It was the morning of Hololive festival as I got up getting ready dressing up and having my voice modifier mask on me in a case. I left my room with my things heading downstairs. "Hey mom." I said. "Morning son I got some good news." She said. "Like." I said. "Your father just arrived last night but he's sleeping right now due to the jet flight from America to Japan." She said as if made me happy. "Alright also before I leave I should give you these." I said handing her a pair of tickets for the event for her and dad. "Thanks son I'll text you when me and your father arrive." She said as I nodded leaving the house.

-At the Venue-

I soon arrived seeing calli and the rest of her genmates and even Alani there as well. "Hey (D/n) you stinky you arrived." A certain shark girl said. "Can't really miss the big day." I said. "You're not wearing your mask." A certain detective said. "Why do you think Ame." Kiara said. "The reason is probably because he doesn't want to collapse like at the office the other day." Ina said. "Who told you that." Kiara said. "Calli told me." Ina said. "I can honestly see (D/n) as the guy version of Calli both overwork themselves." Gura said. "Should I take it as a compliment or an insult." I said. "I would say take it both ways." Alani said looking at me.

"Besides looking at the day one schedule the duo performance for you guys is day 1 while solo performances are on Day 2." Calli said. "Damm so even Myth and advent are performing as well justice and promise is performing day 2." I said looking at it. "It seems we're also performing after Advent." Alani said as I looked closely. "So they'll want us to go through equipment checks and practice sessions." I said as Alani nodded. "So we best get to the concert hall." Alani said. "Alright we'll see ya guys later." I said as I went with Alani to the music hall where the performances for today will be held.

No one's pov

Alani and (D/n) made it to the hall seeing the stage set up and Advent just finishing up their rehearsal for today's show later. "(D/n), Alani." The Fuwamoco twins said. "I still can't get used to the twins talking in sync." Alani said. "Don't worry you'll get used to it." He said as the rest of Advent were behind them. "(D/n) were you able to do it." Biboo said. "Gotta pay the senpai tax some way." He chuckled. "Biboo what did you make (D/n) do." Nerissa said. "Oh nothing." Biboo said innocently but shiori caught some wind of it but decided to not say anything.

"Anyways you two should probably get up there staff should be ready with you guys." Shiori said as (D/n) and Alani saw staff finishing up the set ups. "Ahh (D/n), Alani." Both their managers said. "Now let's run it see that everything is up." Izumi said. "Do you know what song we're doing?" (D/n) said looking at Alani. "While you were out your manager was looking through the songs you were working on yesterday and she came to the conclusion with this." Alani said setting up the computer showing the mix.

"That's the song I was working on when I first arrived at the office yesterday." He said. "Yeah the others songs you did she said could be used for tomorrow's remix's but I saw a specific one written Biboo tax." Alani said as he chuckled. "You'll see what I mean for tomorrow." He said as Alani nodded. The two did a short run through with the song adjusting the sounds making sure it wasn't too loud or soft to not erupt the listeners ears. After two hours of practice the staff gave a thumbs up seeing that everything was up in order. "Seeing that the convention starts at 10 am and the performances start at 12pm." (D/n) said. "There's also panels as well." Alani said taking a look at it. "Panels." (D/n) said looking at the schedule seeing they have a panel. "Seeing that it's 9 am we should probably start heading over there to set up." Alani said as (D/n) nodded.

Readers pov

It was the hour of Hololive fest as I was with Alani and Yagoo sitting at a front stage with a crowd in front of us. There was a microphone at the front of the stage to let them ask questions to me and Alani. "This question is for (D/n) for that mask of yours how long did it take to make." They ask. "This mask took almost a few months with a help of a friend." I said as the next person came up. "This is a question for both of you will we see an original song from both of you." The next person said as Alani spoke first. "From each of us yes for a collab song that can we say in the future." Alani said as I nodded in agreement.

