Sean's POV

It's been a few week ever since I showed up into Mark's life. I was really enjoying learning about the human world, but it still scares me that no one can know what I really am. Today Mark decided to take me to the beach.

"So I thought you'd like to go swimming today." Mark said and smiled at me. I nodded. He then opened his bag and took swim trunks out for himself. He then took his shirt off and showed his perfect body. Then he went behind a rock and changed his pants. When he came back I smirked at him.

"You won't change in front of me?" I asked dramatically.

"Uh, maybe I don't want you to see me naked just yet." He said. I raised and eyebrow at him.

"You saw me naked when I turned into a human." I stated. He awkwardly scratched his neck and looked to the ground.

"Well, yeah, but you were unconcious." He said. I chuckled at him.

"Well, should I knock you out then?" I asked and now he raised an eyebrow at me.

"I think you'd have some trouble doing that. I am a bit bigger than you after all." He said with a smile on his face and I rolled my eyes. Then I jumped in the water and I was over the moon when I had my tail again. I did enjoy being on the earth, but I still missed being underwater.

"C'mon! Let's go swimming!" I shouted and Mark jumped in the water. He swam towards me and I must admit that he's a pretty fast swimmer. "So you can't breathe underwater like I can?" I asked and he shook his head.

"Humans can't do that. We need oxygen to survive." He explained. I then shot him a devious grin before sinking his head underwater. He coughed and spat out water after he came back to the surface as I laughed. "Oh, you're going down!" He said and I just shot him a grin.

"In the water? I don't think so. This is the only territory where I'm stronger than you." I teased and he rolled his eyes.

"Fine. You win." He said and laughed. We swam a bit deeper. I thought I saw something in the water. I tapped Mark's shoulder.

"See that there?" I asked as I pointed to it. "I'm gonna go check it out. Stay here." I said.

"No, I'm going with you. You're not going into possible danger alone." He said. I turned to him and smiled. Then I kissed him. He swam there and I was underwater. Soon I noticed something on the ground letting out darkness. I took a closer look at it. I was some device and just as I was about to leave so I won't be covered with the dark powder I noticed Mark's hair in there. That man created that! And I helped him create something that could possibly kill everything in the ocean! I quickly swam towards the surface to warn Mark.

"Don't touch the dark powder. It might kill you." I warned and he nodded. "This is all my fault."

"How? You didn't do anything." He fired back.

"Yes I did. You know how you gave me your hair so that I could get a potion to become human? Well, there's a little device down there that's turning your hair into this powder." I said and a tear escaped from my eye. He hugged me and then we swam back. All of a sudden Mark grabbed his arm in pain. It had a black stain on it. "Oh no. It got you. What do we do now?" I panicked. He pulled me out of the water and I got my legs back.

"We ignore it. It might be nothing." Mark spoke, but I noticed his eyes flickering from his natural eye color to red.

"Something is not right, Mark. Your eyes." I panicked, but he ignored it. "I'm serious!" I shouted and he stopped walking.

"Sean, maybe the powder hit you? You don't seem to be yourself right now." Mark said and continued walking as he pulled me by my hand. I am really worried for him. What is gonna happen to the Mark I know and love? Is he ever gonna be back? Because this Mark right now is not him.
