I took a different approach for this chapter in terms of writing style. I thought this way conveyed more feeling but it could just be me.

Also, I'm not going to tell you whose point of view this chapter is from. You'll figure that out in the first sentence.

"I want to make sure this isn't a dream."

"Isn't eating with you enough to prove that?"

"Is that enough proof?"

"Yeah."

"Good."

"Papa?"

"Yes?"

"Promise me things are going to be alright in this realm from now on?"

"I promise, my Stardust."

"Do you like mechanics?"

"I swear, she has no common sense 80% of the time. Gumdrop! Come here! Good girl. Do you want to say hi to Jyn?"

"Hi, Gumdrop."

"Here, wanna hold her?"

"Um... is she okay with that?"

"Of course she is! Here, I'll put her in your lap."

"No. I got it. Your hand is full."

"Okay."

"She's so fuzzy."

"Yeah. She is."

"Can I ask you something?"

"Of course."

"What do you think of Krennic?"

"The Force is strong with him. He was an unlikely ally that I would have never guessed would help with so many things. I call him a hero."

"And you, Baze?"

"Meh, just another former imperial that turned out okay like Bodhi and K2."

"Okay. Thank you."

"Of course, Jyn."

"Sure thing."

"Cassian?"

"Jyn? What are you doing up? You should be resting."

"I'm fine. I'll be okay."

"If you say so."

"Cassian?"

"Hmm?"

"What do you think of Krennic?"

"He's a good guy. I didn't like him at first but he turned out okay."

"Chirrut calls him a hero."

"Well, good for Chirrut."

"He helped you, right?"

"Orson?"

"Yeah."

"Yes, he did."

"Huh..."

"Is this going somewhere?"

"I just wanted to know what he was like, you know, when you talked to him."

"Well, he was interesting. You would have liked him."

"I would have?"

"Yeah. I think you would have liked him more than I liked him."

"Oh..."

"Do you want to know anything else?"

"No, I'm good. Thank you, Cassian."

"Of course, Jyn. Glad I could help. You should get some rest now."

"Yeah... I will."

"Well if it isn't Jyn Erso."

"Yes, it's Jyn Erso."

"I suppose you have something from the Captain that I need to know about and he was too lazy to come tell it himself."

"No, I wanted to ask you a few questions."

"Very well."

"And please answer them without all your sass."

"That cannot be helped. I was programmed to be sarcastic and sassy."

"If you say so. I was curious as to what Krennic was like."

"I could have shot him."

"What?!"

"You heard me. I could have shot hum. I did not like him but everyone else did. So I didn't. But I would have liked to shoot him. I could have become leader of the mission."

"Why did you not?"

"The Captain said so."

"Why didn't you like him?"

"I felt at though he was trying to take my place."

"Your place?"

"My place as the outcast member."

"Okay..? But you're not an outcast."

"I am a droid and everyone else is human. Suddenly, you throw in an Imperial officer responsible for making the weapon that killed us all. I would say that makes him an outcast."

"I doubt he was intentionally doing so."

"I would not be so sure."

"Can I see him?"

"What's the password?"

"Um... K-2SO is awesome?"

"That's not the answer. However, it is a good password. Your mother is in there."

"Alright. Thanks."

"While you're in there, give him a good slap for me."

"Hi Mama."

"Jyn, what are you doing up? You should be resting and re-nourishing yourself."

"Cassian said the same thing. I'm okay, Mama. I wanted to see Krennic."

"Please use his first name, Orson. He's not our enemy anymore."

"So you liked him?"

"Yes. He was very nice."

"May I speak with him alone?"

"Alone?"

"Yeah... please?"

"Alright. I'll go. Just don't wake him from the coma."

"I promise."

"I've heard a lot about you from my friends... I guess you're not the monster that I remember you as. Not that you were a monster when we crossed over."
