Third person perspective

The Rebel X-Wing's and Y-Wing's are now approaching the Death Star's position.

As they get closer the Death Star comes into view.

The Red Leader comes over the comms.

Red Leader: All wing's report in.

Pilot: Red Ten Standing by.

Pilot #2: Red Seven standing by.

Biggs: Red Three standing by.

Porkins: Red Six Standing by.

Pilot #3: Red Nine standing by.

Wedge: Red Two standing by.

Pilot #4: Red Eleven standing by.

Y/N: Red Four standing by.

Luke: Red Five standing by.

Red Leader: Lock S-foils in attack position.

The ship's get close to the Death Star and pass through the magnetic field.

Y/N: Whoa. Okay. We got this, R1.

R1-S6: (Beeps.)

Wedge: Look at the size of that thing.

Red Leader: Cut the chatter, Red Two. Accelerate to attack speed. This is it, boys.

Gold Leader: Red Leader, this is Gold Leader. We're heading to the target shaft.

Red Leader: Copy that.

The other Rebel ship's fly down to draw the cannon fire.

The cannons fire at the Rebel ship's.

Luke: This is Red Five. I'm going in.

Skywalker flies down and fires at the surface of the space station.

Y/N: Luke, pull up!

He flies up to get alongside Y/N and Biggs.

Biggs: Luke, are you okay?

Luke: I got a little cooked, but I'm okay.

As the battle continues Y/N fires his lasers and takes out more surface cannons.

He then looks over to see multiple T.I.E fighter's coming towards them.

Y/N: Red Leader, we're about to have alot of company.

Red Leader: I see 'em, Red Four. Stay sharp and take 'em out!

As the battle goes on the Rebels start losing ship's to the fighter's.

Y/N: Red Three, you've got a T.I.E on your tail.

Biggs: I can't see him. He's on me tight. I can't shake him.

Y/N: Hold on. I'm almost there.

Carsen flies up behind the fighter and takes it out to save Biggs.

Biggs: Thanks, Red Four.

Red Leader: Good shootin', Y/N.

After that Luke gets hit by a stray blast from a T.I.E.

Wedge flies in and takes it out for him.

Red Squadron goes on to protect Gold Leader and his team while they take the shot.

A moment later Gold Squadron takes the shot, but miss the shaft.

Just then Carsen feels a cold presence through the force.

The same presence he felt on the Death Star.

Y/N: (Whispers) Vader. He's here.

After that Red Leader comes over the comms.

Red Leader: Red boys, this is Red Leader. Rendezvous at mark 6.1.

Wedge: This is Red Two, flying towards you now.

Y/N: Red Four standing by.

Biggs: Red Three standing by.

Red Leader: Luke, take Red Two, Three and Four. Hold up here and wait for my signal to start your run.

Luke: Copy that.

Y/N: Luke, I got a bad feeling about this.

Skywalker sighs.

Luke: Me too.

The other X-Wing's start there run led by Red Leader.

Red Leader takes the shot, but also misses.

Red Leader: It didn't go in. Just impacted on the surface.

Vader immediately takes out Red Leader, leaving Y/N, Luke, Wedge and Biggs to start their run.

Luke: Alright, guys, it's up to us. We're going in full throttle. That should keep those fighter's off our backs.

Wedge: Right with you, boss.

Luke: Y/N, you're with me. We'll both take the shot.

Y/N: Alright, good call.

Biggs: Luke, at that speed will you and Y/N be able to pull out in time.

Luke: Just like Beggar's Canyon back home.

The four ship's fly down and start their run.

As they get closer Vader shows up with T.I.E fighter's on his tail.

One fires and hits Wedge's ship.

Wedge: I'm hit. I can't stay with you.

Y/N: Get clear, Wedge. You can't do anymore good back there.

Wedge: Sorry.

Red Two pulls up and flies away from the run.

Vader also sees this.

Vader: Let him go. Stay on those leader's.

Biggs: Guys, hurry. They're coming in faster this time. Hurry!

After that Biggs is taken out by the Imperials.

Carsen and Skywalker use their targeting computers to get a clean shot.

Just then Y/N hears Zayne call out through the force.

Zayne: Use the force, Y/N. You still have it. Use it, let go.

At this time Vader feels the connection that both Y/N and Luke have to the force.

Vader: The force is strong with them.

Y/N: Zayne.

Zayne: Y/N, trust me.

Caresn switches off his computer and looks over to see Luke has done the same.

They look at each other and realise they both heard a voice.

Rebel: Luke, Y/N, you've both switched off your targeting computers. What's wrong?

Luke: Nothing. We're alright.

Y/N: We got this.

Just then Luke's ship gets hit and R2 is taken out.

Y/N: Come on. Almost there.

Lord Vader gets Y/N in his sights.

Vader: I have you now.

Before he can fire the fighter next to Vader's ship is taken out.

Vader: What?

Carsen looks back to see the Millennium Falcon fly down.

Han: Ya-hoo!!!!

The other T.I.E crashes and the blast sending Vader flying off into space.

After that Solo comes over the comms.

Han: You're all clear, boys! Now, let's blow this thing and go home.

Both Y/N and Luke fire their torpedoes and their shots go into the reactor shaft.

Y/N: Yes!

The two pull up and fly away with the Falcon and other Rebel ship's.

A moment later the Death Star blows up.

Y/N: Hahaha! We did it!

Han: Great shot, boys! That was one in a million.

Zayne: Remember, the force will be with you, always.

Y/N: (Whispers) I remember.

Now the Death is gone and the Rebel ship's fly back to Yavin 4.
