his seat, pulling down on his blazer to straighten out the wrinkles. His build silhouette shaped nicely as he walked around his desk. "Great, let's go for lunch." Jungkook smiled patting Secretary Lee's arm.
"Where would you like to have lunch CEO Jeon?" Secretary Lee followed behind. "Anywhere is fine." Jungkook pressed the button of the elevator waiting for the door to open. "Alright." Secretary Lee bowed his head. "Stop being formal Sungmin-ah." Jungkook smiled entering into the elegant elevator, "you know I can't, when we're working." Secretary Lee chuckled.
"Its weird having my friend call me CEO Jeon." Jungkook commented, "Then why did you pick me to be your Secretary?" The elevator door opened with employees under Jungkook. They greeted him politely as the elevator fell quiet with the elevator music playing.
On the 3rd floor the employees walked out, biding Jungkook goodbye. "Because you're the only person I trust and have." Jungkook punch Sungmin's arm.

While Jungkook was having lunch his phone rang. He reached for his pockets inside his blazer, fishing it out and stared at the screen before answering it. "Hello."
"Honey? Where are you?" The feminine voice spoke on the other side of the phone. "I'm out having lunch, are you at my office?" Jungkook sweetly talked through the phone. "Yeah, I just arrived wondering where you are. OH! And it seems likes the meeting that was canceled today is going to progress today." The feminine voice added.
Jungkook looked up at sungmin, "I just received the email." He spoke ahead of Jungkook. He nodded his head, "Alright I'll be there, do you want anything?" Jungkook asked before ending the call. "Hmmm CAKE!" She cheered. Jungkook chuckled, "okay strawberry cake coming right up."
"My favorite, thanks honey." She thanked, "you're welcome sweetie." Jungkook smiled ending the call. "Let's go pick up a strawberry cake for Seolhyun." Jungkook and Sungmin stood up from their seat and headed for the bakery shop.
After picking up a strawberry cake in the car Jungkook sat in the back seat with Sungmin in the passenger seat. "Why is the meeting proceeding?" Jungkook held onto the box of cake. "It seems like Mr. Kim can make it today. His wife is doing fine and insisted him to come and not cancel the meeting because of her." Jungkook stared out the window without a word.
"I never met Mr. Kim," Sungmin commented, "neither have I." Jungkook continued to stare out the window.
Holding the box of cake, Jungkook walked into his office where a young girl was sitting on the couch in the middle of the room. "Honey." Jungkook cooed, "oh sweetie you're here." She stood up with a smile walking over to hug him. "You waited long?" He asked as she shook her head.
"Here's your cake." He handed her the cake with a smile, "thank you!" She cheered happily staring at the cake with heart eyes, her mouth already watering. "Is it bad that I'm feeding sweet treats to a pregnant woman who happens to be my wife?" Jungkook put his hands on his hips. She smiled mischeviously, "shhh no one needs to know." She giggled, running over to the couch opening the box of cake hungrily.
She gasped at the delicious frosted pink cake with strawberries on top. She took a bite of the cake, "hmm so good." She moaned. "Can I have some?" Jungkook sat next to her with his arms around her shoulder. She glared at him, "my cake." She growled, Jungkook chuckled with hands up in surrender. "I won't bother you any more. Enjoy the cake, I'm heading for the meeting now." Jungkook planted a kiss on her forehead.
Jungkook rested his hand ontop of her baby bump rubbing it in circles. "Grow big little one, daddy loves you." Seolhyun licked the frosting off her lips smiling at her loving husband. "Okay go go, don't be late for your meeting." Seolhyun stood up pulling Jungkook out of his office.
"I love you." Jungkook whispered planting a quick peck. Jungkook chuckled walking to the conference room. "Good afternoon everyone." Jungkook set his folder and iPad down. "Good afternoon CEO Jeon." Everyone greeted.
Jungkook looked up his eyes scanning the room until his eyes landed on a particular person. "I heard that Mr. Kim finally made it to the meeting. Recently he has taken his father's seat in the business, congratulations. I hope your wife gets well soon." Jungkook smiled.
Mr. Kim stood up, fixing the wrinkles of his blazer. His undercut haircut stood out as he smiled warmly at everyone before facing Jungkook. "Thank you CEO Jeon, my wife was rushed to the hospital but she still had the strength to scold me to come." The room was filled with laughter.
