A Old World Species do not turn into animals, but a hybrid of were (humaniod form) and their animal form (in this case serval).

Serval: A wild cat native to Africa. It is widespread in southern sub-Saharan countries of Africa, from Senegal to Ethiopia and Somalia, and from Angola to southeastern Africa, except rainforest regions of West Africa or the Congo. 

Across its range, it occurs in protected areas, and hunting it is either prohibited or regulated in range countries. It is the sole member of the genus Leptailurus.

Habitat: Tall grass, reed beds, and heavy underbrush along with a permanent water source create ideal habitats for servals. They are most common in savanna grassland and dry forest, though they also favour high, rocky alpine and subalpine meadows, moorland, and high altitude bamboo forest. These cats also live in areas with dense human populations.
