*Click* was the sound that woke me up, what it came from was Ian's phone, because apparently all the guys had to come in here to take pictures of this. I used my powers to slam the door shut, which woke up a startled Seto in the process. Oops. I snatched Ian's phone away from him and run, opening the door with my powers and closing it again to slow anyone down that would be chasing me. It looked like Ian, Adam, and Tyler were chasing me, Ian was screaming for his phone back while the others just wanted to chase me for fun. I laugh when I slide down the rail of the stairs and jump down when I reach the bottom, I hurry and find the picture and erase it quickly. I can't have proof I was here. Ian comes down the stairs yelling and I hand him his phone, at first he just stands there looking at it. "You erased it?" He asks. I nod and walk away towards the door. "Wait where are you going?" Seto grabs my hand and I turn around to face him. "I can't stay, I have to leave." I tell him, but he doesn't let go of my hand, suddenly Seto let's go and hugs me. "Please don't leave me!" He yells while squeezing me tighter. "Can't....breath...." I try to say with the lack of oxygen I have, Seto let's go and I inhale as much air as I can. "Why can't you stay dood? One more day come on!" Ian says, the rest of the guys join in to beg me to stay. One more night wouldn't hurt I guess. "Okay, I'll stay one more night but I have to leave tomorrow no excuses or begging allowed." I say. "Since your staying I think we should all go out to eat for breakfast this morning guys!" Adam yells making everyone cheer.

Adam drove half of us in his car and Jason drove the rest in his car, I was in Jason's car with Seto sitting beside me on the right, Ian sat in the front, and Jerome and Mitch sat in the back. Seto holds my hand the whole way there, I let him because it's cute and I'll have to leave tomorrow so it doesn't really matter I guess. I really should read the book before entering it. "So, Shadow where are you from?" Ian asks. "Oh umm...you could say I'm not exactly from here." I answer him. "Where would that be?" Mitch asks laying his arms on the back of the seat. "You probably never heard of it so it doesn't matter." I say hoping they will change the subject or at least drop this one. "Come on biggums you can tell us we're your friends." Jerome says entering the conversation. Friends... "You're my friends?" I ask. "Of course dood!" Ian exclaims. "Well, I was born in the Shadow Dimension but I moved to a city to get away, I think it's called Emerald City." I say, the car goes completely silent after I said that. "So your a Shadow Creature?" Mitch asks. I nod and I see Mitch and Jerome look at each other with concerned faces. "Don't Shadows use....black magic?" Ian asks me. "Yes, but that doesn't mean we are all bad." I explain to them. "Oh." Ian says. The rest of the car ride was silent but it was a comfortable silence.

We finally arrived at a restaurant, I look back to see Adam parked behind us. We all get out and head inside, the Hostess greets us with a smile then mentally counts how many of us are here, but then I remember something, she can't see me. "Eleven?" She asks us. Adam looks around and counts us all. "Twelve." He tells her. "Okay, I'll set out a menu for your friend till they get here okay?" She answers. Adam looks at her confused before saying something, "No we have twelve people here." Adam says pointing to everyone here till he gets to me and he puts his hand on my head, the hostess looks at him then at me, but of course when she looks at me all she sees is air. "Of course sir, my apologies, if you follow me I'll show you to your seats." We all follow her to our seats and sit down, I sit by Seto of course. The Hostess then goes back to her little podium and takes out a phone and a book and starts dialing, I look back at the table and see everyone's concentrated on a conversation so they won't notice I'm gone for a couple of seconds. I stand up and quickly walk over to the hostess and stand behind her, she dials the number and waits for someone to pick up. "Hello, is this Golden City Mental Institution?" She asks. There's a voice on the other end of the line but I can't tell if its a girl or boy. "I was wondering if you had any missing patients." She says, probably talking about Adam, I decide to let her see me so no one gets in trouble, or put in a mental hospital. "No? Okay would you be able to check on someone for me to make sure they are...mentally stable, you can take them in for questioning or something right?" She asks the person, she nods a few times before hanging up, putting the book and phone away and turns around, but as soon as she sees me she jumps a bit. "Oh sorry but you should really take your seat, please Miss." She tells me. "Sorry." I say quickly and rush to my seat. The hostess soon comes to our table but at first she was at a loss for words when she saw me. "Where did you come from?" She says which grabs the attention of all the boys. "I was with them, and you know I was because you saw me but you just didn't want to see me." I say. The girl just stands there with her mouth opening and closing trying to say something but she doesn't know what to say. "Oh and next time don't call a mental institution on my friend, it's not nice." I retort, the girl stares at me for a while before she goes back to the podium.