"Mr. Kim welcome to the marriage life." A man in his late 50s commented. "Yes, but she's wonderful to me and to the people around her." Mr. Kim smiled with admiration. The meeting went on about what to improve on in the markets and how to improve it.
The meeting ended as everyone walked out leaving Jungkook, Mr. Kim, and Secretary Lee in the conference room. "How have you been, Jungkook?" Mr. Kim spoke up causing Jungkook to stop in his track. "I'm doing fine Taehyung." Jungkook shortly replied. "That's good, when are you guys due?" Taehyung asked with his folder neatly stacked under his arm.
Jungkook sighed, "December 15th hopefully." He slightly smiled remembering his wife. "Oh congrats by the way I couldn't come to your wedding. I hope you and Jongsu live a happy life." Taehyung smiled with a small chuckle, "thank you," Taehyung thanked as Jungkook was about to leave the conference room.
"Do you think about her?" Taehyung suddenly ask, Jungkook froze and turned around. "I used to until I got married. She walked away anyway."
"She still loves you, you know that right? She was hoping for you to call her that night she called it off. I tired convincing her to get back with you, but she didn't." Taehyung explained lowly, Jungkook stood at the door listening.
"She got drunk one night crying in my arms saying she waited for you to come back. She was heart broken waiting for you every day and every night, but your ass didn't give a single call." Taehyung sighed and stood in front of Jungkook. "If you want to find her she's at the hospital, room 165 at the VIP room." Taehyung patted his shoulder and left Jungkook speechless. "Is she okay?" Jungkook asked quickly before Taehyung left.
'I thought she wanted to break it off, why was she waiting for me?' Jungkook thought as he walked back to his office. "Honey how was the meeting?" Seolhyun walked over to him hooking arms with his. "You okay? Did the meeting not go well?" Seolhyun worriedly ask putting a hand on his forehead.
Jungkook reassured her with a smile, "No the meeting went well actually." He sat on the couch staring out the window. "I looked at your schedule during your meeting, you aren't doing anything after want to go for a walk?" Seolhyun rest her head on Jungkook's shoulder.
"Actually I have to go somewhere, meeting up with an old friend." Seolhyun pouted hoping Jungkook would go on a walk with her today. "Can I come along?" She asked, "Its been a long time since we saw each other, I kind of want to just catch up alone with- him." Jungkook explained. "Okay, I'll see you at home then, don't go out for too long." Jungkook lift a small smile as she got up to leave.

Jungkook bought a bouquet of flowers with red roses and baby breaths. Jungkook stopped in front of room 165, the room where she sleeps and rest. Jungkook took a deep breath before opening the door. He slowly walk into the room being as quiet as he can to not disturb her sleep. She layed on the bed with her back facing Jungkook.
Her hair grew longer, the last time Jungkook saw her she had short hair. Her long light brown hair was let down as she wore a pink hospital gown. Jungkook set the bouquet of flowers on the table taking a seat.
He quietly stared at Jongsu's back not knowing what to say. "Ahem, um hi it's Jung-Jungkook." He scratched his head and sighed, "I'm... sorry for being a jerk last year. Taehyung told me you waited for me to call you back, I'm sorry for ignoring your calls and ignoring you. I hope you and Taehyung live a happy life. Uh yeah, I hope you get well soon I'll be seeing you soon I guess."
Jungkook stood up from his seat turning around and saw black boots from his first sight of view. His eyes slowly scanned from the black boots to a beige color coat. She wore a white scarf that completely covered half her face, her hair wrapped under the scarf, as her big familiar doe eyes stared at Jungkook in shock.
"S-Su?" Jungkook stuttered in horror. He shut his eyes and opening them again. "If you think that I'm a ghost because you think that's my body... you're right because I died. In your heart." Jongsu rushed out of the room in anger and in shock.
She wasn't expecting to see Jungkook to just pop up out of nowhere one year later. She fast walk down the hall with Jungkook following behind her. "JONGSU!" he called. Jongsu covered her ears and ran out of the hospital, Jungkook ran after her catching up to her.
He grabbed her wrist harshly turning her around than he least expected. She winced in pain from the tight grab, Jungkook didn't let go, "Jongsu." Jungkook softly call her name. "Let go," she tried to break free from his grasp, "I said let go Jungkook." She harshly free her wrist. "Get away from me." She warned, "Jongsu I don't kno-" she punch him in the chest pushing him away.
