Chapter Nine

The girls were taken to the station. Not many people went there like they used to so they were unnerved. Well, if you ignored the fact you were hauled in by a Vechicon.

If someone commited an illegal act or acts, no Vechicon stopped them. Only unless if someone broke their "laws". Meaning, if someone got in the Decepticons way or if someone didn't play their dumb game maybe.

So, they knew they could be facing death maybe. They messed around with the Decepticons stuff and they didn't like it. Well what now? No justice system was in place except, "I'll do whatever the heck I want because I'm in charge and your not" speech.

Cameron resisted a sigh.

She wasn't ready to die yet. Not really.

They didn't fight or resist when taken, knowing it would be foolish. So, they remained smart and walked into the building. They were blasted with cold air which made Jacklyn wonder why they needed AC. Many they same cloned Vechicons looked over at the human girls but began to move away as someone different walked into the room.

Someone you knew was in charge. The atmosphere was tense. The bot had badges on his arms, his fingers had brass knuckles, he was bigger than the rest. He was not a cloned vechicon. He looked...real. there was a chained necklace he wore as he walked in front of them. A small growl escaped his throat which made Jacklyn take a good step back.

Who was this bot? They never saw him around. This bot definitely could transform into a police car as they saw the lights and barricaded rack on his chest.

Cameron gulped at the silence. The bot stared them down for a moment, his four eyes narrowing.

"You're lucky Lord Megatron sent me to talk to you...if he ever left Canada to come all this way to chat to you, you would be dead, fleshlings." The head honcho threatened, glaring.

Jacklyn instinctively grabbed her best friends hand, fear coursing through her chest making her eyes widen.

"So...your not killing us, sir bot, head of this killing division?" Cameron managed to say, her voice wavering.

The bot smirked, amused by their frightened looks. "No. And my designation is Barricade which you will remember." He growled, crouching down to them. "You pathetic humans will be punished for stealing those blueprints." He spoke, his tone light as he enjoyed this.

Cameron flinched and gripped her friends hand tighter. A million possibilities coursed through her mind. Torture, killing of parents, killing of friends, house arrest...which well...wasn't as bad as the others but if caught leaving then it could turn ugly.

Jacklyn stared Barricade down, looking him over. She was quiet, scared but also calculating. She wanted to take in every single word Barricade said to know their obstacles. Although I Barricade was intimidating and she really didn't want to die, she was still saving these Autobots.

Barricade then held out his servo. "You're cell phones. If you will." He smirked. The girls began digging into their pockets without haste. Cameron found hers and handed it to him as Jacklyn then turned hers in. Barricade stood and walked over to the new counter they installed, since before it was human hieght. Cybertronian words filled their ears and a vechicon took the cell phones, plugging a cord in.

Jacklyn looked to Cameron. "Having second thoughts about the rescue mission?" She whispered. There wasn't a response at first as Cameron stared at the two bots. She went to open her mouth but then shut it, not wanting to say it. Jacklyn frowned, worried.

Barricade walked back over and knelt down. "Since you two are so good at retrieving things, more items have been added to your little grocery list." He said as the girls took their phones back. The devices were flashing blue. Jacklyns eyes widened. More than 20 items were added. Her mouth went to open but she shut it, her jaw clenching. This wasn't fair.

"Are we good to go?" Jacklyn growled a little, angered. Barricade stood back up, his posture straightening.

"Yes. Go before I kill you. My digits are just twitching to grab my gun." The police car smirked, his digits twitching for effect. A vechicon escorted them out and sure enough, their Laserbeaks were waiting for them outside. They were on the ground, waiting.

Jacklyn sucked in a breath as they began walking home, the Laserbeaks flying up and following overhead. "At least were not dead." She mummured.

Cameron nodded, "But we might die soon." She gave her friend a small sheepish smile.

Jacklyn frowned deeply. "What do you mean?" She asked, worry in her eyes.

Camera lifted the camera up from around her neck. She noticed the Laserbeaks were watching so she winked to Jacklyn.

"I just love taking pictures of everything." Cameron said with a big grin.
