I had gotten news from the league I was getting a new house. Finally I was kinda tired of nosey neighbors.
"Hay what was that noise" or "how are you" I mean it's not like I have a signed out side saying.
Red beetle lives here that would suck. I kinda got tired of normally moving my things so I armored up and used my superspeed to load everything. And yes the Justice league pays for me to live.

I drove off to the new house with J.D next to me attempting to avoid potholes. (Large holes in the road). When we arrived at the address I looked around to see if people where outside. J.D jumped out and so did I opening the door to the house and began to 'unpack' my way because normal is boring. I left the moving truck outside for show. Begin to set up the T.V and move things up stairs.

"OK girl time to go to star Labs for your food" I said to J.D. I put on her harness And we ran to the star Labs in Taos, New mexico. I was there in seconds and J.D arrived slightly behind me. I put in my suit and had my hair in two side braids , purple eyes with lighter skin so no one trys to find out who I am but I can still leave my helmet off.

Entering one of the labs I saw some of the kids we questioned.
"Not just the lid the entire can" sighed the Dr.
"Well I think it's still impressive that he's able to event lift something with electric waves considering his ability would shock most humans."
I barged in with J.D running to there side wanting to play. "Yes I assume you are correct Beetle" the doctor stood straighter.
I heard one of there stomachs growl. It was Lilly or Lillian.

"So doc how about you let them go eat" I said and there eyes widen In gratefulness. She sighed and looked at his watch. "Take 20" he sounded like he hated life.
They walked past me some fist bumped me or high fived. "Her food, I'll be only one second." The doctor put on his glasses and went to a back room.

I moved towards a computer and looked at there stats. There impressive I'll admit but, they can't exactly control there abilities. He returned a few seconds later with food bars and cans. "There each filled with over 13,000 calories in each table spoon so this should last at least..About a month" he said. I was at the corner behind he kids. "This sucks. Star is worse then the reach and worse then home.!" Shouted Tye.
"Dude there's no way this is worse then the reach." I guess one of them heard me so I gave up and ran past them with J.D back to Houston. I dropped off her food and decided to go to El paso and visit Jamie.

7:40 P.M

I flew in through Jamie's Window and saw him sleeping with comics and his homework sorounding him, he was shirtless and looked kinda cute. I feel like a major stocker. Naaa. I moved him around a little till he woke up. "Mmmm" he hummed.
"Morning prince charming"
I cooed.

His eyes slowly opened. I removed my armor and had my brown eyes and tanish skin back. I was wearing a black shirt, blue skinny jeans and wedges with my hair braided in two braids still. He pulled me down to the mead and I landed on top of him. He leaned forward and kissed me. But this time it didn't feel..Like last time, this one felt like it was forced but wanted at the same time.

Still I kissed back and pulled away. "Well hello to you you too" he said sith a small smile. I smiled back and sat on his stomach. How do you fall asleep whale doing science? It's the best subject ever" I said picking up the paper to his left and examend the work.

"You got number 4, 8, 10 and 12 wrong" I said. He took the paper out of my hand and looked at the answers. "There not wrong" he defended. "Here let me teach you, you see you multiply the speed and time to get the distance and vice versa for distance and time." I explained fixing his work. "See" I handed back the paper. "If you haven't gone to school in years then home do you know this?" He asked.
"I don't go to highschool Reyes I go to Collage. For photography classes".

"Aren't you young for collage?"
"So sweet sunny I've only just turned 16 in March Wich was a long time ago."
He sat up and I moved around the room. Then the phone rang it was mine. "Hello?" I answered. "H-hay Red," it was Nightwing. "Hay Nightwing" Jamies face slightly cringed he stood up and took my phone from me puting it on speaker.
"Hi Nightwing" he said voice laced with enough salt to make an ocean.
"Oh..Hi blue" Nightwing returned the salt. "What's up?" I asked.
"There are a group of star Labs kids from The Reach testing that are now runaways. I need you two to go and collect them." He explained.

"I don't know I'm not to comfortable with this one of those kids are my buddy Tye" Jami explained.
" Actually, I'm counting on that.
You can talk to him, convince him that right now, until we kick the Reach off world, STAR is the safest place for them."
"[sighs] OK. Where on it" I told Nightwing.

We then flew out the window to Taos, New Mexico.
"Hay your not being aquward for a change" I said then got in to a laying down position as we flew. "What's the ovation?" I asked.  "You, the greatest occasion" he said. "Wow also cheesey, but I want my aquward and squeemish Jamie back he's cute" I said smiling. He did as well and we made it to a bus station where Dr., Well I don't know what his, name was,. Lead some security to surround the building.
"Get back to star we'll Handel this." Blue said.