"DON'T! Don't talk to me." She pointed with a quivering voice. "You're dead to me, I don't ever want to see you again." She backed away with a stern voice. Jungkook's heart felt a shot of pain in his heart from her words. "Would you just listen to me!" Jungkook snapped causing Jongsu to freeze.
"Just give me five minutes to explain." He pleaded, "Make it 30 seconds." Jongsu glared, "Su, please." Jongsu turn to look the other way, "2 minutes." Jungkook sighed in relief, "look I'm sorry, Taehyung told me and I was jerk, I should have called you and answered your calls. Last year, what we had was amazing and I will never forget the memorable adventures we had."
Jungkook slipped his hands into Jongsu's hand. "I never stopped thinking about you after we parted. I regret what I said and what I did. It wasn't your fault, it was mine. I was stupid to lie to you about the kiss with Hara. Please forgive me." Jungkook begged not looking up from the ground.
Jongsu contemplated if she forgive him. There was a long silence between them, "if you can't forgive me I understand." Jungkook let go of her hand. "I... forgive you." She blurted out, mentally slapping herself for opening her mouth. Jungkook sighed, "Thank you, Su."
"I hope you and Taehyung live happily." Jungkook smiled at Jongsu who gave him a confused look. "What are you talking about?" Jungkook opened his mouth but closed it, "aren't you two married?" He wondered, "no, he's been my best friend every since. His wife is the one in the room sleeping." Jongsu explained.
Jungkook stared at her with his mouth open, "O-oh." "I hope you and your wife lives happily. Congratulations in your pregnant." Jongsu turn back to the room leaving Jungkook speechless.

The next day Jungkook saw Taehyung in his company. Jungkook grabbed Taehyung and dragged him in the closet, "Why didn't you say you weren't married to Jongsu?!" Jungkook scolded in a whisper. Taehyung chuckled, "ahh you went?" He shrugged his shoulder, "because I wanted to mess with your head." Taehyung mischeviously smile at Jungkook.
"Have a happy life now that you saw her." He patted Jungkook's shoulder. The whole day Jungkook was stressed about the things that happened not even 24 hours ago. There was a knock at the door, "honey?" Seolhyun peeked through the door.
"What?!" Jungkook harshly replied without even knowing it. Seolhyun froze in shock from Jungkook's sudden outburst. "I'm sorry Seolhyun, I zoned out you wanted to say something?" Jungkook fixed his posture from the way he was sitting.
Seolhyun's eyes averted from side to side like she was nervous, "What is it Seolhyun?" Jungkook asked worried. "Please don't get mad at what I'm going to tell you." Seolhyun had tears in her eyes ad she stiffled soft cries. "I won't get mad, you can tell me." Jungkook reassured her.
She held onto Jungkook's hand, her gaze never left their hand as she cried, nervous to even look into his eyes. "J-jungkook I know you put on an act around me, and I do too. You were forced into marrying me because I was pregnant and my father needed to collaborate with your company. But I haven't been honest with you, I do know who the father of my child is. I have been sneaking behind your back and went back to him." She sobbed, Jungkook trying to take all this in.
"I know, Seolhyun I know, if you're crying about me judging you I never judged you." Seolhyun shook her head, "No, Jungkook... I slept with Sungmin, he's the father of my child. I thought I could keep him safe if I married you so my father wouldn't hurt Sungmin. I'm so sorry for lying to you that I didn't know Sungmin." Jungkook sat in silence as Seolhyun sobbed.
Jungkook pulled his hand back not knowing what to say next. All these emotions of anger and relief rushed over him. Angry that these two has been lying to him, angry that it was his closest friend instead of some other guy, angry that she lied about not knowing who the father was. But he felt relief, relieved that he won't be married with someone he doesn't love, relieved that Jongsu isn't married to Taehyung, relieved that she is still single which means he can get her back.
"Jungkook, are mad?" Seolhyun asked, "I am mad and overwhelmed... I have every right to be mad at you and at Sungmin. I can't believe you kept this from us, your family, my family, the media, and me!" Jungkook stood up in disbelief, "Jungkook, please I was trying to protect Sungmin." She cried.
"I am mad and overwhelmed but I'm not completely mad. You're right about putting on an act because I didn't love you." Jungkook turn to look at Seolhyun, "You can go back to Sungmin and send you two somewhere else, but I'm gonna have to ask for divorce form from our lawyer." Seolhyun smile in joy and thanked Jungkook.
