Chapter Eleven: I'm fine!
"Er, one second."
Pulling yourself out the pool's water, you slipped off the trunks you were wearing since this would be some competitive play.
After that, you returned back to the group, blinking at the eyes that were on you. "What?" You asked, tying your hair up.
"Nothing, just wondering why you decided to put on swimming trunks." Tsukishima blandly responded.
"I think it's cute~" Kairi spoke, his brother hitting his head. "Shut up."
"Sometimes it's hard to tell which one is the older one." You giggled, stepping back into the water. "But since it's five of us," Kaito started, glaring at his brother. "You'll have to be the referee."
It seemed like he didn't mind because he gladly accepted. Tsukishima raised his hand before pointing to Yui next to him. "This girl obviously has no experience with sports so I don't want to play with her." He bluntly stated, sending you into laughter.
"Well better get used to playin' with her 'cause (Y/N) is staying with me." You honestly could careless who's team you ended up being on, as long as it was fun.
Yui was quiet the whole time surprisingly, and didn't get ticked off from Tsukishima's comment.
"I guess it's cool, I'll be doing nothing but blocking anyway." He mumbled, inaudible to you all. He then maneuvered his body through the water reaching Yui, placing a hand on her head.
"Whatever you're thinking about cant stop you from winning, get it together." Kairi's lips pulled into a smug grin, holding his hand under his chin. "Ooh~ I see now. You got my full support!" He winked, Tsukishima rolling his eyes.
"Anyway, let's start." He said, rolling back his arm.

"Another point for (Y/N)'s team! 2-2"
"Tsukishima's blocking skills are amazing... I wonder who taught him." You whispered to Kaito.
"Tch, it's probably because he's so damn tall. I wouldn't give him too much credit for just jumping in the air." He sounded pissed.
He sounded like he wanted to win.
"If you say so..." You muttered, preparing yourselves for his serve in a receiving position. Yui was up, and looked pretty awkward, readying yourself for her serve.
"Um," Closing her eyes, she began to count down out loud. Tsukishima shook his head, face palming on her right.
The ball floated just for a while, before it hit the net, Kaito smuggling a grin. "I see us winning alrea—"
You quickly reached out for the ball that was tumbling down your side of the net, able to receive it with pure luck.
"Kaito! Shut up and just play!" You shouted, watching as he adjusted to the ball over his head. "My bad, no need to get all aggressive..."
He set the ball towards you, ready to spike, but Tsukishkma was blocking. 'He's so intimidating!' You screamed in your mind, rebounding the ball of the tip of his hands.
Kaito appeared behind you, sending the ball straight to Yui. It was obvious she was freaking out, so decided to just catch the ball.
"Another point for (Y/N)'s team once again, 3-2! You got the babe!~" He cheered out, ignoring him. Though your best friends seemed to want to put an end to him.
"Here, do this." You felt envy and jealousy rush into you, watching as the blonde helped position her to catch receives. Yui's cheeks tinted a faint pink as he did so, nodding her head. "'Kay, think I got it! Thanks Tsuki!"
"No problem." He blandly replied, readying for your serve. Once the ball made it over, Tsukishima moved towards the net, ready to set to Yui. "Whoa, Tsukishima's going to set to the newbie? I'm surprised he even knows how." Kaito smirked.
And what was next?
He tipped the ball of course, something you and Kaito never saw coming. "...Is this really beginners luck?" You asked, glancing at Kaito.
He began to scratch his head, listening to the referee some before excluding him out completely. "He's smart, that's all there is to it."
"A point for Yui's team! 3-3!"
"Can we end the game now? It's an even score and I want to have some fun too.~" Kairi said as you nodded your score. "I agree, I had a lot of fun, but let's do some other things as well." You said with a smile, they had no choice but to listen.
"Yeah, alright." Kaito responded, dragging himself out the water, heading to his things. After pulling yourself out, you headed over to Tsukishima and Yui, parting your lips.
"Hey Tsuki! I didn't k ow you knew how to play Volleyball! Who taught you? Your brother?" You guessed despite not knowing if he even had one.
"Don't worry about it." He answer casually, walking to his chair to pick up his towel. You watched as he began to dry his blonde hair, though he barely got it wet.
"Oh wait, I heard you transferred from Karasuno! Their Volleyball team was pretty good, but I haven't done any research about the members. Perhaps you were—" Interrupted by his harsh shout, you stepped back, awkwardly giggling.
"I said don't worry about it, bother someone else!" Those words and his tie caught everyone's attention, Yui evilly smirked.
"Oh, I'm sorry... won't happen again!" You smiled, walking back over to Kaito and his brother. "What was that all about?" Kairi asked, stretching his arms.
You waved your hand with a shake of your head, gesturing it was okay. "It's nothing really, I was basically being an idiot."
"Yeah well if that's the case he would've never yelled at a person like you like that." Kaito added, crossing his arms. "What really happened?"
"I said it's nothing! Like I said I was just being an idiot, and that's the truth." Grabbing him by the wrist, you tugged him forward, pulling him towards the slide most was afraid of getting on.
"Let's have some fun!" Kairi was quick to tag along even though he was shaking in his boots, Yui and Tsukishima followed as well.
"Are you really okay?" Kaito asked worriedly, but you nodded your head. "I'm fine, really! Don't worry about it!"
There's no doubt that Tsukishima's reaction made you uneasy, you had to make up with him fast.