Then Tye made some sort of giant it was yellow and well over 50 feet tall. It knocked Jamie to the floor and he turned to me. "Try me" I dared. It backed away and ran to the woods. I flew down and Jamie grabbed my hand. "You OK?" I asked.
"Yeah, everything is under control"
"No it's not" I mumbled in denyal. "We flew to where they landed and saw Tye wake up. He grumbled and opened his eyes. "How'd I get- oh it happened again. I thought I was dreaming" me and Jamie then flew down. "No dream, trust me" Jamie said making his entrance.

"Where not going to hurt you but you 5 need to get back to star" I told them. "Look I recognize you your one of the good guys your from my city and saved us all from the Reach-" Lilly began till she was cut off by Tye "but, you just don't get it."
"No Tye, I really do" Jamie then unarmed and so did I. I heard Lilly gasp. "Zoey" "Jamie?"
"Yeah, it's me"Jamie said as I mumbled the same thing.
Tye was in shock but Lilly ran up to me and gave me a Death hug probably stronger then Superman. "We've been looking for you, we thought you died or worse" she began to cry. "Hay I'm fine" I said.
"Crash this is so crash!" She shouted and picked me up spinning me around. "What was that?" She asked felling the scarab on my back.

"How" asked Tye.  "It's a long
story-but it started with this scarab" Jamie took off his sweatshirt to show them Khaji Da. "Nice" I heard Lilly whisper. I leaned close to her ear and whispered. "I will emotionally and physically damage you".
"What he's cute" she defended. I elbowed her in the arms and Jamie put on his shirt.
"It was designed by the Reach to give us powers and control us" I informed them. "So believe us ese, we get it" Jamie said. "Fine, your one of us except your flying around free as .. beetels and you still expect us to be lab rats for STAR" Vergal said. "No more Hermano, not for the Reach or star" Edwardo said.
"He's right you can't take us back" Tye finished.

I let out an anoyed sigh, "well what's the alternative we let you run free and hope the reach doesn't snatch you up again!?" Jamie yelled. I put my hand on his back rubbing gental circles. "No, where headed to my parents place-" Jamie didn't let Vergal finish. "So what! They can get hurt or killed trying to protect you!! That's your plan?".
" [speaking Japanese] Hai."

"We'll help you." Me and Jamie said in unison
" Dude, you speak Japanese?" Asked Tye and Lilly
"The scarab translates.
Don't ask." Jami said. "Wait you needed the scarab? I'm fluent" I scoffed. He smiled and rolled his eyes.

"All right, new plan.
I have this buddy, Green Beetle.
He helped me." I cringed at greens name I don't trust that guy, and the fact that Jamie is acting weird after seeing him makes me more suspicious. "Think he can help you, too." He said to me
"He's not far from here.
I'll take you." He motioned all of us to fallow.

"Jamie what are you doing?" I asked. "We're going to get them help" he answered almost hesatent. "Yeah and what's Baars going to do?" He didn't answer but had an anoied look on his face. The girl who speed Japanese pulled be back with her. "you trust him?" She asked pointing at Jamie.
Do I? I mean yes I trust him with my life (J.D) but..Now I'm hesatent.
"Yes" I answered and walked back next to him. He intertwined his hand sith mine, but it still felt weird. His phone rang and he answered it was Nightwing and from how loud he left his volume on, you could hear his voice a mile away.

"Nightwing.
¿Que pasa?"
"Blue, your radio's down." You notice Nightwing barely well thanks for staying the obvious.
"Kind of incognito at the moment, ese." I face palmed at the volume how, I mean is he deaf or what?.
"Well, armor up.
The robot Red Volcano is attacking STAR to steal the body parts of an android called Amazo, probably to incorporate its tech.
And since Amazo was capable of duplicating the powers of the Justice League, we can't let Volcano succeed." Nightwing informed us..All..Thanks blue.

"But where on the runaway teen thing.
We've uh, almost tracked them down." OK this Jamie is lying now I'm going to become Mrs detective.
"That can wait.
Zeta tube's offline, so only Flash and Impulse could get there fast enough.
And they're both rescuing tsunami victims in Rulaysia.
You're the only one close." Nightwing informed us.
"We'll thanks Nightwing, I mean, oh wait you don't know yet." I said. "What do I not know Red-"    "Bye" I hung up.
"Minor setback." Jamie turned around
"We heard." Tye said
"I think all of New Mexico did, you need to lower that" I chuckled
-"Oh."
"OK.Look, stay put and stay out of sight.
We'll be back soon." I told them and we flew off to battle.
