Cover: The cover is okay and the text is easy to read. The only thing is the contrast of the cover. It's too dark. I'm not sure if you found it that way or if you edited it like that, but if there's one with higher quality, I'd use it. It still stands out.

Ilsa, a starving detective, is arrested for murder in a case she was supposed to investigate. Maya, a rogue warrior who will do anything to stop the harnessing of magic, is lacking the backup to do so.Neither is willing to accommodate, but with authorities out to get them for their double existence, Ilsa and Maya need a cunning solution. If they work together, they will be unstoppable. If one gives in to the other's ambitions, the triumphant one has the chance to live twice.

The Blurb is great! It has a good length to it, not too short and not too long. It makes sense. It makes the reader curious about why Ilsa was being arrested for a murder case she was working on. 

First Chapter: Great start in the first paragraph. Your description of the character's surroundings is very vivid and the emotions are explained very well. That's something a reader loves, to actually feel like they're there and to see what the characters see. 

The chapter itself isn't too long or short. That's fine the way it is. As far as grammar and vocabulary, I saw no mistakes. Well done!

I have to give you thumbs up on the description of everything. You somehow managed to describe everything without it being excessive. I felt myself in every scene. I love that and the readers do too.

From the start, you're grasping the reader's attention. I was pulled in throughout the whole entire chapter. Your writing style is definitely unique. You did an amazing job!!! I'm scared for llsa, though. I can't wait to see what happens more into the story.