After some time we were going through peoples questions some normal and some a little overboard. We went to the back stage since Yagoo was still hosting. "Hey (D/n)." Me and Alani looked to see it was just Watson by herself. "Watson why are you by yourself." I said looking at her. "Well the others had some collab panels and I'm not busy until tomorrow." She said. "Really." I said as she nodded. "Anyways I'm probably gonna do my own thing." Alani said leaving it to be me and Watson. "So (D/n) anything on your mind." Ame said as I had thought about what that old lady told me yesterday be honest and ask her out.

"Hey Ame I got a question." I said. "And this detective has an answer." Ame said. "Anyways what would you do if you have a crush on someone that you only knew for about a week or so." I said turning off my voice modifier. "Ahh a question about love to be honest I'm not the best with advice but I can try my best who's the lucky lady." Ame said. I scratched the side of my mask. "It's calli." I said. "Ohh calli." She said nudging my shoulder. "Yea anyways I was gonna ask her out on date after the event." I said. "Oh getting bold you two do have great chemistry." Ame said. "Yeah even my parents came to support me for my performance today." I said as I took off my mask.

"That's good so what will you do now." Ame said. "I'll probably walk around the convention seeing the booths before the concert." I said as I was leaving the panel room.

Calli's pov

I was finished with my panel with bae and irys. "So Calli any plans after the panel." Irys said. "Probably explore the hall see any booths." I said as (D/n) walked passed us. "Hey (D/n)." Bae said as the three of us walked up to him. "Oh hey guys seems your done with your panel." He said. "Yeah we were gonna kill time until the time for the performances." Irys said. "Was gonna explore the convention hall." He said.

"Son." The four of us looked to see it was a blonde man that same man who I saw in that family photo with his wife. 'Wait is that (y/n)'s father.' I thought to myself. "Dad." (D/n) said hugging his pops. "Ara Ms calliope it's nice to see you." His mom said. "Oh it's great to see you Ms Tanaguchi." I said as irys and bae looked to see I knew his mom for some reason. "Please call me Anna." Anna said giggling. "Hey (D/n) can we borrow calli for a second." Irys said. "Uhh sure." He said as they took me to the side. "Calli what details are you not telling us." Bae said. "Well I did meet his mom once when we went out for food that one time." I said scratching my head. "We also stayed the night at a hotel due to my drunk idiocy." I added. "A h-hotel." Irys said. "Get your mind out of the Gutter irys. Anyways Calli judging by the way things are going I think (D/n)'s gonna make the first move." Bae said.

"The way things are going." I said as bae nodded. We heard a small cough seeing that it was (D/n) with his mask off I guess this the first time irys and bae saw his actual face for the first time. His (s/c) skin, (H/c) hair, and his (e/c) eyes. 'No Calli you shouldn't be focused on (Y/n).' I thought to myself. "Anyways guys except Calli who knows my mom. Bae, Irys this is my mom Anna Tanaguchi and my Father Leo Tanaguchi." (D/n) said. "It's nice to meet you all and Ms Calliope my son told me a lot about you." His father said. 'He told his father about me what did he say.' I thought to myself even knowing that I'm the apprentice of the grim reaper. "Well Calli me and irys are gotta go I think our managers are calling us good luck." Bae said leaving me with (y/n) and his parents.

"He did." I said as his father nodded. "Told me you are a music artist." He said as his wife whispered nodding along. "Well son me and your mother are gonna go to find some good seats for your guys performance." His dad said leaving it just me and him. "Well your father's a nice guy." I said. "Yeah he tries his best to be there for me." (D/n) said as I pulled my phone out of my pocket seeing that that have an hour before it starts. "We should start getting to the venue." I said as he nodded. We were about to start walking over there until he grabbed my hand. "(D/n)." I said. "Maybe after the event do you wanna go out." He said. 'Wait is he asking me out.' I thought to myself. "Sure but we should make it before we're late." I said as he let go of my hand as we started heading to the venue.
