Two Months Later/January 2021

Jaelyn

It's been two months since I suffered a broken nose off my face via Candice LaRae. I've been wearing a protective mask over my face. I looked like Trish Stratus with it on but I made it look better than her.

Plus, I ain't complaining like some girls do about their nose. However, Fergal and I have been distant with each other lately since we've both been injured. I feel like I am laying next to a stranger.

Lately, I've been missing my family in California. "Mom," Bridgette said. "Hey, Bridgette. How was school?" I asked.

"Good. Where's Dad Fergal?" she asked. "He's at the Performance Center preparing for New Year's Evil," I said.

Bridgette nodded. "Why? What's wrong?" I asked. Bridgette shrugged. "I noticed that you two have been pretty distant. He's always coming home late. I feel like he's seeing someone else. Do you believe he is?" she asked.

"You know that Fergal and I have been off and on before. I still feel like he's seeing someone else but my gut is telling me that he is. Sometimes I regret not going through the divorce," I said.

I heard the doorbell ringing. I got up to go answer the door. I opened it, seeing my brother JJ, sister in law Lauren and Vivienne and Alice.

"JJ, Lola, what are you guys doing here?" I asked. ""Uncle JJ, Aunt Lola!" Bridgette and the twins said, running to them.

"Hey kiddos," JJ said. They all hug each other. I hugged Lola. "How have you guys been?" I asked Lola. "We've been good," Lola said.

I let them in my house. "This is a beautiful house," Lola said. "Thank you. It's not my dream house but it'll do," I said.

"So where is Fergal at?" JJ asked. "Performance Center. He's getting back in ring training after he broke his jaw in three places," I said.

---

After I showed JJ and Lauren my house, we sat down on the couch to catch up. The kids are upstairs playing.

"So what made you guys come over?" I asked. "Well, I know you told us that we were dead to you if we didn't support your marriage to Fergal," JJ said.

"I mostly said that to you and Nicole, JJ. Because you guys can't forgive Fergal for cheating on me. Mom and Brie forgave him and moved on from it. I mean, I forgave Fergal for cheating on me with Cathy and Vero. Couple made mistakes and I moved on," I said.

"However, I told JJ that he needs to accept the fact that Jaelyn's happy with Fergal. Don't break up family because we don't like one of the family's significant others," Lauren said.

"Do you accept that I forgave Fergal and continued to stay married to him?" I asked. "Of course. You guys stay together for the sake of the children," Lauren said. I nodded, sighing.

"Is everything okay, Jae?" JJ asked. I shrugged, sighing. "Do you ever have a gut feeling that someone is cheating again?" I asked.

"No," JJ and Lauren said. "Huh? Maybe it's just me," I said. "Do you believe Fergal's cheating?" JJ asked.

"Well, after we decided not to divorce and we got injured, Fergal and I have been distant from each other. I feel like I am lying next to a stranger," I said.

"Do you regret not going through divorcing Fergal?" Lauren asked. I shrugged, sighing. "I don't know. I might need time to think about this," I said.

"You know you can take the time you need," Lauren said. I nodded, sighing.

Later That Night

I am at the CWC Center in the NXT Performance Center. Fergal's preparing to defend his NXT Championship in a rematch against Kyle O'Reilly.

Lauren and JJ are watching the twins. Bridgette's with her dad Bryson. I am backstage with Fergal as he prepares for his title defense against Kyle.

I'm managing him tonight with my face mask on. "Hey, Jae," Fergal said. "Hey," I said, sitting down.

"You look beautiful," he said, smiling. "Thank you, babe," I said, smiling. I sighed softly. "Jaelyn, are you okay?" he asked.

I shook my head. "Not really. Do you regret not going through the divorce?" I asked. "No, of course now. Why?" he asked.

I looked at him. "Why? Do you?" he asked. "To be honest, I feel like we are distant from each other since we decided not to divorce. Every time we go to bed, I feel like I am lying next to a stranger," I said.

"Are you saying? Do you want a divorce?" he asked. "I think we should separate from each other for three months and see if we still love each other or not," I said.

Fergal nodded. "Okay, you can go now. Don't even bother managing me tonight," he said, angrily. I got up from the chair, leaving his area.

I shut the door, sighing. I walked away from the area and found a crate to sit on. I grabbed my phone, looking at Instagram.

---

I sighed softly, looking at my phone. "Oh hey," I hear Marcel. I look over, seeing Marcel. "Hi," I said, looking at my phone.

"Why are you sitting here alone, Schatz? Shouldn't you be with your hubby, warming him up for his match?" Marcel asked.

"He's busy preparing for his match. Why do you care?" I asked angrily. "Hey, hey. Easy, tiger. I was asking," he said.

"Sorry for my attitude," I said to him. "Want to talk about it?" Marcel asked. "I'm not sure to be honest," I said.

"Maybe not here. Do you want to go outside and talk?" Marcel asked. I nodded. "I think it's a better idea," I said. Marcel and I leave the Performance Center to go outside to talk.

Marcel and I walked away from the Performance Center. "So what's going on?" Marcel asked. I sighed softly.

