Chapter Twenty-Two: Feelings

"Are you planning on going?"

"I don't really know... should I?"

"I can't really decide for you, just do whatever makes you happy."

"What if I don't know what makes me happy?"

"Then, you're out of luck. Just go on the date and find out what you want."

You blinked at Tsukishima, staring at his expressionless face. "Well I guess you wouldn't care if I went on a date with someone..." You mumbled, taking a bite into the fish cake on the stick.

He heard you loud and clear, looking the other way as he drank his water. "I honestly disagree."

The both of you walked around the campus, stopping by some booths getting your futures foreseen, and talked more about that Hinata guy. He sounded interesting, you wanted to meet him.

"Does he still attend Karasuno?" You asked, chewing the food still in your mouth. "I think so. Why? Do you want to see him?"

You shook your head, frantically waving your hands. "He sounds cool, but a little too much for me..." You began to scratch your cheek, feeling him raise a hand to your head. Random pets was the best. "You're right, he's too much for everyone."

"Hey honey boo, you look cute today~" You looked away, suppressing your laughter. "Honey boo? What is that?" Kairi looked average. His weird way of complimenting you made you smile.

"You and you only~" His expressions made you laugh, he knew how to charm a girl. On the other hand, Kaito, Tsukishima and Yui were tailing you two.

"So weird..." You cooed, beginning to walk into the mall. There were many stores that sold all kinds of things; keychains, accessories, clothing— but this was the expensive. Ten thousand dollars for a little hat.

"So, where do you want to go first?" He asked, his soft hands sinking into his pocket. For some reason, Kairi dressed like a normal person, lived in a normal apartment, and walked around as if he wasn't famous.

You weren't planning on buying anything though, and you hoped he would get attacked by fans so you could sneak away.

"Uh, I guess this store seems nice..." As you slowly made your way towards it, the male smirked, shaking his head. Once you stepped past the door, your eyes widened. You've never seen so many zeros on a single piece of cardboard a day in your life. You took a step back, hearing the male behind you chuckle.

"Do you realize you've just entered the most expensive store in here right? But I don't mind, I'll spend as much as you want." His words were nice— a little too nice— it was odd how devoted he was. "Oh, that's really unnecessary, I'm not planning on buying anything so..."

"Says who? We came here to shop didn't we?" He smiled, putting a hand on your back to push you inside. "I wanna see what my little honey boo looks like in biki-"

The both of you felt a strong aura full of hatred and jealousy lingering off the fellow behind you. He had on a red hat with a white surgical mask on, he reminded you of Kaito. There was also a male and a woman beside him, looking away. Her blue hair was tied into a pony, and the other had normal blonde hair.

Kairi cleared his throat, reeling you back in. "Anyway, lets get started."

He began to pick out clothing he thought looked right on you, and persuaded you to try them on. Meeting with him out of school and actually getting to know him was fun, surprisingly.

"Gosh, all this stuff... I'll pay you back, I promise!" You raised a hand, apologizing. He shook his head with a chuckle, replying.

"No, it's fine. What's the point of having money and you don't spend it?" You stared at him for a while. He had a good point. You looked forward, then back down at the bags he was carrying. "At least let me carry my own things!"  You reached out to take some of the bags Kairi was kind enough to carry, but he moved away.

"It's not a lady's job to carry bags, so let me do it. But if you still insist on doing so, why don't we carry them together?" His charming smile and personality nearly seduced you. Your cheeks burned red before you shook your head.

"I don't know what you mean."

"Oh, come on." He rolled his eyes, then looked down to the handle on the bag. "Oh!" You felt stupid since it took you that long to understand what he meant. Finally, your hand lowered to the brown small rope on the left side of the bag,  taking ahold of it.

"Awe, this is so cute! I have to take a photo of this!" Yui chimed, digging for her phone. Soon enough, she found it, and pulled it out. But Tsukishima was quick to snatch it, holding it away. "No."

Kaito's eyes were still locked onto you two as Yui and Tsukishima was arguing, his dark aura more powerful than ever. "Why did I agree to this..." He muttered.

"You didn't have to join us. I'm actually worried about her being with that dude, I doubt you aren't." The blonde commented, handing Yui back her phone. "He's right though... I wasn't expecting you to tag along anyway. Plus, hatred is written all over your face, and the vibes you're letting off is giving us away! Not to mention me the creeps..."

Kaito clicked his teeth, focusing back on you and his older brother. "Tch. Shut up, ugly." Yui gasped, throwing her fists at his shoulder.

He simply ignored it. Though, she seemed to be holding back. "I'm not ugly! If anything, (Y/N) is the ugly on—"

Tsukishima's hands slipped into his pockets, turning to Yui who was throwing a fit. Kaito also gazed down at her with cold, intimidating glare. "What did you just say?"

"Yes, please continue." Tsukishima added, the blue haired girl backed away, rubbing the back of her head. "I was kidding! She's a pretty girl, why would I call my friend ugly? She looks better than me just a bit..."

"Hm... of course, I agree whole heartedly." Tsukishima smirked. The other didn't say a thing, he just— stared. Eventually he looked forward again to see Kairi and yourself gone.

"Shit! Where'd they go?!" Kaito removed himself from the pillar the three of themselves were hiding behind, looking around. They followed, seeing no sign of you and him. "I'll call her!" Yui said, beginning to dial in your number. Tsukishima took her hand, lowering the phone. "Don't do that, she'll get suspicious."

Yui's eyes widened, her heart skipping a beat. Her eyes met his hidden behind his spectacles, the color on her cheeks changing. 'H-Huh? W-What was that?' She asked herself, pulling her hand away.

"Let's just hope he's not taking her anywhere unsafe. I'll call him later tonight if he still isn't home." Kaito said, Tsukishima nodded. "The sun is going down, I'll wait for her just in case."  The blonde said, Kaito nodded. "Call me if something comes up, seriously. "

"I'm not making any promises." He said with a wave. The other huffed, walking away. "Whatever, I might come back tonight anyway."

Yui was still standing next to Tsukishima even though he basically dismissed the two. "Hey, you should start going home also. I don't want to walk you home." He bluntly stated, snapping her out of thought.

"O-Oh! I'm... staying here for a while also, if you don't mind..." She cooed, and he sighed. "Alright, fine. Are you hungry? Thirsty?" He asked, Yui nodded.

"Stay here, I'll go get us something to drink. There's a stand selling Taiyaki, is it cool if I get that?" He pointed, and she nodded.

As he trailed off to get them something to eat, Yui looked up at the sky, placing her hands on her cheeks.

"D-Do I... have feelings for Tsuki?"
