First of all, tell us how you stumbled upon Wattpad and when.

April 27, 2014. I just came back from living in Korea and my sleeping patterns were still off so I figured I'd read myself to sleep. I looked up free books and Wattpad came up. 

Wow! So what do you think about THE CRYPTIC's theme? What are your views regarding dark fiction?

I think it's great! Dark themes in fiction are always fascinating to readers and they make a story more complex. 

What do you like to read? Do you have a favourite genre or any specific likes?

Despite what many people might assume, I actually prefer Chick-lit and fantasy.

Why did you decide to join The Cryptic?

I think Wattpad needs to shed a little more light on the dark side. We hear a lot about romance stories etc... I'd like dark fiction to get some love too.

What compels you to pick up a pen and scribble down your thoughts? Do you have any inspiration or motivation?

Insomnia compels me to write and everything inspires me. I usually pull from dreams, fears, and pictures.

Being a writer, what's the easiest part of writing and which aspect do you consider the most challenging?

Writing is easy. Editing is difficult.

What kind of environment do you prefer to write in?

Someplace quiet where I can be alone.

What's your first piece of writing, if you can remember? What thoughts does it bring to you when you look back at it?

Bones of the Demon King was my first piece on and off Wattpad. I'm still amazed by what opportunities I've been given because I followed a whim to post something on an app that was new to me. It's incredible.

Tell us about your growth as an author.

It's still a work in progress. I'd be lying if I said I knew what I was doing.

Do you have a favorite author or book?

The Blue Sword by Robin McKinley 

Besides writing, do you have any hidden talents?

I can make balloon animals. I'm particularly good at making straight snakes. Lol

You're sitting in front of a brand new aspiring writer, what do you say?

Don't compare yourself to others and never try to emulate other writers. Your unique voice in writing just might be the next big thing.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time? Don't be afraid to tell us something funny, we won't tell.

Haha! I love watching K-dramas. 

Now, the most awaited question of every young reader, do you have any childish habits? Do you like cartoons or chocolates?

Who doesn't like chocolate? I don't think I have any childish habits unless you count suddenly breaking out into song a childish habit. I'm a horrible singer but I'm always singing something. Seriously, I have a problem. Lol 

Do you prefer sweet or salty?

Salty. If you put Doritos in front of me, I'm gonna eat them.