"Months ago, Fergal and I decided to not divorce each other and continue our marriage. However, since we've both gotten injured and decided to stay married, Fergal and I have been distant with each other. I feel like I am laying next to a stranger every night," I said.

"Oh. I always thought you two had a good marriage. Is there something about Fergal that no one knows about?" Marcel asked. "Are you sure you want to know?" I asked.

"Is it bad?" he asked. I looked at Marcel. "It's a long story," I said. "I got time. Tell me," he said, looking at me.

I looked at Marcel, sighing. "Do you know the old saying 'once a cheater, always a cheater'?" I asked.

"Yes. I know that saying. Did he cheat on you?" he asked. I nodded. "He cheated on me back in 2017 with Cathy Kelly. And then he repeated history by cheating on me with Veronica Rodriguez in 2019 as you saw and I stayed with him because we have twin children together," I said.

"Okay. Do you feel like he'll cheat on you a third time?" he asked. "It's a gut feeling so yeah," I said.

"Well. I have one question for you. Do you want to stay married to him?" he asked. "To be honest, I asked him about me and him separating for three months and see what happens. He got mad and told me don't bother managing him," I said.

Marcel nodded. "That's not right. My father would never talk to my mum like that. That's not how a husband should talk to his wife," he said.

"Are your parents still married?" I asked. "My dad passed away back in 2015. My mum is a widow," he said.

"I am so sorry. I had no idea," I asked. "It's okay. However, if you need anyone to talk to, you can always talk to me," he said.

I nodded. "Will do. Your English is really good for a German man. No offense," I said. "None taken. That's a good complement," he said.

"Can you say something to me in German?" I asked. "Du bist eine schöne Frau, die etwas Besseres verdient," he said in German.

"What's that mean?" I asked. "You are a beautiful woman who deserves better," he said, in English.

"Gracias," I said, in Spanish. "Ohh, are you a Latina girl?" he asked. "Mexican/Italian girl," I said, smiling.

Marcel and I stood up. "Well, see you around. If you want to talk, you know where to find me," Marcel said, smiling.

I nodded, smiling back. "See you around, Marcel," I said, smiling at him as I walked away from Marcel.

I went back inside the Performance Center. I headed to the women's locker room. I grabbed my things and headed out.

"Jaelyn, where are you going? Our hubbies match is coming up" Melissa asked. "Home. I'm not feeling well. Tell Fergal I'll see him at home," I said, opening the door.

Melissa nodded. "I will," she said. I leave the Performance Center, heading to my car. I started my car, driving home.

Later That Night

I am at home, packing up some of Fergal's clothes. I put them in a suitcase, including his beard products and wrestling gear that he needs.

Bridgette's back home along with the twins. The twins are asleep. "So what's going on? Why are you packing Fergal's stuff?" Bridgette asked.

"Fergal and I are gonna separate for three months. Then we see if we are still in love with each other or not," I said.

Bridgette nodded. "Well, I better go to bed. I have school in the morning," Bridgette said. "Want me to tuck you in?" I asked.

Bridgette nodded, hugging me. I hugged her, kissing her cheek. "Night, Momma, love you," she said, smiling.

"Night, Bridge. Love you too," I said. Bridgette went to her room. I zipped up Fergal's suitcase, taking it downstairs.

I sat down on the couch, waiting for him to return home. I grabbed my phone, checking my Instagram.

I see a red one in the messages. I clicked on it, seeing that Marcel messaged me. 'Hey, just checking to make sure you're okay. After our talk. Talk to you later'.

I replied to Marcel. 'Thank you for listening tonight. I really appreciate it. :) Have a good night', sending the reply.

I got out of Instagram. I heard the door opening. "Jaelyn, I'm home," Fergal said. I see Fergal, shutting the door.

Fergal sees his suitcase. "What's this?" he asked. "It's a suitcase for you. Since we are separating for a few months, I want you to find another place to live during the separation," I said.

Fergal looked at me. "You're kicking me out?" he asked. I shook my head. "If we're gonna be separated for three months, we don't need to be under the same roof," I said.

Fergal nodded. "Okay. If you want to see the twins, you give me a call," I said. Fergal nodded, sighing.

"All right. I want them this weekend," he said. "You'll get them on weekends and I get them during the week. Sounds good?" I asked.

"Sounds good," he said. I nodded. "Well bye," I said. "Bye, Jaelyn," Fergal said, grabbing this other suitcase.

Fergal opens the door. "Jaelyn, I love you. Always will," he said, leaving as he shuts the door. I went to lock the door behind him.

I set the alarm to prevent anyone from getting it. I headed upstairs, turning my lights off. I headed to my room, laying down.

Well, that was the end of The Rebel Bella. I'm sorry to end the story of Jae Bella and Finn Balor at the beginning of their separation. If you want me to continue the story. Let me know in the comments.

Will Jaelyn and Fergal's marriage continue? Will they divorce after the separation? Will they stay married? Will Jaelyn continue a friendship with her new friend Marcel Barthel? What happens if Jaelyn and Fergal divorce? Will Jaelyn's family welcome her back?