"Thank you so mugch!" She stood up giving Jungkook one last hug, "I won't forget your kindness." She left Jungkook's office leaving him overwhelmed. Jungkook scoffed from the events that happened yesterday and today.
Jungkook ran out of his office heading to his car. He started his car driving away from the company as he fished for his phone. Speeding by cars while concentrating on his phone, a blaring horn was sounded. Jungkook looked up as a car was coming toward his way, "SHIT!" He swerved his car to the right breathing heavily as he saw his life flash before him.
"Damn, pay more attention." Jungkook scolded himself as he went back to his phone. When he saw Taehyung's number in his contacts he failed the number right away. Bringing the phone up to his ears the line rung. "C'mon c'mon pick up!" Jungkook tapped the steering wheel with his thumb impatient from the line ringing multiple times.
"Hello?" The low voice answered, "Taehyung-ah! Where is Jongsu?" Jungkook desperately asked. "Why?" "Please, I need to know where she is, it's important."
The line fell quiet, Jungkook pulled the phone away from his ear seeing that the call was still going but why is it so quiet? "Hello?" Jungkook spoke on the phone again.
"Tell him I'm not- no-here- Taehyung!" Harsh whispers where heard over the other line, as if someone was arguing. "Uh she's hereerrr NOT here. Yeah she's not here." Taehyung corrected himself. Jungkook rolled his eyes, "You know I can hear you guys arguing, Jongsu tell me where you are I have to tell you something. Please." Jungkook came to a stop at the stop light.
"At the... cafe where we first met." Jongsu replied with huff, "thank you, I'll see you there bye." Jungkook ended the call with smile.

Jungkook arrived to the cafe where Jongsu agreed to be his "girlfriend". Jungkook entered into the cafe scanning the entire room with his eyes until his eyes landed on her.
Jungkook rushed over to her, pulling her up under her armpit catching her off guard. She gasped at the sudden touch and lift before she knew it, Jungkook had his eyes closed with their mouths already attatched like magnets.
Jungkook snak his hand around her waist pulling her in for a deeper kiss, his lips on her upper lip as he moved his mouth hungrily kissing her. Oh how he missed her plump lips. He bit the upper part of her lip asking to kiss back. Jongsu struggled trying break away from his embrace.
She bit his lip hard until it bled, causing Jungkook to moan from the pain and backed away from the kiss. She slapped him across the face breathing heavily as she covered her mouth with the back of her hand. She stared at a lip bleeding Jungkook stunned. Her fragile heart that she once thought was strong was breaking down. She shook her head at him.
"If this is your way of trying to talk to me, don't ever come back." Jongsu grabbed her bag and rushed out of the cafe. "Su, stop, I missed you." Jungkook winced in pain as Jongsu stopped in front of the door. Her heart says the same, I missed you too.
"Please hear me out." Jungkook held Jongsu's hand intertwining their fingers together. Jongsu held back her tears, "Jongsu I-I want you back, I'm filing a divorce paper we can be together." Jongsu scoffed, "how, you bear her a child already it's not gonna be the same."
Jungkook shook his head, "it's not my child, the child belongs to my Secretary which is also my closest friend. This is a chance for us to be together. I know I was a jerk and I know what I did, give me another chance please." Jungkook begged holding onto her hand.
Her heart broke seeing Jungkook begging. "why is it that when I have forgotten you, you have to come back." Jongsu pursed her lips in a thin line. "I tried so hard to forget about you, I got drunk and even walked to your house because I was crazy. When I saw that you got married and she was pregnant I thought it was really over. My heart broke into millions of pieces."
Jongsu cried tears falling non-stop. "You really hurt me you know." "I know, this time I promise not to hurt you anymore." Jongsu closed her eyes. "Ugh I hate you for making me feeling this way." Jungkook watched her cry. "Do you really promise to not hurt me anymore?"
Jungkook quickly nod his head, "I promise, cross my heart and hope to die." He cupped her face wiping her tears away with his thumb, "I promise." He smiled leaning in for a kiss before stopping, "I won't... get slapped will I?" He cautiously asked.
Jongsu chuckled, "Just kiss me already coconut head." They both laughed and leaned in for a passionate kiss. A kiss they yearned for after a year, a kiss that lingered for so long. "I missed you too, Su." They smiled into the kiss.
"Can we go on our winter adventure again?" Jongsu asked, "Part two?" Jungkook held up a V sign with a happy smile. Jongsu chuckled while shaking her head, "Whatever you want to call it."
