First of all, tell us how you stumbled upon Wattpad and when.

- I stumbled upon Wattpad through a friend almost a year ago, although I was hesitant to join at first. After a while I saw her not only writing books but joining competitions and making graphics and I figured it would help me grow, not just as a writer, but as a designer too!

What do you like to read? Do you have a favourite genre or any specific likes?

- I love fantasy and anything to do with thinking outside the box. Different, unique ideas are what appeal to me and anything that is unimaginable in the real world. I also love anything horror!

What compels you to pick up a pen and scribble down your thoughts? How did you get into graphics design?

- I've been writing since I could hold a pen/pencil and my dad always said I have the weirdest imagination. I guess I sort of just wrote down jumbled thoughts that come to me when they come to me and later I make them into something that makes sense. As for graphic designing, I started because of college. I'm a media student and we had to learn various programmes for class and photoshop was one of them.

- Being a writer, what's the easiest part of writing and which aspect do you consider the most challenging?

The easiest part for me is coming up with the story. The challenge is typing it down because I either have no time or motivation and procrastination is my best friend.

What kind of environment do you prefer to write in?

- A quiet one with nobody around. Or a place where there's nice music playing. As long as there's music and no people I could write anywhere. Oh yes, and I need food.

Tell us about your growth as an author and designer.

- Well I feel like since I started both writing and designing I've have major improvements. I learn from other writers and designers about what to do and what not to do, and from where I started out I think I'm in a better place now, though there is still definitely loads of room for improvement.

Do you have a favorite author or book?

- That's like asking me to pick my favourite dog breed. I love dogs. I can't name one but I can say that the Harry Potter series as a whole, holds a special place in my heart.

Besides writing and design, do you have any hidden talents?

- Ummmm well I sing, but like the shower kind. I also design off the computer, so painting and drawing and basically anything to do with creativity and imagination.

You're sitting in front of a brand new aspiring writer, what do you say?

- Never give up because that's the only thing that will keep you from reaching your goal. If you really want it, do something about it.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time? Don't be afraid to tell us something funny, we won't tell.

- Making graphics! I love making graphics of all kinds. I also love reading and playing soccer.

Now, the most awaited question of every young reader, do you have any childish habits? Do you like cartoons or chocolates?

- Childish habits... well I do have this thing of wanting any stuffed toy I see. I just love stuffed toys.

Do you prefer sweet or salty?

- That's the hardest question yet. I think I'm going to go with... Salty.

Lang Memorial Orphanage was different from most orphanages.

It was so different that it had prompted Jonathon Mavis and Elaine Janoski to run away from it at the age of eight.

They thought they'd never have to go back and dread the day -- or rather night -- that they'd be taken away by the adults. Adults that didn't look like they'd be very nice parents.

They thought that they could lead a simple life by themselves, with no adults, and grow up in peace.
