Bree's pov.
I get home by 10:00am. I had to apologise Maria for my behaviour yesterday.

I was really rude and she was just trying to help. I enter and go right into the kitchen. I knew Maria would be there.

"Maria? " I call her. She turns to me with a small smile. I go and hug her.

"I'm really sorry for my behaviour yesterday. I didn't mean to hurt you. I....I was just....." I say and she cuts me .

"It's alright sweetheart. I know you better than that, " she says. I release her from my hug.

"I need your help, " I say actually trying to smile.

"For what? " she asks me.

"I'm going to Annie's wedding.", I say and she smiles.

"That's great news . Then what are we waiting for? " she asks me with excitement.

It's been an hour and Maria is still going through my wardrobe for a perfect dress as she calls it.

I need to dress up well instead of looking like a lost person that I am. Atleast that would make Annie happy.

I couldn't help but think about my confrontation with Aiden since he'll be there.

"Here it is. A perfect dress for you, " Maria says holding out a grey colour floor length dress that my mom designed.

I nod as I come out of my shower in my bathrobe. She starts doing my hair and make up. She loves dress up and she did everything to make me look beautiful.

She left my curls over my shoulders. Atleast I was no more looking like I cried. I put on the dress .

"You look so pretty sweetheart, " she says looking at me .

Good thing I finished having my lunch cause I couldn't after going to the wedding.

"Thank you so much Maria, " I thank her with a small smile. We get down to the living room.

I take my wallet and phone. I had atleast half an hour to start. I better call Jackson.

"Hey Jackson, " I say.

"Hey Kitty. Okay I'm going to pretend that you were fine yesterday, " he says and I knew why . I didn't call him .

"We'll talk about it later Jackson. I'm going to Annie's wedding, " I tell him.

"That's great. Just tell me if anything goes wrong, " he says and I knew he was smiling at little.

"Will do. I need to leave now. So bye, " I say.

"Bye. Love you Kitty, " he says and drops the call. I get up to walk out of the house.

"Maria I'm leaving, " I announce .

"Bye sweetheart. Just call me if anything goes wrong, " she says and I nod.

I get into the car and Brad drives me to the place. On the way I can't help but think how this whole thing is going to work.

I get out of the car and thank Brad for driving me.

"Just be here by eight thirty or so, " I tell him and he nods before taking off. I take a deep breath before going into Annie's room. She was there along with Eliza.

"Hey, " I say as I close the door behind me. They both smile looking at me.

"You look beautiful Annie and Eliza you look gorgeous too, " I say with a fake smile.

"You look beautiful honey. Like always. Thanks for coming, " Eliza says and hugs me.

"You look really beautiful Bree. Thanks for coming, " Annie says and I half hug her trying not to ruin her make up.

"I'm sorry about that day Annie, " I tell her truthfully.

"Don't be Bree. I understand and know you better, " she says and I give her a thankful smile .

The others take over and start crowding the place so I just get out of there and stand in their lawn.

Every memory I had with this family start playing and I stop the tears from rolling down. I walk into the place the wedding was about to take place and sit on one of the front rows.

My head starts aching and the sleepless night shows its effect. I always had tablets for headache in my wallet.

I walk to the place where the water was kept and swallow the tablet. It was four and people were already here.

Annie walks in with the bridesmaids and the boys behind her. Aiden's eyes flicker to mine. I look away not wanting to look at him anymore. I've had enough .

I sit there silently and Rachel texts me . I continue texting her. I stopped when they started reciting their vows. Annie looked really happy.

A small smile forms on my face when I think that Jared would've been so happy to see his sister happy. The smile doesn't last long.

I sat on one of the tables least bothered about what the people around were talking. My head was really aching badly .

Eliza made me sit next to her and I was feeling worse. I needed some fresh air.

"I'll be right back, " I tell Eliza and leave. I get to the lawn . It was so peaceful. I close my eyes and cover my face with my hands.

"You look beautiful, " someone says and I my head snaps to see who it was. Aiden of course.

"What do you want? " I ask him with the bitterness in my voice .

"I want you to listen to what I say, " he says taking a seat next to me.

"Not happening, " I tell him with my face still in my hands.

"Please Bree, " he says. I had to get over with this.

"Not now Aiden. I'm having a bad head ache and you're making it worse. Could we just not talk now, " I say. I look over to Aiden to see his face covered with guilt.

"I can't change it Aiden. You've broke my trust. You knew that I haven't trusted anyone in such a long time. I've trusted you and I regret it. I thought you were different, " I say. There were no tears this time.

"I know I've done a mistake Bree but trust me I knew I lost the bet the moment I spoke to you for the first time. I forgot about the bet ever since I've met you. I didn't want to get you laid but I wanted to be your friend, " he says .

"Then why didn't you tell me? " I ask him.

"I was scared to lose a good friend, " he says still looking at me. I stand up feeling a little dizzy.

"Are you alright? " he asks me. I nod.

"Just need some water, " I say walking to get myself some water. I felt better after having some water. Eliza then drags me to have dinner.

I actually eat since I was hungry. After dinner I go back to the table and sit all alone thinking.

There's half an hour left for Brad to come. Annie comes around and I stand up.

"Why don't you dance with Aiden? " she asks me. Man, I'm so fucking trapped.

I can't say no to her cause I couldn't dishearten her on her wedding. I nod giving her a fake smile. Aiden takes my hand.

"I can't dance, " I lie looking away.

"You're bad at lying. I've seen you dance before, " Aiden whispers into my ear. My eyes widen and I look at him.

"I've never danced in school so when did you see me dance? " I ask him.

"My mom owns the dance studio you go to, " he says with a smile.

"So you were the person who was watching me through the glass ? " I ask him and he nods. I look away .

"You've crossed a line Aiden. That was my personal thing, " I say and feel his eyes on me as we dance. He pulls me closer and I look up at him. He looked serious.

"Leave me Aiden, " I hiss through my teeth.

"I never going lose you again baby doll, " he says and I look at him shocked. I push him but his holds me tight. I give up.

"You changed me into a better person Bree. As much as I hate the bet , I'm thankful to Ricky cause I met you. Believe it or not I'm not giving up on you Bree, " he says and I stare at him shocked.

His faces just inches away from me. I look away and he ends up kissing my cheek.

"I don't think you want to give up on the bet Aiden, " I say and push him away hard . He looks at me hurt.

Really? I don't care . No one ever bothered how hurt I was. Brad was already there so I say my goodbyes and leave. Bloody idiot.

I rub my cheek to get the sensation of his lips away. All it reminds me of Jared. Tears roll down as I look at the darkness of the night.
